Description

German jeweler Thomas Sabo in cooperation with marketing company Rubysense is launching their first fragrance – exciting, passionate and sensual Charm Rose. Creators aimed the perfume at women of all generations – from young girls to mature women.

Thomas Sabo is a Germany-based jeweler with exclusive shops throughout Europe, Asia and America. The company focuses on three areas of products: jewelry, watches and beauty (including fragrance). The international designer has a special sensitivity for Sterling silver, with the utmost eye for detail and a total flair for design and trends.

Charm Rose incorporates floral, fruity and oriental aromas and expresses light-hearted elegance, enchanting femininity and just the right portion of charm. The fragrance opens with refreshing, fruity notes of yellow plum, blueberry, peach blossom and clementine. As the name suggests, a heart blooms with various sorts of roses: Chinese, alpine and musk rose, as well as magnolia, ylang ylang and jasmine. A base finishes with tonka bean, silver amber, sandalwood, powdery vanilla and rosewood.

Transparent pink flacon of the new eau de parfum is round and decorated with a painted red rose on its front side. It is crowned with a silver cap on its top and black-and-white stripes on its sides. A silver rose medallion is hanging on the neck of the flacon and you can use it as a bracelet or hair tie. Outer carton resembles a charming, old-fashion, striped hatbox lined with pink satin.

Charm Rose arrives as 50 ml EDP, accompanied by scented candle and scented lip balm. The perfume and the exclusive Charm Rose Perfume Candle (fragrance for home) carrying the same notes is introduced to the market in August 2010. The oriental floral, charming perfume can be purchased in all Thomas Sabo shops worldwide and in Douglas perfumeries in Germany.

Very-very bad frag., like a mouldy rose with woody notes. Stinky nifty, grrr. 🙁

This opens as a fresh sweet rose, but the drydown smells exactly like Midnight Poison on me.

Good!!!! It’s not a flowery, well known, boring rose interpretation, but something inspiring. Very youthful rose, but not in the dewy, innocent petals way. It has something rebellious, interesting, cheeky and feminine.

I have a strange chemistry that sours many perfumes and find it very difficult to find something that smells good on me. This is amazing. Love it. It settles quickly and lasts a long time. It is very versatile and I use it as my only perfume at the moment (winter) because the only other I have is too summery. The only downside to it is that the silver flakes off the lide and spritz – I would have expected better for a £50 bottle of scent.

I found it disappointing too. Harsh and cheap smelling. Like any drugstore scent.

I dislike this fragrance, it smells very harsh and makes me smell of alcohol

Charm Rose is unfortunately a very watery deluted rose without any edges but but rapped in some fluffy tonka and vanilla gauze. It’s not bad, but it’s not good to me eihter. The fruity top notes a barely there but give that watery feel, there is definately a rose in there but a very tamed down one with all the thorns pressed in a fruit or a tonka bean I think *lol* And the woody stem is covered in vanilla woods. No, not my cup of tea. I rather like some dewy leafy freshness, but not that watery fruity type.
But if you’re going for some girly sweet rosy kind of scent it might be worth a try, well ok, almost every frag is worth a try.
