Smells just like Aventus cut and dry. As simple as it gets

    A slightly dryer Aventus.

I love the pineapple and freshness of this frag, it’s very nice. Fair longevity and sillage, wish it was stronger. 4 sprays lasts 2 maybe 3 hours after that just a faint skin smell. Spraying on clothing seems to last longer. Love the design of the bottle and their logo/crest. In terms of Aventus, Nero actually has a stronger pineapple emphasis, so I’ll respray at hour 3 and enjoy this frag as one of my top go-tos

It opens,, green. Huh? Green! Despite all the lush fruity notes and ‘Aventus clone’ listed above, this is a very weird, almost designer in quality opening that the 1st reviewer has described virtually 100% head on. Very well described!
However, I love pineapple when done well , like yes, Aventus and this certainly is *not like that Masterpiece!
There is totally no ‘richness’, fullness or that addictive hint of sweet the lushness fizzy ‘pop’ all those famous French fruits give you in the blockbuster,, this is by comparison tame, watered down and vanilla replaced by grass and some figs even?
I don’t Aventus is totally perfect myself, the pineapple there is still a bit too raw / green but what is lacks there is made up by is ridiculous authenticity.
Very disappointing – stick with the Real deal or if you’re after smokeless, go for Cedrat Boise

This is a better version of Aventus without the ash tray smoke effect.::)))

If you don´t get the similarities with Aventus something is really wrong with your nose… As fuggerone says, this is nothing but a faulty Aventus clone… Don’t even try to smell it. Look somewhere else…

I don’t get the similarities to Aventus at all, which is surprising given the note similarities. This is a sharp, citrusy, bergamot heavy juice, that mixed with the patchouli and pineapple almost gives off a peppery pine vibe. It’s citrusy and vegetal, not fruity and woody. It’s fine and natural smelling but not something I’d purchase a full bottle of.

Deadidol nails the review below perfectly. Just to echo those sentiments about Aventus being a perfume which has made the pineapple note famous and therefore a comparison we can’t help but draw. Nero is more effervescent, fizzing out of the bottle and right into your face with a sharper citrus feel, evoking a lemonade ice lolly or sherbet fizz. There’s definitely more focus on the pineapple and berries here and less on woods and crucially… no smoke.
To give Creed and Mazzolari some credit I think this is a very masculine smell and this one is of good quality and something is coming through in Nero to tone down the fruit.
This release is relatively redundant to me as I have Aventus and clones but it maybe for someone who likes the pineapple of Aventus without the birch smoke?
I remarked this was quality stuff but unfortunately it doesn’t last.

Although Aventus doesn’t have the monopoly on pineapple, it’s hard not to think of it when you smell another pineapple perfume. Sometimes there’s a large enough gap to strike a distance between them, but it’s rare. Mazzolari Nero is heavy on the pineapple and the berry notes, and as the result, it smells like a marginally fruitier take on Aventus. It’s bright and sweet with a slightly scratchy synthetic base, and overall it smells like tropical smoothie sans dairy. Even if parallels could be drawn with scents beyond Aventus (it’d be a stretch), it just doesn’t smell very good, and I see no point in it existing. Thankfully, it doesn’t perform well and becomes a limp vetiver within an hour. Merciful, really.

Now that a full bottle has gone, I can finally say this scent is an Aventus faulty clone, poor sillage and duration, was good to be worn as skin scent while sleeping…
