It’s delicious, it’s delightful, it’s delovely.
As a sweets-and-gourmands sceptic, I still adore this beautiful scent … it’s got just enough grunt and dirt (and great heaping spoonfuls of cinnamon) to let it stay bewitching without ever cloying. This is an adult pleasure, not a kids’ dessert. The pyramid above might make you think it’s a sticky, syrupy, overwhelmingly rich, but no – it’s terribly classy (just as well as it’s also horribly expensive) and seductive. The dates, right in the middle of things and the lead of the chorus line, are certainly sticky and fudgy, but always somehow natural enough – with notes of green and wood and life – to seem charming and natural. Cinnamon and cistus add in just enough dusty, herbal notes to keep things honest.
So – an unqualified love! This is what Zoologist’s Camel aspires to be, I think. Surprisingly good longevity (I kept getting unexpected wafts throughout a day and kept deliberately sniffing myself to check it was as good as I thought it was – confirmed, every single time… projection’s not massive, but I still got delicious puffs of distant dates as far as 9-10h in, almost unheard of on my skin) and a really rounded, solid feel to it overall. I could only ever afford this via a decant or a used partial bottle, but my good g’gosh it’s lovely.

I can’t believe there’s no tobacco in it! Reminds me a lot of Diptyque’s Volutes edp. Pretty mesmerizing… Sweet but not in a sickening way. I love the bottle minus the cap 😀

Sugar, honey, & cinnamon coated dates with vanilla sandalwood flavor punch.
It’s more of a honey, sugar, and cinnamon than dates, with bits of peony, and lapdanum. I can’t detect any caramel.
It’s fair and definitely not a ground breaking.

Although a sweet fragrance with dates and honey in there, this is not a cloying sweet and the tonka bean balances it for a very well done, classy fragrance. The ingredients are balnaced just right. This is not one I’d wear on the office. Great longevity and sillage and the bottle is a keeper for sure.

A way less sophisticated and smart Ambre Narguille with some elements from Lutens’ Arabie (but also nowhere near as avant garde as Arabie when it was launched).
Dates delight is a sweet, soft, pleasing fragrance. However the existence of the aforementioned two masterpieces makes it redundant. The bottle though is a piece of art.

The initial blast is simply divine! Boozy spicy sweet and RICH—not what I expected from dates! Initially my favorite from the line, but fades and becomes too soft :/

OH MY GOODNESS!! This is the DIABEETUS in a bottle. Dates Delight is as sugary as it gets, with more sugar sprinkled on top of that. Upon spraying, you’re hit with the whole baker’s isle; vanilla, caramel, sugar, dates, honey, cinnamon. Dates Delights sucks you into the center of Gourmand Galaxy and spits you back out just as quickly. What’s left after the first 10 minutes is a cinnamon-honeyed-vanilla aroma, not diabetes sweet, but enough to satisfy any sweet tooth. There’s something amber-y holding the sweeter notes at bay, which resembles Carolina Herrera’s Amber Desire. While there are dates, amber, and vanilla in both, this is no labdanum queen, the syrupy-fruity accords bludgeon all other contenders for the spotlight. Again, I understand this is 2017 and politically correctness is trending, but “for women and men” is a bit misleading. I like this one, nonetheless.

دِیتس دیلایت قابل تحمل تر از سایر عطرهای این برنده. تا حدودی هم از بوش خوشم اومد. اما مشکل اساسی من با عطرای این برند اینه که در همون نیم ساعت نخست؛ هرچه که دارن رو ارائه میدن و بعد از اون حرف خاصی برای گفتن ندارن. بخوام مثبت نگر باشم برداشتم از عطرای این برندا اینه که با ظاهرسازی به شما میگن که: لطفا ما رو بخرید.
عطر با حالتی انیمالیک، خشک و خاکی باز میشه که شیرینی ظریف و نرم کم رمقی در پس این فضا هست. به مرور این شیرینی نرم و لطیف بالاتر میاد و در کنار فضای خاکی- اسپایسی قرار میگیره تا از همون اول بگه که با یه عطر تونکای-دارچینی مواجه هستیم. کارامل و وانیل این بوی شیرین رو نرمتر و لذیذ میکنن و عسل و دارچین، حس اسپایسی- خاکی و انیمالیک رو عمیق تر میکنن. دِیتس دیلایت؛ تونکای دارچینی و شیرینه که با حالتی خیس و کثیف پشت سر فضای اصلی به جریان میفته و بعد از چند دقیقه در فضایی دودی، که کمرنگ و کمی تلخه ادغام میشه تا سر انجام دِیتس دیلایت؛ تونکای خاکی، شیرین و کمی دودی باشه.
مزیت این عطر به دیگر عطرای این برند؛ موندگاری بالا و پخش قابل قبوله و البته نمایشی بهتر که بیشتر از نیم ساعت طول میکشه.
