Description

Pure Poison is the newest Dior’s poison; it enchants you, and fills you with bold strength. The name reflects the fragrance. Pure Poison was created by three perfumers, three ‘noses’, three souls, so this collective product delights with complex composition and incredible harmony.

At the beginning you are allured by fresh notes of bergamot and jasmine, then white flowers come in, erotic and intoxicating, while sandalwood and amber in the base give it depth.

Pure Poison was made in 2004. The creators are Carlos Benaim, Dominique Ropion and Olivier Polge.

when I smelt this it felt like I’m crunching shells with my teeth but in a nice way if you can imagine. Thin, beautiful, clean smelling shells. Maybe because the bottle looks like a shell. But then I imagine a very beautiful inside and outside young mom who sits on her make-up boudoir getting ready with lilac scarfs and pearly accessories, with a grateful calm happiness on her face. she likes to wear many colours but in pastel and tells a lot of stories to her kids, stories that make them see life as a mysterious fairytale.

Apart from Poison Girl EDT/EDP, the Poisons just don’t do it for me. This one is generally pleasant—kind of cool yet creamy and powdery/musky—but quite underwhelming all the same. There’s also a plasticky note running through it that I don’t enjoy. This is one line I wish I loved because they all sound wonderful, but I can’t make them work.

Smells like white flowers. Then it ends up smelling like laundry, smelling ‘clean.’ This isn’t a complaint. It’s very pleasant, but definitely smells like detergent and other ‘clean’ things.
The white flowers are not creamy. They are cold and fresh.

I had this when it was first released, as I did with all the Poisons. I remember this as being my least favourite, still lovely of course though.
I have just received my white cap, pre reformulation bottle today. WOW. It’s so much better than I remember. And the sillage is immense. I went to my partners and he was in another room with the door shut and he smelt me before he saw me!
I don’t really think there is anything offensive about this scent. It is so, so pretty. It’s Dominique Ropion though and there is nothing that man has not created that I have not fallen in love with.
Time to keep my eyes peeled for more reasonably priced pre formulation Pure Poison! I’m also looking forward to going to the department store to compare with the current formulation. Perfume is seriously going to bankrupt me!

I used to love this perfume. The first time I came across it was on a bride and it suited her perfectly, pure and clean but complex and strong at the same time. I bought it for myself last year, after it’s been reformulated (I think) and all I can smell is cheap soap and alcohol. It has lost its elegance! Too bad.

I love Pure Poison! I must be smelling something different or have very different tastes from the negative reviews below (which is completely ok as we need a variety of perspectives). It is without a doubt a much loved fragrance for me (possibly in my top 10 – depending on mood).
For me Pure Poison is the perfect blend of white floral and complementary notes, with a gorgeous Jasmine dominant focus (beautiful, ‘fresh in my garden’ type jasmine, without any dirty edge to be had). This is one of my absolute favourite Jasmine fragrances.
It is so beautifully blended (like I personally feel Dior often achieve), that the rest of the notes just waft harmoniously together without me being overly aware of individual components, but loving them all together.
This fragrance is fresh, soft and very floral with a hint of sweetness and great silage and longevity. Less is more with the sprays (1-2 is more than enough on me and I can see it could be too heady with overspraying). This smells like Spring time at our local flower festival. I cannot rate this highly enough!

the old pure poison was heavenly the new reformulation smells so cheap and pretentious (yes, I called a fragrance pretentious) sigh I’m so frustrated with Dior.

    Pure Poison
I tried this a couple years ago and blind bought a 3.4 oz. It was AWFUL. It was so stifling, stuffy and abrasive on my skin that I had to scrub it off right away. I gave that one away and decided to try again.
i ordered a once oz bottle this time and it is a COMPLETELY different smell. Now it smells fresh and clean and I LOVE it! I REALLY love it. This is the fresh clean I have been looking for.
I want to order again but I got the good one off of ebay and don’t want to take a chance on getting the “older” scent.
I love it so much that it may become my signature scent.

White floral – warm ambery – woody
    Color impression: ivory
Gardenia, jasmine and sheen of intoxicating sandalwood, a perfect venom blend to melt my heart. Softly woody, luminous floral, oozy ambery, comfortably warm and skin-like; Pure Poison is pure and sheer but at the same time, it displays spiky toxic beauty. Extraordinarily sillage and great performance on skin, it’s a wonderful outdoor gem. Once fell in love with it, it’s not easy to get back.

Unusual perfume. Smells extremely clean, like laundry detergent. Guess it fits the name, detergent is pure and would kill you if ingested. Although I enjoy it I don’t think I would pay that much to just smell like clean clothes, for me personally it doesn’t smell it’s price but if white floral crisp, clean laundry like- freshness is what you are looking for, this is gorgeous.
Edit : I’m starting to appreciate this more, the intense detergent smell only lasts for about 15-20 minutes, the dry down is wonderful. It’s cold, the perfume for an ice queen. My fiance said he likes it and now I’m tempted to buy it.

I really want it…but it’s too feminine and I think it’s not my type.

  13. :

    4 out of 5

It is a complex, multi faceted perfume. Do not let the simple composition mentioned above trick you.
It is one of the kind that you can not detect the notes only try guessing which will be probably wrong.
The transition from note to note, flower to flower leaves no trace.
The perfume, with all its got, makes you feel one and only single note which you will describe as perfection

To me it’s just white floral but not boring actually it’s very nice and feminine

To Dinka.begic: I think the new formula still carries that “back street urine stain” vibe. Maybe not a lot, compared to the original formula. But I did detect something smell faintly like that on my skin while testing the current formula. Don’t know what caused that.

i don’t know if it’s been reformulated but i remember it smelled like a backstreet urine stain when i first tried it on ages ago. now it smells like fresh clean linen. my advise is to try it on a warm spring day because it starts to open up like a blossom in the sun and reveals a totally new side of it. it’s a beautiful, clean yet rich fragrance.

Clean laundry, freshly scrubbed out of the shower soapiness, jumping into a newly made bed and inhaling the just out of the drier sheets. There’s something warm, cozy and a little bit woody hiding behind the bright fresh citrus, florals and musks. I didn’t think I’d like it, but there’s something to it that keeps me sniffing my wrists…

  21. :

On me, jasmine and gardenia got pushed to the corner by other strong and sharp notes (orange, mandarin…). So sad :(( as I had high hope and expectation for a creamy composition from this one. It did not work on me at all.
All I could smell from start to finish was a very soapy scent exactly like hand wash soap with “rotten” smell of jasmine (as the whole composition gave me a vibe of “urine” floral smell. I’m SURE that it does not perform like that on many people, just on ME, unfortunately). The powdery effect was not pleasant either. It was more like light “moth ball powder” on me. I have experienced something like that before with other fragrances when jasmine or gardenia did not play nicely with some citrus notes (mandarin, orange…)

If anyone has seen the fascinating and thought-provoking film Gattaca, this is the scent that I imagine Irene wearing when she goes out on a date with Eugene/Jerome (see the film for further explanation). Irene, like this scent, is outwardly cool, pristine, stark in her beauty and yet there is humanity within, a touch of warmth, some slight imperfection that paradoxically makes everything perfect. This scent is a magnificent elegance on the right person whose chemistry can support and nurture it. I am not that person, but oh how I wish I could smell this on Irene…

I believe I purchased this and Midnight Poison a month or two ago. What a pleasant, crisp, well-mannered perfume! It smells enjoyably fresh and clean, like a basket of spruced up laundry. It’s almost like it’s sparkling (which makes no sense!) It’s not breathtaking like I thought it would be, but I definitely don’t regret buying it. In fact, I’ll probably buy it again. I just wish I got the sweetness I keep hearing about.

Well. ..I imagine wearing pure poison in spring summer time when it’s warm and sunny, when u are a little tan…,by the beach in the evening/night time with the fresh breeze….Clean soapy and sexy.! I live on an Island so…)I will buy it for the next summer !
Ohhhhh. ..but i’m sure it’s perfect also in autumn /winter time .as it is very easy to wear in both hot and cold ,day night time.
Edit:I test both white cap and purple…for me it’seems one and the same fragrance.really.

One of my all time favourite perfumes… AFTER the reformulation. When it was first released I didn’t much care for it.. then after they changed it I fell in love. It’s perfection. Smells amazing in hot and cold weather and for any type of event. Elegant.. classy.. just right. Dior at their very best

Other than a burning nose and sneezyI cannot tell I am wearing scent when applied after a shower. Soapy white floral nothing. Well behaved, great for office work. Pure is a good description. I would let a young girl wear this as it is light and inoffensive. For everyone else, it is boring.

I got on the train too late. I have never smelled the original but I must have got it after the formulation.
The white floral and orange is wonderful and it gets round and creamy. Glad there is no coconut or suntan lotion. But armpit musk is a bit too strong. For a Dior, it surprisingly lacks depth and complexity.
Update: I think I got a bad bottle. No more business from me this online shop. Just went to Sephora and Pure Poison there is much more orange and floral, and these orange and floral last longer.

  34. :

    4 out of 5

The original Pure Poison, to me, used to smell like the opening bars of Beethoven’s piano sonata no. 29. It was the first perfume I ever fell in love with when it came out in 2004, and I used several bottles of this until around 2010.
After seven years without it, I recently bought it again, but found that it has lost a considerable part of its ethereal charm in the reformulation. The previously most stunning part, the top notes, seem to have changed the most: The new version lacks the puzzlingly natural elegance, the mysterious glamour of the old formula. The drydown is slightly more similar to how it used to be, but quite a bit muskier and less complex.
Indeed, the new formula lacks the natural charm and effortlessness this perfume once embodied. Not to be misunderstood: It’s still a great perfume, outstanding even – but not quite as magnificent as it once was.

Perfume is permanent / meaning huge longevity, it smells nice and subtle, I feel gardenia and jasmine, some bergamot and orange blossom. Ambre is not much, more vanilla though it is not the list.
Thank God it is not another typical Poison luscious with chocolate or coconut or vanilla spicy. It does not seduce you, but it’s hanging out somewhere. I would mainly say white flowers. Beautiful.

Classic Noa by Casharel+Jasmine Noir by Bulgari. Very feminine. White floral. Someone mentioned “white queen”. 100% agree. I dislike original poison but want pure poison in my collection.

Had been “avoiding” sniffing/trying this one for so long. Today, I sniffed it for the first time, and it was LOVE at first sniff ! Great floral/musk-ish scent..and even a touch of woodiness too…???…It will be a future “buy” for sure.
EDIT: Received this today !! Opens citrus/floral…then moves into the floral/ambery/slight woody cedar stage…then you feel the “sweetness”.
The sweetness stays “balanced” due to the cedar/sandalwood, IMO.I can also feel the light-ish indolic/animalic vibes too.
Truly glorious to my nose !!! So glad I can across this one, finally.

This is my first of the Dior Poison line I have tried and chose this to sample first as a beauty store labeled it warm, which is right up my alley.
I am not getting any warmth from this and am starting to believe that my chemistry is picky about white flowers. I was hoping some of the amber and sandalwood would soften, but they never even made an appearance.
The white flowers here are very clean and soapy. But in stead of bright and shower fresh-like, they read to me more cold, austere, and aloof. They call to mind a a mid-century modern home, all glass and white on white, belonging to a commanding (not loud) woman with a smooth, severe bun at her nape, a beautifully tailored suit, and all angles, ambition, and bottom line.
In the end, not for me.

My only lucky blind buy! I’m in live with this beauty. White flowers, more white flowers, a bit fresh, a bit seductive but not too much. Lasts quite long (~6 hours) on my skin. Lovely!

    My beautiful Pure Poison…
Out of the Poison line, this one is the most unique (of the current selection) since it is not a heavy scent (no incense, plum, vanilla, coriander, etc). However, this is inexplicably POISON. It’s being lured out to a snowy pasture by a beautiful woman dressed in white and adorned in sequins. She’s shy, but knows what she’s doing. She comes off as innocent, but her smirk gives away something sort of mischievous.
This comes off as subtle, kind of like a laundry sort of scent, and soft, however, there is something so addicting about it. It’s strongly orange blossom & jasmine to me with hints of citrus. However, over time, the notes blend beautifully and create a scent I haven’t sniffed elsewhere. I’m sure there are scents that are similar to this, but there is something in the dry-down that is so unique to me. This is the smell that is expected when curled up in fluffy white blankets, snow falling outside, cup of coffee or hot chocolate in hand, and sitting by the fireplace. It’s comforting but a little sexy. Although I don’t wear it as often as I probably would like to (to give my other scents a wear), I still feel that this is my signature scent because it feels like it fits me like a glove. It’s also perfect for all seasons and weather, although I personally find that it blooms in the winter in the cold air. There is nothing in this that is nauseating (to me, I’m sure there are people who do) and it makes me feel very sensual and in a way motherly (I’m not a mother nor do I want to be). I feel like a friend to confide in when I wear this, which sounds weird, but I guess that’s what I mean by “motherly”. Although it is kind of soft and the notes are “light”, this is a scent of strength. Mothers typically are associated with comfort, love, and softness, but let’s not forget that they are also the most strong individuals. Not only strong physically from giving birth and constantly picking up their children when they were young, which adds physical strength, but strength of heart, will, and mind. That’s what this scent makes me think of. Although I do not want children of my own, I feel like a goddess woman wearing this. Between being sexy and motherly, this is the scent of a woman in my opinion. It just covers all aspects of womanhood from the softness to the strength and confidence.
Maybe it’s just me and it just smells like laundry detergent to most people, but I’m happy to perceive this the way that I do. 🙂

When I smell “Pure poison” I instantly have a image of “White Queen” who is fresh, clean, cold, gorgeous, elegant, powerful and very highly sexy. I always wear this perfume when I have a business or formal occasion because it help me to get more confidence.
Besides, the sillage and longevity is very long, more than 10 hr for my skin. (excellent!!!)
Pure poison you are perfect!!! and I really love you.!!!!!

One of my absolute favorites! It’s been reformulated of course, and it’s not as great as it used to be, but I still love this divine scent. To me it’s everything a perfume should be. Unique, well blended, hauntingly fragrant. It’s hard to forget this smell, it’s pure feminine sexiness and beauty in a bottle. No one note outdoes the other, nothing dominates. It’s got perfect amounts of floral, fruit, and warm woody base notes. It’s not sweet, not sour, it’s in a state of harmony with all it’s separate components.

This is it!!! Wedding day perfume. Very special.

  45. :

    5 out of 5

It is good, not super. there is no sweet taste in it. It is soapy and a little boring. Longevity is good but the sillage is moderate. I think this one is suitable for middle-aged women.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

This starts off with bright, fresh gardenia and jasmine. I was worried because white florals tend to go indolent on my skin, but this held it’s pretty, clean, slightly soapy fragrance all day. 10-12 hours in it finally dried down to a glowing amber, although it still holds a whisper of brightness. I can’t decide if this is a like or a love, I’m going to enjoy wearing it to figure it out.

Perfection. I just bought another bottle, my favorite perfume.

Mine was dated 2008. I dont know if that was a bad year for this perfume but it smelled nothing but white soap we use for bath in Turkiye (Turkish bath style of a soap that is). Being a Dior perfumes fan, i was disappointed.

  49. :

    5 out of 5

I had the first version in 2006. But I couldn’t fully appreciate this beauty. It was too grown up scent and I used it without particular pleasure. I had 30 ml bottle and once finished I never repurchased it again.
4-5 months ago my sister in law offered me 100ml of the new version of pure poison with a dark purple cup. I was not very happy to have it again because I put some time to finish my previous 30 ml (more then 1year). But something happened and my perception of this fragrance changed.
It is a cold cristal white and sharp fragrance evoking snow flops, winter white blanket. It is a mysterious heavy magic enchanting juice fabricated by a snow queen. There is a balance between bitter flavour and cream balsamic notes. There is so a unique mirage cristal cream note without any similarity. There is something magnetic and attractive that forces you to come back to this perfume again and again.
Without any doubt it is a unique BIG perfume following a serious self confident lady who is a strategic and clever calculator and who never takes serious decisions on a hurry and emotional influence.
I do not wear it often and carefully choose occasions for because it is so unique, influent and cold. I wear it on certain important occasions like serious business meetings with a certain dress code (black or dark blue pants/skirt and jacket with a white shirt and dress shoes). The longevity and trail are exceptional. Love it.

Absolutely love it! One of my top favorite scents in my collection! Sophisticated, clean and sexy. It gives me the feeling of lightness. It is as pure as dangerous. Very long lasting and strong.
The bottle is beautiful and very suitable to the fragrance!

    I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this perfume, it’s my favorite!
I went to Sephora a few years back and tested it on my hand and could NOT stop smelling it. It is the most amazing, sexy and creamy jasmine/orange blossom I’ve ever smelled and it lasted on my skin until the next day (rare for me!).
I knew I HAD to have it!!!
Luckily, I found a reasonably priced bottle on eBay and have been savoring it ever since.
It’s so special to me that I wore it on my wedding day. I usually only wear it on special occasions but I think I might be wearing it a little more often this fall because it’s just so beautiful.
It is light, but powerful and just heavenly.
Love love love this scent. <3

  52. :

    4 out of 5

Hmmm, I guess this really depends on bottle & chemistry because this lasts and lasts on my skin. I’ll admit it’s a little linear, but I find it great to layer with, with Pure Poison being the star. I wore Pure Poison yesterday and smelled it for 12 plus hours. I even worked in the river last night from 6pm to 11pm, soaking wet, and smelled Pure Poison on my drive home at midnight. Haha. It’s almost laughable that this seemingly “pure” perfume is able to persist through the smell of fish and last through thorough immersions in water. I must add that I was pulling in a 300 foot net, sorting, measuring, and counting various fish species. Haha, sorry didn’t want to just leave the fish thing in the air. I can’t understand the lack of longevity, but everyone experiences things differently

  53. :

what an amazing, creamy, rounded and fine scent that lasts 10 minutes! Good job Dior, go ahead with the killer reformulations. Someday, no one will buy you again. Try Pure Poison Elixir. Closer to the milky vintage bottle with white cap and don t throw your money for this joke.

  54. :

    4 out of 5

PLEASE try to find an OLDER vintage than 2001 or so– you won’t be sorry!
I found an old bottle of the shower gel from the 1990s — and even the friggin’ shower gel is better that what passes for watery-Pure Poison today!
Dior; you never stop- do you?!

  55. :

    3 out of 5

Pure Poison is a big mixture of absolute joy and shameful disappointment.
I purchased this second hand, for a good price and I’m glad I did – I would never pay full price for it. I got a 2008 bottle, and it’s so beautiful.
The juice inside, however, is very shortlived. Or, at least, appears to be. It opens very unusually and very much like something one could expect from the Poison line. Strong gardenia and jasmine.
Something special… if it lasted longer

  56. :

Im not going to lie this one disappointed me a little. It is a perfectly lovely floral perfume but.. I expect a certain uniqueness when it comes to Dior perfumes. Also I dont see the link with the other perfumes in the poison line.

I agree, I hate most Olivier Polge’s craps (including all you have mentioned above except Armani Code) too. However, i still sound this one pleasant enough. Not my favorite for sure, but one of the very few Olivier Polge’s work that doesn’t turn my stomach.
Fan of OP’s work or not, this dude knows how to make it rain…No, not for you, for the fragrance manufactures of course!

  58. :

    5 out of 5

This gave me a headache and I had to scrub it off. im sick of the god awful fragrances Olivier Polge has been coming out with. I mean he did flowerbomb, la vie est belle, Armani code… the only one of those I might wear is Armani code and that would not be for anything special… it’s disgraceful what he has done with Chanel with no 5 l’eau and now that watery crap that lasts like all of 5 minutes they had the nerve to call Gabrielle. I know flowerbomb has a huge following as well as la vie est belle but they are terribly pedestrian and not at all classy. And this pure poison- it just smells like teen spirit!! On steroids.

  59. :

  60. :

    5 out of 5

I find this one to be the best of the poison range ,it’s a lot more woody and less intense!
Good silage and longevity ,can pick out its floral notes better than the original ,I find this to be a lot more fresh throughout and heightened and noticeable sandalwood aroma

  61. :

    3 out of 5

I like it a lot, to me its a fresher, more soapy version of the old one. The first one was more original thought, but heavy and intense, ok for the 80 I guess. This one suits better for younger people. A modern washed version, for lighter times. I love how it smells of sweet white flowers but is still fresh and clean, its a very nice combination. But I dont consider it particulary sexy . It lasts on my skin, which is a lot to say for me.
Sorry for the english, Im from Argentina.

I purchased this from fragranceheaven.com.au & freshfragrance.com.au (same biz). First, it didn’t smell anything like the original old version. I returned it. So so turns out freshfragrance.com.au is owned by the same person. Quality was no good. Fake fragrances. Just buy from Myer
So so I realised it’s been re-formulated which did no good for the longevity & that beautiful old scent- changed changed. What’s going on? Bring back the old expensive quality.

Smells a lot like Noa by Cacharel. Or should I say Noa smells like Pure Poison.
Both are warm, creamy but clean soapy white florals. Not crispy clean.
My nose much prefers Dior’s version over Cacharel’s.
Both smell like super expensive soaps.

When I fell in love with Hypnotic poison EDP in 2015, I decided to test all the poison line and Pure poison is the last one I got my hands on. It’s a very light clean SOAPY white floral perfume. On my skin, I get a huge amount of orange blossom and gardenia and very little Jasmine, which is a shame because it makes this perfume too shy and clean for my taste. At the same time, I hate soapiness in perfumes and pure poison does have a lot of that indeed!
It’s suitable for day wear in the summer. It’s as sophisticated as an airy white scent can get without turning into a powerhouse.
It’s great quality and it flows very well which is surprising for such a light scent. It just makes me wish it was less soapy and had a lot of Jasmine! I’m sure I would have adored it.
In my opinion Pure Poison is a very proper, nice, clean, shy and unfortunately, boring lady. It’s a “Good Girl” without any twist, at least that’s what I get from it. I really don’t feel it belongs in the poison line, but I suppose they wanted to have something for everyone and every season. I personally rate this perfume 4/10.

Late to the party here, as this is the first Poison flanker I’ve tried.
I wore the original Poison as a teenager and although I still regard it as a masterpiece, the smell is SO associated with that time in my life I just can’t bear to wear it again – and this in turn has put me off trying any of the flankers.
What can I say? Big mistake. Huge! This is glorious. Its like I dreamed of the perfect sexy, narcotic white floral and Dior made it for me. The gardenia in this is perfect – pure and heady, not the screechy headache-inducing variety. The jasmine is present but not too loud. The orange blossom is slightly bitter and stops it being too intensely sweet-floral. The dry down is soapy and mellow.
Interesting that its a flanker for Poison. The notes are completely different, but the similarity is that signature hypnotic, opiate vibe.
Enchanting, intoxicating and a new firm favourite!

I had a new version of pp and now I managed to get the one with a white top. Despite it can be a bit over dated I think I’m still able to notice basic difference between those two. The old pp is creamier while the new version is… Happy. It’s not like they are totally different but surprisingly I like the new one better. I thought it was me, but years ago I tried the old version and then I thought that it was not for me while after years I ended up having purple top. Maybe I’m one of those lucky persons who like the modificated pp more:)

Gang I want to strongly urge you to check the date of your bottle. If its over 5 years it disintegrates into a really white musk dominated scent with little floral so make sure you find the freshest bottle available.

2015 batch is lighter than 2010, yes, it has similar vibe but very balsamic because of citrusy notes, white floral is there in very bright floral, so meaning-citrusy note took over the flowery notes too much, i can’t sense white floral too much as 2010 batch, (so unfair – where is PURE POISON of floral?)by the way, this new batch of Pure Poison is easy to wear, 2015 batch is definitely light version of Pure Poison, modern-classic, youthful, but still sexy vibe, longevity is moderate.

Clean, elegant scent. Very creamy and feminine, white flowers are predominant, mostly gardenia. But gardenia here is very well behaved, not intoxicating and agresive. The key word here is elegance.
Kill ’em with kindness, like a song says.
Longevity is excelent – good eight hours and I can still feel the scent, projection – medium, which is the best for this type of scents.
Good option for almost any season (well, not the wildest, coldest winter), day or night.
    Perfection and simplicity.

Smelled this on a friend and thought it was one of the best things I ever experienced. Had to own it as well. I don’t find it sweet, it’s clean and feminine. Smells expensive and elegant.

I don’t know why this was released as a flanker of Poison, because it hardly bears any similarity to its flagship fragrance. This is a very soapy and powdery white floral, with jasmine as the dominant note, closely followed by gardenia and orange blossom. Even the citrusy opening is very subtle and not at all sharp. I find it quite similar to Anais Anais in the beginning, but then PP dries down to a lovely, creamy sandalwood. The entire composition is all about pure femininity. Personally I prefer sharper and spicier scents, but I can appreciate this beauty.

    Floral class at its best!
A touch of woody notes only adds to the enchant of this frangrance.
Demure, sensual and at the same innocent (ah, that orange caress!), the white flowers here are comparable only to a satin gran soire’ dress.
    Simply magical.
Sillage on me 5/5 to the point I only spray it once every two days. It won’t leave me not even after shower!
It is not overwhelming, actually I was very surprised by the lightness of it.
Doesn’t smell at all like “an old lady”. But maybe what some mean here is that older ladies can pull off wearing it? Not suitable for anyone below 30, most definitely this is a “mature” scent for a seasoned woman.
    Absolute delight!

Pure poison is the fifth one in the poison line that I added to my collection and I didn’t think I’d do so.I had tried it three or four years ago and didn’t like it at all but lately I bought Jesus del pozo in white, which is known as a dupe for pure poison and liked it,so when someone offered a half full bottle of pure poison for a swap,I decided to give it a go
It’s my first wear of pure poison and while I can’t say I love it,I believe it has potential to turn to a love for me.I like it and I’m very happy with this swap
Pure poison is a white floral and opens with a burst of white floral blended with fresh orangey citrus notes.yes,it’s large amounts of Jasmine in it,but it’s not just about Jasmine like alien or ck beauty.they’re other flowers too(orange flower and gardenia)hand in hand with Jasmine.I couldn’t like it as much as I do,if it was all about Jas
