Description

It’s all about sex really. Some men are not afraid to admit this, and for them JOOP! has
conceived the ultimate aphrodisiac.

JOOP! Homme Extreme – for real men only –
Extremely provocative attitude
In 1989, JOOP! launched JOOP! Homme, a sensual and very masculine oriental perfume,
immediately recognizable by its daring pink juice. Throughout the years, it has remained a
symbol of seduction, the epitome of masculinity. Now, JOOP! has decided to go further by
creating a fragrance that evokes an ‘extreme’ physical sensation, taking you from seduction to
action.

JOOP! Homme Extreme is highly addictive, directly appealing to the female subconscious and
instantly summoning images of passionate embraces. Provocative and attractive, the JOOP!
Homme Extreme man is not afraid to be a pure and unadulterated male.

JOOP! Homme Extreme is an Oriental Spicy fragrance based on an unexpected blend of untamed
spices and luxurious woods. This concentrate of sensuality features a secret ingredient, at the
very core of the fragrance, the ‘hot skin accord’.
Deep and velvety black cocoa notes are the perfect counterpoint to this mysterious accord and are
used to express the intensity of the physical act of love. The patchouli base infuses a dimension
of sexiness, making it utterly addictive and addictive. Turning JOOP! Homme Extreme into a full
and sensuous experience.

The JOOP! Homme Extreme flacon is an intense interpretation of bottle for the iconic JOOP!
Homme. The pink glass has turned to deep purple, alluding both to the intensity of the fragrance
and to its nocturnal quality. The X logo is explicit; the neon glow speaks for itself. It is a direct
and unashamed promise of delicious things to come.

The red hot print ad was shot by renowned fashion photographer Nathaniel Goldberg. It portrays
the sensual embrace of Justice Joslin, the irresistible professional football player turned model,
along with supermodel and DJ Dasha Malygina. Once again, Joop! breaks the codes presenting a
provocative and surprising advertising campaign fully centered on the pleasure that the male
fragrance exerts on a woman. Dasha’s passionate gaze and sensuous abandon perfectly illustrate
the power of a man wearing JOOP! Homme Extreme. Through her eyes, one can almost feel the
irresistible effect of the fragrance.

Joop! Homme Extreme was launched in 2014.

One of my favorites. Chocolate and Patchouli. Hard to go wrong. Its long lasting and projection is close to skin. An excellent choice for nighttime wear.

WOW! This was a blind buy risk that actually paid off big-time!I LOVE this scent!I’ve read the reviews here and I can agree with most pro & con,but for my nose this is a awesome fragrance,it wears well on my skin and got a compliment from my room-mate on the 1st spray!I won’t go fragrance break down other to say it is sweet and peppery and sexy AF!JOOP EXTREME is my new #1 frag and I have many other viable choices. If you can smell before buying I would just to make sure it is a scent you’d want on you all day,but if not I’d doubt you’d be disappointed. A very Sexy Nectar would be my keywords for Joop Extreme!

On recommendation I traveled out one evening to sample this Joop!
Onto the arm it was applied and off for a chat went I.
Ten minutes later I take my first true hit and am left baffled. Seriously? All this way for damp musky mould ridden leather overloaded with bitter dark chocolate and rancid patchouli.
No doubt my nose is suffering from some ailment so I give it another ten minutes. OMG! Second time around I got the distinct feeling that somebody had substituted the Joop and that what I had actually sprayed upon myself was hydrogen sulfide from the joke shop.
The smell did not get better.
Awaiting the opportunity to try this again simply because nothing could be that bad.

Equal parts bathroom spray and candy. Not overly offensive but not something I would think anyone would want to smell like.

  8. :

    4 out of 5

It opened with the impression of an aerosol/pesticide followed by the original’s DNA. Don’t waste your time pass.
p.s: it smell waaaaaay weaker than Joop Homme.

    Sweet, sweeter, Joop homme extreme.
This Joop is a very sweet syrup.
Not very similar to the original Joop homme, but still delicious.

I’ve never ever in my whole life smelled such a bubble gum smelling perfume!
It exactly smells like BUBBLE GUM!
I have no clue what it has to do with Joop! Homme – I guess nothing at all, or why is it Extreme in any ways?
Still, even that somehow it could easily be a cheaper brand’s product or a celebrity fragrance for it’s not sophisticated at all, I… I like it! 😀
Yes, shamefully I like it 🙂

  11. :

I only like original Joop! Homme no other then that, because it smelles nice and longevity is also more then perfect for EDT version…Cheap and good…Aftershave Joop! Homme are also last long…

I hate that Joop! gets such a panning from Frag snobs. If you’re looking for projection and longevity, look no further. It pretty much appears in every Top 10 projection list for High Street frags i’ve seen, and the ‘Extreme’ and ‘Wild’ variants definitely have appeal over the rather ubiquitous original. The ‘Extreme’ version is a fun, well-blended scent for the 18-30 range. Definitely a more social scene scent as opposed to office / date night stuff. I like it, and its not over-priced like some of the other under-performing tat you’ll find on the high street.
    Have a nice day!

Beautifully blended fragrance. This juice is subtle yet alluring. Versatile, can be worn both in the winter and hot summer..Word of caution though : it can get a little cloying, so you douse yourself with this juice in extreme heat, it’s bound to make you sick and the people around you. A couple of sprays on the pulse points, you’re good to go…

  15. :

Joop Homme Extreme is relying Extremely on the marketing than the smell itself. All those promises of women & sex makes one think this is a pheromone.
This is a less sweet, spicier variation of the Joop Homme.
Still treading on the unisex side with its lightness & sweetness, but you’ll like it if you like the original Joop Homme.
I’m not impressed at all but I never liked the original that much in the 1st place.
    Still a decent fragrance.

Do you know that type of kid who is the spitting image of his father, but everyone insists that looks more like his mother? So, that’s exactly the case of this scent. Joop! Homme Extreme looks more like Joop! Homme Wild (2012), than with the original Joop! Homme (1989).
It was created under the concept of extreme physical sensation, which makes that man goes from the seduction straight to the action. Its composition also follows the current templates, more simplistic, whose result is achieved through a reduced mix of accords. In the output, dark cocoa accord. In the heart, hot skin accord – which was released as a secret ingredient – containing exotic spices, in addition to leather nuances. Finally, in the base, sexy patchouli accord (containing nuances of sensual and intense woods).
The result is even simpler than its composition, which is disappointing. For a fragrance that contains cocoa, leather and patchouli, it leaves much to be desired. When it touches the skin, promises a lot. But stop projecting in a few minutes and does not convince. It should never bear the weight of the Joop! Homme name, because it neither has the same strength, nor the quality.
It does not have great evolution and lasted, on my skin, for about 7 hours. It’s sold as an Eau de Toilette Intense, but does not deliver what promises. Obviously, for being a product of the Joop! Brand and still bring this kind of information, I created an expectation that it would be a bomb – as strong as the original – able to bring a new hope to the fans of this type of fragrance. I was wrong!
The bottle kept the visual identity of the line, receiving darker shades and an X-shaped neon. As it seems, unfortunately, they forgot to turn it on!

This is different from Joop Homme!! And i am agree with one reviewer that it can be named as Black/Nuit version for Joop Homme. Truly a party time fragrance.. wild and sexy.
Another kick for me… i get a hint of what Thierry Mugler launch of Alien’s male version could smell like. Definitely like this one!
Silage and Longevity is mediocre but not bad at all. But its not like other fragrances that people find safe, clean and generic to nose.
Its a different juice for people who dare!

  18. :

    5 out of 5

Firstly I don’t get the Extreme name, to me this is more a Joop Homme Nuit, it is very much a fragrance for the night. I can’t understand why all the negative reviews, I find this one pretty addictive. I struggle with the list of notes, for me the dominant aspect of this one is a kind of berry/cherry note. I get the cacao and the leather, but there is no patchouli on my skin, fragrance seems more complex to me. I’ve bought an extra bottle as I can’t see this one being around for ever and a day. Pretty nice.

  19. :

    3 out of 5

All the negatives things spoken about Joop! Homme, I talk about this crap called Joop! Homme Extreme.
But the original Joop! Homme have a great longevity and sillage. The Extreme version doesn’t.
    Pure tutti fruit gum smell.

I cannot find this in my area. Anyone who has this, I will swap pretty much anything in my collection for. huge Joop fan!!

I tried it once and do not have the courage to try it again.
I’m a big fan of joop but very disappointed this time.
I smell just leather and leather and leathe on this one
combination whit cacao and it really smells like a dead animal on Your skin
the smell sticks to your skin and goes Even worse with the dray down.
Really far away from the source

  22. :

    5 out of 5

Not very bad, but smells cheap and very close to One Man Show Ruby edition.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

Wow i cant understand why so many negative reviews.Joop homme extreme is by far the most refined scent joop has made.It combines a lot of scents to finally develop a more modern variation from the original joop.
As someone else said it sits somewhere the original and wild but it offers more that that.
It opens with a sweet aromatic scent,a combination between hot water and joop wild.Still NO sign of the original joop.
Then comes the best part.It slowly develops to a more dark variation of the original joop. Its a heavy, dark, cherry smell similar with azzaro elixir mixed with powdery touches. Its the best stage of the fragrance and it totally captures the feeling joop intended to give us with extreme.
Now this is where it gets tricky. In the last stages extreme gets a totally new direction. It smells like sweet mens aftershave like xeryus and rive gauche.Sooo complex scent.
If someone is looking something similar to the original joop will be dissapointed.I loved the original joop, still i think it revolutionized the frag industry back in the late 80s but things evolve so joop did.Did it have the impact original did?NO but still is as i said the most refined and complex scent joop has done..
Now the only bad i found in joop extreme is the longetivity which in my skin was 5 hours.A bit dissapointed with that…
    Overall score: 7/10

JPG and Joop should both shake hands with their flankers.
First let me say that this is not more extreme than Joop homme but rather an updated version of the original. It still sustains the DNA of the original but in a more modern variation.
To my nose it isn’t even gourmand anymore. I’d define it as just sweet.
This is something pornographic actors might wear.
Sorry, not my league. Away with thee!

  25. :

    4 out of 5

Tried this today.Nothing like the original Joop, which I love.
No sweetness and lasts just about 4 hours on my dry skin.
Smelled nothing like it,an artificial mess that made me feel sick. A combination of floor polish, toilet air freshener and bug spray.Just horrible and if it hadn’t faded so quickly would have needed to scrub it off.
The most unpleasant Joop fragrance so far.
    Avoid and keep your distance!!

  26. :

Similar to Joop! wild, but in weaker edition thats very funny because they called extreme, big disappointing:/

  27. :

    5 out of 5

This has a pleasant, albeit slightly commonplace spicy aroma of which we have seen a multitude others recently (Givenchy Play, Davidoff Hot Water, etc.). Longevity and sillage are reasonable. However the most notable points are as already said:
    1) it smells nothing like the original Joop! Homme (I’ll leave you to decide whether that is a good or bad thing); and
    2) in terms of longevity and sillage it is a pussycat compared to Homme’s TIGER making its moniker of “Extreme” seem rather facetious.

  28. :

    5 out of 5

    This is a bluff:
    1. It has absolutely nothing to do with Joop! Homme.
    2. This is absolutely not extreme at all, the original is much more extreme than this.

  29. :

    5 out of 5

I Dont understand why they called this extreme? The original joop homme is ten times more extreme than this. I found the sample I tested to be really weak, no silage or longevity.
The only way I can describe the smell of this is, plastic, which I couldn’t get over to try and pull anything else out of the note tree. I can’t see why anybody would want to smell like that. Don’t blind buy this one, try and get a sample.

Joop! Homme Extreme – not so extreme
    _______________________________________________________
I just went to a presentation of the new Joop! Homme Extreme (JHE) and to be honest, I don’t understand, where ‘Fragrantica.com’ got their information from.
From the presentation I’ve received, the fragrance is made of the following:
TOP NOTES: Bergamot, Orange blossom & Cumin
    MIDDLE NOTES: Cacao & Vetiver
BASE NOTES: Patchouli, Tonka beans, Sandalwood.
Since I love this site, I cannot hold it against them… erare humanum est.
Anyway, the scent is not as extreme as ‘Joop!’ (the Coty company) would want it to be, but it does last a good 6 hours.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

I wore this today, the scent sits somewhere in-between the original Joop Homme and Joop Homme Wild.
Unfortunately, the longevity and sillage is the worst out of all three.

  32. :

    3 out of 5

Very strong sweet floral fruity scent nothing like the original at all.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

This is just going to be a toned down modern version of the original with the name Extreme! Lets be honest, the original is already way to extreme for the modern day market..

  34. :

    5 out of 5

Joop has a extreme version LOL is the original release extreme enough i guess not. Its worth a try i guess.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

Wow, if the original wasn’t extreme enough I’m pretty scared about this one…

  36. :

This sounds interesting Wild really surprised me so I am not writing off extreme until I try it.

  37. :

  38. :

    3 out of 5

very interesting warm combination , waiting to try it !!! i still adore the very 1st edition only , so hope this will be a nice version of original joop

  39. :

    4 out of 5

Of course this was destined to happen!! I didn’t like Joop so I don’t know how to feel about this. It has leather, cocoa, and patchouli which I’m not sure what that has to do with the original anyway. What is up with all these flankers?

Joop! Homme Extreme Joop!
