Vanilla is missing from the base, here the list from the official site:
HEAD: Pink pepper, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla
HEART: Vetiver root, cedar wood, guaiac wood
BOTTOM: Absolute vanilla Mexico, hazelnut, cocoa
On my skin is a mix between Annick Goutal “Vanille Chernelle” (without the smoke note) and “Vaniglia Piccante” from Erbario Toscano (without the patchouli + labdanum notes), nice but doesn’t worth a full bottle for the price

    Burned woods.
Burned Woods, slight cloves, cedar, balsamic, nutmeg and more of burned woods. Some fake wooden oud, and no hazelnuts! maybe hazelnuts shells yes but no core hazelnut, even the cacao, i just can’t detect it because of the dozes of burned woods.
It should’ve been named the “heart of vanilla” it should be named the burned vanilla, as i really wonder how people voted for vanilla to be the top note! there is no dominant vanilla! just burned woods, cloves, cedar, wood, and maybe later slight tiny sweetened vanilla, but not a dominant vanilla!
It’s not bad, it’s just not as it should be! the notes says this is kind of gourmand, while it’s spicy woody.
    Fair after all.

This is amazing stuff. I was borderline bored with everything vanilla until I was given a sample of this, now I feel that this is the only vanilla I need.
Deep, rich and smokey vanilla. Not much more can be added really. I love how it’s not very sweet on my skin, vanilla has a tendency to get cloying and sickly sweet, but the wood and spices keeps it more dry if that makes sense.

This is such an amazing fragrance- the light spiciness makes it a much more complex scent, and sexy, rather than girly-sweet like a lot of vanillas. Nevertheless, this vanilla is a more soft, fluffy sort rather than a thick deep type. Which is why the spice is so good, and takes it from what would be a sweet, innocent perfume to a more grown up one.
The wood and spice evolves to be a bit stronger after the initial floof of the vanilla. Personally I can’t pick out the exact wood and spice notes- it’s a non-specific spicy depth to my nose… well, maybe the nutmeg a bit, but it definitely doesn’t sticky out (or make the whole thing smell like egg nog). It goes a bit creamier over time too. Despite the spice/vanilla mix it isn’t just another super sweet gourmand. The gestalt is more sexy and interesting than most (though don’t get me wrong, I do love that category of scent!)
It was one of those perfumes that struck a huge chord with me- absolutely gorgeous and unique. I adore the bottle! The rounded bottom is so different- it just balances on the curve quite neatly and the glass lid is a nice touch.
It isn’t overpowering or heavy whatsoever. You aren’t going to irritate others who are sensitive to fragrance, IMO. It’s definitely the type that lingers close to the skin and invites, rather than announces. It lasts quite well; all day. But yeah, it really is soft, I have a co-worker who also loves perfume and she couldn’t smell it on me at arms length, freshly applied. It is definitely a skin scent. However anytime I hug someone while wearing this, I’ve gotten a compliment on it!

Nice take on vanilla indeed. However, if you are expecting the chocolatey smell, could be disappointing. To me this smells like a nutty vanilla, with the woody support gaiac and cedar. Strong from the very first spray. Vanilla with sawdust. I believe men could wear it just as much.
It reminds me of PG’s Praline de Santal yet, this one does not give you a toothache and nut-allergies 🙂
Recommended for those who go nuts for nuts 😀

2)The best vanilla ever. This is the vanilla sun dried, the smell of skin coated small black seeds when you are cooking over a wood oven.
We could summarize that it is a mixture of smoke and vanilla but it is also much more than that. It is in this smoldering precious woods and nuts delicious.
Finally a vanilla man, portable for all occasions and especially beautifully elegant, away from vulgarity (pink, girly, sugar, …).
    To buy eyes closed.
