Best of Chevignon is a citrusy woody parfume. Suitable for man and women, and for age 16 to 35.

I agree with the CK One comparisons, though this is a touch more “masculine.” I just did a dab sampling, but from what I can tell there’s nothing of major interest to me here, since my preferences are on the other side of the spectrum (orientals, gourmands, leathers, tobacco, etc.).

This was my first perfume as a young male teen of 15 or 16 years old.(it was 1995 or 1996 ) I’m french so of course I know Chevignon. At that time if you had Chevignon school bags, jacket and so on, it meant you were from the upper class. That perfume was marketed as for men, actually young mens. You couldnt go outside without seeing the ad everywhere of a very cute and sexy young men ( probably an 18 y old guy) at any bus stop along with sexy tv commercials. I guess that’s why I bought it having no reference in perfume. I used very few drops because in high school you dont want people to notice you are wearing a perfume unless they are very close to you. So the fact that it has no “trail effect” is very good for teen boys and it’s also a light smell which is good. In the end I think I closed the bottle too strongly and the glass bottle ruptured around the cap..so I had to put the perfume in a random spray bottle.. Anyway I’m a bit disappointed to see they re market it to “unisex” as when you’r 15 you want to prove you’r a men. you dont want something a girl can wear.. But it’s also true that when you are 15-17 you need something light, not a strong musk thing. thats why ozone based perfume therefore unisex perfume are more recommended for teen boys, it’s definitely more classy than a strong smell. When you get older you can switch to the Chevignon for men with its leather base note.

Yeahh its unisexxxxx indeed! Fresh ,citrusy with gentle woody notes. Unfortunately it has poor longevity, weak sillage. Uplifting and very fresh in summer mornings. I think its good enough for office and hot-summer daily use only.

I came to BEST OF CHEVIGNON with zero preconceptions, having received my sample from an online emporium and having never even heard of the house. I just took a look at the Chevignon website and discovered that it is a fashion line for male urban warriors: lots of worn-leather flight jackets, distressed jeans, graphic t-shirts and wool sweaters, most everything in charcoal and gray.
BEST OF CHEVIGNON, the cologne, matches this image well. The opening is citrusy but also has a slightly dirty edge. I was thinking it might be from clary sage, but it appears that banana leaf is the note in question. The dirtiness quickly dissipates, and the drydown of this fragrance smells natural and still slightly citrus, but mainly woody and relatively unobtrusive.
Not too heavy, with low sillage and medium longevity, BEST OF CHEVIGNON is basically a scent for “cool” people, gals and guys alike, especially in hot weather.

Just received this fragrance. Wasn’t sure about it. A bit strong but starting to like. I agree smells a little like CK one. I am a woman and it does smell unisex.

Best of Chevignon is a unisex fresh fragance. The opening is ozonic, citrusy-fruity, I smell marine notes too. The middle is also citrus with the bourbon geranium note.The base is woody but not heavy, always clean and refreshing. Nice for summer and daily use, very energetic. A quality fragance with a decent sillage and longevity
