Our fragrance is inspired by the age-old tradition of using botanical extracts to repel insects, a practice first documented by ancient Roman, Greek, and Indian scholars and is still common throughout tropical regions worldwide. Aromaflage also contains nourishing Vitamin E, recognized for its restorative properties and protective anti-oxidants, helping to fortify the skin against damaging elements of the outdoors. Free of DEET, chemicals, and parabens.

This is actually a great fragrance–can’t believe it is also an insect repellent! It starts off with a creamsicle vibe, and remains slightly sweet, but still more of a fresh skin scent overall. The vanilla, citrus and cedar wood essential oils are a harmonious blend and smell more complex than you would imagine from just three notes. I will be purchasing a full bottle for an upcoming trip to a friend’s lakeside cabin. No reason not to smell great even while camping!
EDIT: After a full day of wear, I did count five tiny mosquito bites. We were outside pretty much all day, so that might have been what I would have ended up with using Off, AND I did wasn’t necessarily generous in applying since I only had a small sample, so I would say it’s still better than using no insect repellant at all. Granted, my husband found it funny that he was wearing nothing and managed to get ZERO bites. I told him I like to think I’m just sweeter 😛
