this is very masculine first off. not unisex at all. the opening is very strong spicy and harsh. very powerful opening one of those scents where i dont like it because the opening is so intense.so i said i will wait to see if the drydown is better. but it does change much in the mid notes.it just kind of relaxes the strong opening and starts to sweeten up a bit but still spicy.also its not listed in the note breakdown but i smell oud. the fendi fan di fendi assolut oud or the polo supreme oud. it has a similar oud smelled yet surrounded by spices and citrus up top and sweetness in the mid and dry down.definitely a winter scent may fall nights. but i live in texas so cold weather states may can rock it on fall days too.the drydown actually smells good though. its still strong and masculine but sweet and balmy or resinous.the spices are there throughtout the entire scent, the oud accord also but it gets more feint as the fragrance wears along.this is a very daring scent that is suitable for a mature man with confidence and a sense of style to match the scent. if you are dressed right with this scent it will scream power and success to women around you.

This smells very good, surprisingly. MASCULINE. It has the Burberry brit vibe, the slight powdery, pungent, and nutmeg spicy scent. I would of bought, but I recently purchased Bottega Veneta Pour homme for my dress up scent(Its awesome).

When I smelled for the very first time Issey Nuit Parfum I was surprised how good it was. On someone else`s skin, it was nice earthy patchouli.
When I sprayed myself with Nuit Parfum I was very disappointed with how bad and cheap it smells on my skin.
Although this one (Noir Argent) seemed to have a nice ingredients list and be the one I was hoping Noir Parfum may be for me, it is still cheap spicy-leathery-tonka mix.
A tad different than regular Nuit Parfum with good lasting power and loud sillage for an hour.
After that time it sits closer to the skin for another 6-7 hours.
I do not think it will be a regular “flanker” for a long. Do not know about other from Nuit family, but I guess it will be a special edition which will disappear from the shelves after some time.
It is a shame, but if you do have regular Nuit Parfum or even EDT – stick to them!

Tried this in the Amsterdam Duty free. It’s got a nice blend of fruity, sweet and woody aromas that leaves me with a bit of a Invictus vibe (not saying they smell the same). It lasts well but I think it has less character than the original Nuit d’Issey. I’d give it a 6.5/10 since I care more about fragrance character.

This house always puts an unusual “twist” on things….I will try this when it comes to T.J. CrapRack for $34.99 , next year. Ba ha ha ha ha ha ha…………..

I already own this fragrance and
to me this one smells a bit like
the original nuit only better done,
the difference to me is that the original
had a more earthy vibe, while this one
has a very nice dark leather vibe,
but they are both pretty dark scents,
it also resemblance Astral and Austral blue with that citrus
opening and the beautiful drydown.
The fragrance itself projected for about 2 hours
and lasted about 7 hours.
