A very sweet scent, feminine, accurately balanced in its many ingredients. To be worn in the spring, in full blast of vibrant, fruity chords. Delicious and very long lasting.

This smells exactly like Angel to me. And I mean exactly. I guess I should have paid more attention to the “smells like” notes before ordering a sample of this. I have the same problem with this that I have with Angel– it could conceivably be an OK scent if all that sour patchouli didn’t come in and ruin everything. Very sharp, acrid and overall nasty.
OK sillage and good longevity, for those that like this fragrance. (Isn’t that always the case with a scent you dislike– it last seems to last forever and ever..)

Surely patchouli+chocolate+vanilla+ red berries give the “Angel-vibe”, but it hasn’t the harsh patchouli note I love in TM’s perfume, and also keeps itself far from getting so sweet as Angel does.
Also, sillage is 1/5 of TM, evenif it stays 5-6 hours as skin-scent.
A pleasant fragrance, that stays many volume-tones down Angel, so I raccomend it to those who think TM’s is too loud.
Me, I always prefer extreme bordering experiences…

Call me crazy, I don’t think Jailia smells like Angel. It’s not that I’m trying to avoid comparison to other scents, and I find comparison extremely helpful when I read reviews. Nobody’s “wrong” about the perception of scent, of course! So I’m not trying to be contrary to the oodles of people who think Jailia smells like Angel,it’s just very different for me. I DO think Nirmala smells like Angel,Vanille Givree des Antilles and Nuits de Noho have certain top-notes in common with Angel, and even Prada Original brings Angel to my mind. (I have tried and tried to wear the iconic Angel. Angel smells amazing on my sister and my mother, but on me Angel is akin to tear-gas and platypus farts. Last time I bought Angel my husband threatened to go live in a tent in the backyard.) Jailia, on the other hand, smells almost edible. It has honey where Angel has (supposedly) caramel, and it has milk chocolate where Angel has guano-cacao bean. Jaila also has tropical fruit notes that add a clean zest, keeping it nicely balanced. If you love Ginestet Botrytis, Il Profumo Chocolat, or The Exact Friction of Stars, you’re going to want to try this. You can smell the high quality and formulation expertise in Jailia, and you won’t be able to keep your nose away from your own skin.

Unfortunately top and middle notes disappeared from my skin in no time. However, the extremely beautiful base with soft patchouli and amber is going to stay. I could recommend this one for a cold winter day (like today). There is only one “but”: I am strongly reminded of Sonia Rykiel woman (1997) and this means that although beautiful, this perfume is unfortunately not original…
