This one I like the most out of all three ;o) It has a great floral part that I enjoy very much. It also a nice woody, almost gourmand, slightly animalic, and still very masculine.

I received a sample with my Parfums Retro order labeled “Herb – Man” and I assume this is the fragrance that was inside, as it’s the only alternative to Grand Cuir and Santal Superbe. So correct me, Jeffrey, if I’m wrong but this review is for Herb Man AKA Sous Bois (?)
Starting off with coumarin not unlike Santal Superbe, this quickly develops into a mossy and woody haven. Clean herbs and dusty resins greet the nose, along with the tiniest resemblance of dill. This is a very natural, fresh and invigorating scent, but it is more a feeling than a perfume. I feel bathed, clean, and at peace- but not like I’m wearing a masterpiece of perfumery. Some people love exactly what I’m talking about, but I am left longing for a bit more oomph.
