Lovely and clean. Quite watery and fresh.A hint of cucumber.It is like a raindrop on the skin.

this perfume is exactly what the title says ‘a walk in the summer rain’ it is very affordable and i love it,it has a very unique smell its not floral its fresh 🙂

I HAVE TO WRITE A HUGE EDIT ABOUT THIS SCENT:
At the beginning this was quite lovely, clean and marine. After some days this started to give me quite a bad headache/nausea. I can’t stand it anymore, maybe beacuse of the mix of aldehydes and sea water. Finally I decided to give it to my sister, who appreciates it quite a lot.

I blind bought this scent and also if I do like it, it is quite different from what I personally expected.
I would describe this scent as “soapy-marine”, it has a very distinct marine note that I smell, but I expected something less soapy (also if I love soapy scents) and more airy. Because of that this perfume is less ozonic than I expected.
If you are looking for a clean perfume that suggests the idea of a cotton T-shirt, this is definitely for you 🙂

It reminds me of revlon head over heels which is awful for me. Essence is better than revlon because a bit fresh and soapy but I don’t like all of them. I hate freesia and melon – or watermelon- scents.

I bought it after I read this page, but I’m completely disappointed.
The only note I can clearly distinguish is the ozonic one (and I hate ozonic perfumes), if I put on a bit too much induces me headaches, it’s very chemical and cheap.
Citrus -> mmmhhh… Really? Just a tiny bit of watermelon scent, but again, chemical and almost sticky.
Marine -> I would say yes, but it’s combined with a musky scent, anch I hate musky perfumes.
They suggest this would be a copy of Rem Reminiscence and acqua di Gio, I don’t own Acqua di Gio right now, but I remember Acqua di Gio being more fine and watery, nothing comparable.
I can assure that essence fragrance is definetely NOT a dupe for REM Reminiscence, absolutely, If you’re thinking of buying this because you like REM, this is not for you.
Floral -> just a slight, chemical and sticky flowery note.
Aromatic -> I can hardly distinguish some kind of a warmy cucumber, I knok it’s weird, probably it’s just my nose too complicated.
Ozonic -> definitely yes, the perfume itself is a giant cloud of ozonic/musky nightmare.

I really hope that the tester I used had gone bad or something…It smelled from the first second like a public bathroom scent! I couldn’t believe it. I was testing the Essence range in the store, and this was the only fragrance from them that I found I don’t like, but also that was horrible! And the drydown was worse, like spoiled fruit. I really hope it was the tester, because I liked other fragrances in the line.

Oh, no…this is not my world. Fresh, too fresh with a sharp, loud greenwaterly notes. Admiteddly it has a very cheap price, but in exchange for the scent is cheap also.

Wanneer ik het geurtje opspuit ruik ik meteen het zoutige, zilte van de zee. Iets zoets komt later, maar ik kan het niet persé thuisbrengen als watermeloen of sinaasappel.
Ik vind het erg lekker, lekkerder dan ik had verwacht!

fresh, light and breezy. smells nicer and fresher than coolwater and aqua di gio. great fragrance. lightly sweet and fruity. does not induce headaches and still manages to smell feminine. i wouldn’t say it smells masculine at all unlike some fragrances. wish it lasted longer than an hour though…can’t really smell it much after that.

Quite nice fragrance – for that price… It summery, quite fresh and quite sweet. It’s not typicall fresh fragrance.
It seems to me like a fruit juice on the beach. I smell some fruit, maybe a watermelon and mandarine… No flowers. And there is also some watery and a little bit salty feeling – like smelling the water from the sea.
It’s not strong but I think it should be applied carefully, it can bother someone. I’m not a fan of fruit fragrances but this one seems to me quite pleasant, for summer. Fruit is not overporing, not too sweet.
