There is no doubt this has Declaration to thank for it’s inspiration. In fact, you could sum this up as a Zara clone of Declaration…meaning it retains the main notes but doesn’t have the complexity.
But it is a bit more than that…it isn’t as spicy or complex as Declaration, but seems to use more Iso-E Super than Declaration.
I’ll do some side by side comparisons as I am a Declaration junkie.
EDIT: I did a side by side comparison. The Origin is less spicy and has more citrus and cedar (due to the Iso-E Super). In Declaration the spices are more pronounced..namely the cumin, ginger, and cardamom, and a leather accord is detectable.
If the spiciness and cumin of the Declaration line turns you off, take a look at The Origin. If you want something a little more unisex that tones down the cedar but retains the ginger, look at the excellent Zizonia by Penhaligon’s

It´s very very close to Declaration from Cartier, I think just a LITTLE bit “modern”.
In the same way Declaration, Dunhill Icon and this Tous 1920.
Orangie, woody, fresh, green.
I prefer Dunhill because it doesen’t have that woody note that to my nose smells like a pencil.
Longevity 8/10
Sillage 8.5/10 } Not to good for an eau de parfum
Smell 8.5/10
For me it’s a good fragance.

The dry down on this was mighty fine and it actually is quite unique. Nothing smells exactly like it even if some parallels can be made. The cumin is interesting and quite apparent which to my Western nose is a bit much and is reminiscent of BO but because it is offset by other notes and then dries down into something that smells so nice, I still enjoy this fragrance.
Update: This smelled great on paper. Smells decent on skin several hours later but imo a little much cumin.

one of the best smelling fall fragrance, with nostalgic vibe for me its better than most top rated fragrances like tom ford oud wood, la nuit de lomme or even parfums de marly herod…. raing 10/10

Bought by my girlfriend last night after she found out i am into fragrance collection. The opening is has a strong sweet ginger.. after few minute a soft aroma of powderish tea start to sift in. After that, talcum like powder is the last dry down. A good try for EDP release.

Dün Sevil de denedim. Şişesi güzel.
Açılışı yoğun bir odunsu baharatlı olarak başladı.Açıkçası heyecanlandım güzel bir şey ortaya çıkacak diye. Fakat 15 dk sonra parfüm oturup asıl karakteri ortaya çıkınca şaşırdım kaldım. Çünkü bileğime sıktığım koku Déclaration Cartier in kopyası.
Hayal kırıklığı yaşadım açıkçası.Saatler geçtikçe de aynı şekilde devam etti.
Yayılımı ve kalıcılığı iyi. Fakat neden aynı kokuların benzerleri üretilir anlamış değilim.
Gerçi tutan bir strateji. Geçen ay çıkan 1 Million ve Del Pozo Halloween Man arası uyduruk bir koku olan Emporio Armani Stronger With You çok satıyormuş diye duydum.
Demekki aynı koku farklı markalar olunca aradan zaman geçince tutuyor.
Ama benim için geçerli değil bu.
Déclaration tarzı kokulardan hoşlananlar deneyebilir.
