It is a very warm and woody fragrance. A perfect combination of citrus and vetiver. Perfect for religious holidays. My nose has always had contrasts on this perfume. I like it and I do not like it at the same time. I would like to understand it, moreover it is one of those perfumes that I cherish with great care as it is not currently available. It is simple but complex. Those who love vetiver like me will surely love this fragrance but despite everything I consider it a vintage that should be used once every thousand years for its complicated refinement. I realize how three notes can give life to something truly beautiful. In time, I begin to understand it. It seems there is no note that overpowers the other, as if all three would say: “Hey, we are this fragrance, that’s why you can not divide us and distinguish us”. Believe me: Three notes but: complex fragrance. Silvana Casoli: what the heck did you create? What the hell did you really put inside this bottle?

I tested it along with Floris’ Vetiver, and I found them quite similar.
Vetiver de Java is more green, grassy.
Also has a good staying power, but the sillage is incomparable – Vetiver from Il Profvmo is ubiquitous, almost biting, gets into your nose, throat and eyes even.
