Description

L’Occitane en Provence presents a new fragrance dedicated to rose and adds it to the rich floral bouquet inspired by beautiful rose flowers. Rose Aurore Eau Fraiche has been on the market since February 2013 and offers fresh breezes carrying fragrant scents of fresh white rose petals. Rose Aurore Eau Fraiche reveals abundance of floral hues and arrives just in time – as announcement of fresh and dashy spring days.

New fragrance Rose Aurore Eau Fraiche heads perfumed body care collection which ensures daily care with the same fragrant notes as the new Eau Fraiche. This light and transparent composition awakes us with fresh and luminous citruses, offering their shine over floral accords of rose and lotus in the heart of the composition. Base notes warm citruses and flowers and provide a subtle trail of amber on the skin.

Rose Aurore Eau Fraiche can be obtained as 75ml eau fraiche, along with body care collection which encompasses Rose Aurore Radiant Body Milk 250ml, Rose Aurore Radiant Hand Cream 30ml and Rose Aurore Shower Jelly 250ml.

    update June 2014 :
At last I tested this & it was just nice, nothing much about it but maybe because I was in a hurry. It smells like any other cold ^ refreshing rose fragrance & that’s it. I may give this another chance though & see if I like it enough to get it.

A promise for dewy rose – yet only half fulfilled.
Again, another beautiful rosy scent by L’Occitane, fresh, light and gloriously happy, yet this is not a dewy rose, but a much more complex, mature rose.
I love it, yet Rose des Champs is much more dewy.
This is lovely and I adore wearing it, but is much more “perfumy”, so I consider its name slightly misleading.
    A great fragrance nontheless.
Longevity and sillage both fair to moderate.

I really like this one, quite similar to Rose 4 Reines, but the dry down is sweeter. Remains me of Dior Addict Summer Peonies, light and subtle. Longevity on me is about half day which I think is modest.

Yet another limited edition of Rose from L’Occitane in a typical vintage-like beautiful romantic packaging.
I’m not totally at ease with their give-and-take approach because if I happen to like a LE then what if I want to re-purchase? It happened with Delices de Fleurs. I usually stay out of LE.
That said, it’s not easy to escape the usual spray from SAs, haha!
I tried it and I quite liked it!
Not meaningless, it’s a new rendtion of rose with a very airy quality and yet it does smell of rose oil which is not airy at all.
It seemed to me a strange work of perfumery, because it features a thick note of high end perfume mixed in a careless scent.
For sure it is nice and wearable, highly feminine and inspiring of true rose. It’s longlasting and enveloping. It smells less artificial than Rose 4 Reines which I really like, too.
Great buy if you like rose and don’t care about LE.

    UPDATED—
I’ve been dying to add another rose perfume to my collection and this is it! Light, airy rose scent this is. Lotus and rose has blended beautifully..! Very fragrant, like a white rose and lotus petals water bath. Though, this a dominantly rose scent. Makes me feel youthful, feminine, refreshed and somewhat old-fashion-sexy.
This is a potential sillage monster. Go easy on the spraying. Lasted way longer and stronger than rose 4 reines on my skin (around 4-5 hours vs R4R’s 2-3 hours).
Oh, and the notes listed are incomplete.
According to my mail phamplet from L’Occitane,
    Top notes: lemon, orange, bergamot
    Middle notes: rose, lotus
    Base notes: musk, amber

at L’Occtiane UK’s website the 75ml edt is priced at £37, however the gift box in the picture is currently on special offer at £39. body lotion in the gift box is 30ml, but at 250ml bottle is also available at £20.
NB – I have no connection with L’Occitane, apart from being a customer!
