    Sweet grass and moss. On me this doesn’t radiate any woody notes. I agree with other reviewers that there is a floral note here and I suspect it is the sweet grass. This is a pleasant and inoffensive scent that I enjoy having in my fragrance repertoire. It’s light, doesn’t last terribly long and won’t offend anyone in your orbit – and sometimes that’s just what you need from a scent. This is a recommend from me – as long as you know what you’re signing up for.

    I clicked the dislike button because it went soapy on me and didn’t last very long, but actually the scent would be really pleasant on the right person. It’s a very mellow blend of florals that feels more like a meadow than a root.

    Starts off bitter and surprising, but after a few moments, becomes soft, floral, earthy… like the forest in summer.
    It’s not something easy to wear, it’s for those who are a little more daring with their fragrance.
    Personally, I really like it. I think it’s wonderful and interesting, very much a Margot Elena creation!

    I have the crema version of this and I find it very grounding, very much a scent that puts me into a calm natural setting. I really like how it grounds and centers me though it does remind me how much I miss actually being in our temperate forest/rainforest.

    This doesn’t smell bad, but I am not getting any of the notes listed. No grass, no moss, no woods. On me it smells like a generic floral mix, and is quite similar to the company’s Linden. I have the crème version of both these fragrances, I don’t know if that makes a difference or not. Disappointing.

    Scorpiosheep’s review below sums up my experience with this fragrance almost exactly. I initially thought this was bitter and very green and dirty, like bark scraped off young green willow twigs, and freshly cut grass, and tilled soil. But then after a half-hour or so it softens and out of nowhere comes a pleasantly sweet floral, maybe a bit like violets. Root turns into a completely different scent that I can’t imagine will appeal to those drawn by the listed notes. I like it, but I don’t understand. (And I would NOT call this unisex.)
