There is no perfume I have smelled that smells like this-which I enjoy for a change. It’s the perfect scent for the summer or spring or when it’s raining out. This perfume gives me the feel of walking in a dewy, damp forest. The silage is pretty good and the longevity is surprisingly super long.I put it on 12 hours ago and I can still smell it;it’s one of the longest times a perfume has stayed on me.You can’t go wrong with buying this fragrance it’s a safe blind buy.

Too bad it’s been discontinued. I bought this when it was still available on Ebay you guys might want to check if it’s still there. This is a modern Oriental fragrance with the lotus as the star of the show. Lotus flowers are hard to transfer into perfumery and I believe that it’s possible that they are fantasy scents and are chemically formulated to smell like a lotus, the way they do with camellia flowers and orchids. This is one of those flowers that in real life their scent is barely there or don’t really have a scent at all. When I smelled lotus in India it was mostly a green scent and very wet and fresh. This is why most lotus fragrances advertised as being Oriental contain aquatic notes and aldehydes. This is what you get here. In order to recreate a lotus pond this fragrance has aldehydes and water. Smells very fresh when you first spray it on your skin. Once the watery aldehydes wear off, the floral notes appear. You smell a fantasy lotus, a little peony and rose, some white floral scents, possibly a magnolia freesia or a light jasmine scent. There are also green notes, some woodsy notes, amber, musk and vanilla. The progression takes it’s sweet time which is what I love about this perfume. It smells like really good air freshner or room fragrance to scent your home with, but at the same time it’s also wearable as a perfume on your skin. I can detect the amber, musk toward the end, and the sweet vanilla. This is such an exotic, and beautiful fragrance. It reminds me of the lotus ponds I saw in India. It smells more like an Asian garden than the Nile river. It’s like a soothing Oriental garden with water lilies and lotus. I would even say that this fragrance totally matches up with Monet’s Water Lilies paintings. Check out this fragrance on ebay or Amazon.com. The price was high when I bought it and it cost me over 100 bucks at the time and I remember not wanting to pay that price for what I thought would be a really sweet and simple floral scent but what you get is an expensive smelling, very rare modern Japanese style scent of lotus flowers and vanilla. Absolutely unique and very green, very floral, and almost as real as the actual thing, thanks to the magic of perfumery.

On my skin it opens with a sour note, almost like lemon, which is not listed. Then it settles into a light soft and fresh scent, with musk and wood that give a nice base to the floral and aquatic notes. The aquatic notes, although clearly present, are not nauseating as they sometimes can be but blend nicely to make a fragrance that smells like the freshness of early morning. It reminds me of this time of day before the first rays of sun, when the light is blue and gray, the air is clean and fresh and everything is moist with dew.
A nice fresh yet calm fragrance, with soft sillage. The bottle is very nice too but slightly different from the picture here – on my bottle the outer leaves of the lotus are white and the inner are clear.

Never heard of such a fragrance or brand…but it sounds absolutely divine
I wonder if they sell this in Europe or Africa…or more in the Asian countries…

Elegant simplicity. The lotus blossom sways quietly
on it`s lily pad bed, as ripples of water dance in
the sunlight. The woodsy undertone keeps this grounded
so the watery notes are not too transparent.Vanilla
adds a faint creamy quality, so notes are not pulled
    randomly,very well blended.Nature at its best,contained
in one beautiful bottle!A light clean woodsy floral,I
    love it!

Today is raining and I receive the elusive perfume Hinlay from Lorelyane . As soon as i take the cellophane paper out you could smell the perfume already. Once I open the box it smell very nice fresh and floral.
Well if I close my eyes it like your in a lush park in front of a lotus pond on a misty morning siting on a wooden bench waiting for stoning wonderful to append.
It is not a invasive but present sent and pleasantly balance. The bottle WOW it is very nice the top is slightly different probably do to some photoshop but it is style very nice.
To me it a perfect perfume for the rainy or cloudy days or if you like something light and elegant for a special event it is perfect. I will come back to you for the longevity on the perfume a other time.

This must be the loveliest bottle I’ve ever seen! I wish I could try this out to see if the scent was anything compared to the bottle. I’ve never seen it anywhere or heard of it before tho.
