Suede, orris root, blackberry rum and saffron. I wouldn’t kick this guy out of bed for eating crackers. Smells a bit like armpit but in the best way possible.

Rich and layered with bright crisp fruits first on and a mellow down of masculine leathery vetiver and slight aquatics. It’s nice and smells expensive as hell, but it’s not as richly unisex as I’d hoped Oh, well.

This fragrance reminds me of fall a lot. I mostly get the blackberry, booze, and pear with a leather background and perhaps a tinge of cinnamon. It has a pretty harsh opening but after that it’s actually pretty nice. Yes, this fragrance is a synthetic hot mess but it’s cheap and I still think it smells nice. I also have noticed a distinct chapstick vibe from this fragrance. The backbone of it reminds me a lot of the smell of chapstick for some reason but somehow it works. Performance and projection are pretty terrible though but overall it’s a fairly nice fall cheapy in my opinion.

Genuinely one of the worst frags I’ve ever had the displeasure of owning. Horrendously synthetic, cloying fruit mixed with very harsh, boozy alcohol notes. A little bit of spiciness as well, but that’s also poorly done.
I suppose it might be alright for a teenager, but otherwise, I can’t imagine anyone wanting to have this on their skin.

Low projection, but the scent is actually somewhat decent once the notes start to separate. It does not smell so good up close though, so I wouldn’t suggest this for any kind of romantic encounter.
For what it’s worth, Jay Z Gold accomplishes what this scent intended to in a much better way. I wish Jay Z Gold had the leather note, but aside from that, every note in Gold is executed much better than this.

This has become my running shoe air freshener. I’m mailing this bottle, my Chanel bleu, English leather black and Nautica n-83 to my nephew today. They all are below average, and I just don’t have room for average scents. Money down the drain unfortunately

This one had to grow on me. It took a while for me to appreciate the nuances this one offers. The bitter start shouldn’t throw you. It evolves into a work of art. I call this the “ugly duckling” of my collection. Beautiful flacon as well.

The notes sound great but there’s something about the composition that seems wrong, making it smell crude, and I’m also getting a bit of a “synthetic” aspect to it that I don’t like. Perhaps it’s too busy or crowded for my tastes, as if there should be a focus to it but there isn’t.

I saw on Yahoo moments ago that Christian Audigier was one of the celebrities we lost in 2015 so it made me revisit this bottle in my collection. I like this fragrance because it smells different to me than most of the fragrances I have. The open has a nice fruity smell and I pick up vanilla and tobacco as it dries down. It’s more fruity than Versace Blue Jeans but for me I notice similarities. Both are great for casual “blue jeans” type of settings. If you haven’t tried this you should. I don’t think you will regret it.

Oddly enough Vanilla is not in the notes here but this smells almost identical to Versace Eros which is a rich vanilla scent. Eros is stronger and projects better. I am not impressed by this one.

I’ve had this in my collection for quite a while now. The summertime temps bring out all of the notes for me. Well done frag and for the price this is well worth the cost. When you put it on give it ten minutes to develop. The mid/base parts are the real deal. Wife likes it = bonus points.

I love this fragrance. At the beginning it smells sweet and fresh then slowly turn into woody, leathery scent with the hint of rum and blackberry. IMO Christian Audigier is a good combination of Versace Eros and Gucci Pour Homme, so sexy and menly. Good quality, cheap price! 8.5/10

What I get from first smell after sprayed on my skin is bergamot, green watery notes, and pungent spice. I sprayed this on about 30 minutes ago hoping it will change and settle down but it hasn’t yet. It has that crisp scent that many men fragrances have. I don’t get the berries. leather, rum, or pear. It’s being bombarded by this green, bergamot smell which neither are even in the notes list. I’ll see what happens to this scent as time goes on… Ok, so after wearing this for a while longer the citrus I am smelling is pomelo and that is listed in the notes. I’ve just learned this is a note that I do not like at all.

    A great fragrance at a bargain price…
This Christian Audigier fragrance is underrated and should be added to any collection. The current price/value is unprecedented and the fragrance/scent is good – really good…
Audigier for Him has many complex notes ranging from the blackberry to leather/suede, not to mention cinnamon, floral, and a hint of vetiver – yes, vetiver..!! Complexity at it’s finest..!! With my body chemistry, I get a successful and beautiful blend of the leather, suede, cinnamon, and rum combo of notes that comes out as something close to chocolate or cacao – call me crazy, but that is what I get. The beauty is – this scent rocks.. I get moderate longevity from Audigier, lasting about 6 hours – longer on clothing and the projection/sillage is decent, with performance at arms length for about 4 hours. After that – it settles pretty close to the skin.
Based on the basenotes, I would suggest Fall or Winter wear, but given the complexity, one could probably pull off wearing all year with no problem. I think Audigier provides great versatility of being worn to most events – from semi-formal to casual. The bottling and packaging are first class – I initially thought the cap was on the “cheezy” side, but have since warmed up to it and admire the whole bottle design – nice job Mr. Audigier..!! As mentioned before, the current pricing is great. A check of on-line price suggests that a large bottle can be purchased for under $20.00 USD – for this fragrance, a definite “must have”.
My final tally for Audigier for Him is 4.2 stars out of 5 stars. A truly underrated fragrance at a “steal of a deal” price. Definitely recommend adding to your collection.
Enjoy your day and make it count… Invest your time instead of wasting your time…

Bought this one for my partner. Had never smelt this before!! And After first spraying it I hated the initial smell but after it settled I loved the softness of this one!! Very suprising!! I would buy it again

Hmm… This fragrance is interesting.. The blackberry in it intrigues me but it’s relatively cheap and well, you get what you pay for. Longevity is weak with this one folks. You’d think it’d stay on for longer since it comes off as strong when you first spray it, but I always find that in 2-3 hrs (sometimes less) it’s as if I never sprayed it. Overall I generally disappointed with this one. I’m finishing up my bottle which is about half way full but I won’t be restocking anytime soon..

Mmmm…..I love this – suede and leather and rum – super manly smells mixed with moss and blackberries. A totally sexy scent, to me. Like a manly outside man….

Bought this for my son-in-law who is just like a girl about perfume. I love the way he enjoys that first smell and the look on his face on whether its a win or not.
I had smelled this and thought it was much more than nice. The old phrase I used to use when I am smelling a scent on someone is “you smell good enought to eat”.
Man this stuff smells good enought to eat.
Not a sharp scent. Very complex with the moss and woods and a smokey room with jazz in the background. I know that sounds funny but when I bought it I had them spray it on me and I was sad at the end of the evening as it faded.

Picked this up today in the cheap bin and was pleasantly suprised. Reminds me a bit of YSL Nuit Homme, albeit much cheaper. Very nice smelling for a date or evening wear. Could also be used straight out of shower as it seems to be able to pull off daytime use as well. All CA/ED Hardys are junk IMO, yet for some reason this stands out.

The first thing about this one, I just realized it’s the best for winter. I bought it blindly last summer and I wasn’t happy about it. All I smelled was such a strong alcoholic opening and some sweet/ watery notes, after 2 hours it was away. But in cold temperature it’s amazing!

i like this scent a lot.. i know its for men, but i use it.. i feel its some how feminine, or can be a unisex ..
i liked the men s more than the women’s one .. i got it from sephora..its unique yet has a familiarity to it as in a deja vou…it smells woody balmy powdery sweet with cognac..its mellow and strong…the saffron in it makes it so rounded.. absolutely beautiful..its sensual..dreamy..s if it tells a story of an Arabian Andalusian prince..

It smells nice when you first spray it but as it dries down and settles there is really nothing to this scent and I think the flashy bottle and gold plating is a good marketing scheme. It seems to me that SO many testers are made to smell amazing at the first whiff so you will buy the product and in my opinion this is a total gimmick

  23. :

It is a fun combination of fruits, leather and woods. And rum makes the initial impression pretty enjoyable.
A good choice to be used casually.

I think this is a rather fair scent for something that could be very cheap upon initial look (bottle, brand, etc.) I bought it on recommendation and was surprised. This is actually, in my opinion, pretty good juice. The top notes of pear, blackberry and pomelo liquor really do shine and it dries down nicely. I actually get about 4 hours out of this on me. I apply a decent amount because it isn’t offensive – some warm fruity juice on top, nice cinnamon in the middle and a fading base of leather (not a leather scent at all though). This is stuff for the club or a date with a girl you met at the beach – not sophisticated. The scent does not deserve a “crown” like it has – but it is the juice that counts. This is something that I don’t think too much about – it’s a spray-and-go bottle for me. But, one that I take some pleasure in. I wouldn’t go work out in this as it is a richer scent, but perfect for casual wear (year-round). 6/10 and a decent surprise – I recommend to for the 16-30 crowd who has edge (only an office scent if you are trying to pick up on someone you work with). 😉

After reading others’ reviews about the bottle and the juice and this being heavily discounted at the pharmacist’s, I took a chance and bought it blind.
After dousing my body post-shower, I was greatly disappointed by the result and regretted wasting my money.
The fragrance is insignificantly ordinary; I smelt the pear aldehyde and nothing else, then it dissipated and disappeared completely on me after 10 minutes – yes, 10 minutes! I then resprayed myself several times with still no effect.
Perhaps it’s just me; but I seriously think that whether you never sprayed any perfume on yourself or whether you drenched yourself with this, it would not make a difference in how you smelt afterwards.
Why didn’t Ms Caroline Sabas the perfumer and the manufacturers market-test this perfume before releasing it worldwide?

So it’s actually ok, not great. Easily forgettable.
It’s an easy-to-please, young-guy-hasn’t-tried-many-scents scent, because there’s a maturing instinct in a lot of boys to start appreciating cologne. This is a good start along with Cool Water, Rocawear 9ix and Aqua di Gio, as they’re easy to like when just starting out, but as you nature your senses you get over them.
The blackcurrant/pear opening is a nice enough second step to the usual alco-opening, then development brings orris, cinnamon and oakmoss.
The projection is ok I guess.

My store sadly ceased carrying this scent. We still have a few tester bottles from which I can nab a spray when I’m in the mood for it. I think it got a bad rap in my area. To me, it’s very smoky and masculine, and even though it does little to differentiate itself from its brother Ed Hardy Black, it is a solid, manly smell. I dig it. I own a bottle and will probably pick up another at some point. It is, however, one of those scents for which I have to be in an odd mood to wear. 🙂

I recieved a sample of this fragrance, and I have to say that it smells very good. On me, it’s shower fresh, but it still has a fruity smell to it; maybe because of the pear and pomelo. I give it a 4.5/5.

I purchased this extremely cheap intending soley to put it straight on Ebay. However, after reading the mostly negative reviews i could not resist opening it and having a spray. I let it settle for a minute before smelling and….wow, what a pleasant surprise. It reminded me straight away of Ulrich Lang Anvers2 which i loved. It is not as well blended as Anvers but it is quite a decent scent. I probably wont keep it…especially as the bottle is the worst i have ever seen.

It took me a while to get this scent down. It’s definitely a wild one.
The top out of the bottle is LOUD boozy spicy pear. I procured a slew of samples of this on the cheap, and gave them to a few friends. One friend gave it back a few days later, cursing me, saying his girlfriend said it made him smell like an old man. He showered it off before drydown even began.
And it’s too bad that he did, because the drydown is by far the best part of this fragrance. If you can survive the super loud, sweet, fruity top, then you will be treated to a much smoother sultry, smoky, woody, spicy drydown that is perfect for fall and winter. The drydown verges on oriental for me.
So my experience is the exact opposite of Justin’s. The top is truly a chore to get through, but the drydown is nice enough that it is actually worth the wait.
Careful on the trigger…you will offend with too much of this!
As for the bottle, I have no idea what they were thinking. Reminds me of those car scent things that I always used to see on the dashboards of so many inner city vehicles. Thank the stars, I don’t have to wear that bottle!

Happy 2011 people!!! Hope u guys have a great time, as I have mine XD
So, for the new year, I kick start with this fragrance review (its been a while since I last did mine, been busy working).
    On my skin:
Top: I get musky, sweet-like scent, with that touch of alcohol like scent, which is edible…or drinkable to me, just delicious. The fruity like punches scent is there, but not loud. 1-2 hour.
Middle: The scent calms down, sharp-like green-lean-mean- scent creeps in….kind of synthetic. And some woods pops in, but kind of quiet, I also detect something smoky, but barely detectable. 3-4 hours.
Base: dries down into an amber like scent, with some flower like sweet scent. 1-3 hours.
When i first scent this, I was about to blind buy it. OMG, the opening is fantastic.!
Then when it dries down, it gets cloying, boring, sharp, not nice. BLERGH!
Hmm…this is a tough cookie. When to use it?? I think it is a perfect clubbing stuff. If your skin can hold the top note for 3-4 hours, BAM! this one for sure cut smokes. And that rum-like scent, something fruity could cut smokes.
If you enjoy stuff like black XS, this could be your next arsenal, your AK 47 rifle in fragrance, hahahaha!
Quite loud for work, daily use to me.
Any guys can wear this all year round. College and up. Youngsters can pull this off easily. Kind of funky for adults, so best on youngsters to me =)
The country I am in has no 4 seasons, so it is either hot or cold weather. This works very well on both, but better on the heat.
My rating (base on 5 stars)
Scent: 3( amazing top note, it will be a 5 if the top note could hold a little longer, to bad overall it scores 3 to me, kind of ‘done it before’ scent).
Sillage: 3 (4 for the top note, 3 for overall. The top note is kind of beastly).
Time length: 3 (5-8 hours on my skin).
Occasion: 2 (a dark horse to me).
Overall base on mathematics: 2.75 /5
Sigh….wish the top note was the middle note. I wanted to love this fragrance, but the dry down sucks to me. =/

Interesting at first with the rum, but quickly devolved into a generic powdery smell. Not terrible, but pretty dull – I’d almost rather it was offensive. Very little in the way of lasting power, and it remained powdery ’til the end. 2 out of 5

Well let me begin by saying this is 1 of the most tackiest bottles I have seen, maybe it is geared towards teenagers?! But of course the look of the bottle is what got me to sample this frag, it had nothing to do with Christian Audigier’s name being on the bottle. So this cologne is youthful, somewhat fruity giving the synthetic vibe of the blackberry note, the woods later on create a more in depth feel, however This frag has absolutely no staying power!! For the price tag it is not worth it! I would say it last maybe 4-5 hours max on my skin… For anyone that enjoys this scent I suggest you get the shower gel to layer the frag with to try & make it last longer. I picked up a 1.7 bottle of this @ T.J Maxx for $15! When this runs out I will NOT be replacing it. Thanks but I’ll pass!

Don’t know why but when smelling this, I think of the Jersey Shore. 🙂 I can see them wearing this when they get older, I guess. This fragrance is rich but not overwhelmingly strong. Rum and alcohol are too boozy for me at the beginning but they fade fairly quick and stay in the back. Fruits and spices are very weak; how disappointing. The middle notes are more obvious with spicy cinnamon and saffron; giving it an incense/tobacco smoky dryness quality.
As it mellows, it gets a little sweet and smell almost like a bug spray (better than a bug spray I must say) and is actually tolerable. Luckily, it shifts again into a slightly sweet soft powdery scent with leather and suede. At the base, the scent is pretty good (finally) and it stays like this for a long time. I really like.
Well, will I be wearing this? Yes but not very often because it is too manly for such a wimpy kid like me. Maybe it will work better during this coming colder season. We shall see, but good gosh! the bottle is only for a mother could love.
@awesomeness. Special thanks for a nice swap! 🙂
