Inspired by the world as a source of beauty, The Body Shop has launched a captivating collection of immersive eau de parfum inspired by some of the planet’s most precious natural scents. Fragrances are created using non destructive “Headspace technology”. There are five fragrances in ELIXIRS OF NATURE collection launched in 2016: Bowhanti, Nigritella, Kahaia, Swietenia and Widdringtonia.
A woody aromatic mash up of Clanwilliam cedarwood, with a warm trail of sage and vetiver for an earthy sophistication. It takes you to the species’ spiritual home in South Africa’s Western Cape: a breath of fresh air, blown through wood, at the summit of the Cederberg Mountain range. Widdringtonia is unique and definitively edgy on a daring woman.

ehh..not for me. Too much cedar and it has to be that Artemisia note that doesn’t work with my chemistry. I smell the alcohol that they used in this and it burns my nose. I may use this as a linen spray because it does pack a punch.

This reminds me of a less complex SJP Stash. Lots of cedar and sandalwood, and it’s light enough to wear in the summer. I like it a lot.

Very fresh and clean, definitely unisex. The cedar note reminds me a lot of D&G Light Blue. I have tried all five in the Elixirs line and this is one of my favorite. On the skin it fades fast but last all day on clothing.

Just tried this, its very close to Terre D’Hermes. Its a bargain but probably a bit less complex, but hey, not bad.

This is a fragrance which smells really really green/ fig like compared to other more expensive ones. It smells expensive though.
I would compare this to that diptyque fig one…
I couldn’t make my mind up between about 3 in this range so will purchase them all!!!

Snift this @BS counter, and I like it very much. Similar with Yves Rocher Cuir Vetiver, sweet spicy vetiver.

This is my favorite perfume right now. It’s more of a elegant neutral fragrance. I’d wear it all day long and never get tired of the wonderful scent. The only drawback is that it doesn’t stay long and fades really fast comparing to other EDP and it’s way more expensive in Nordic than in the UK.

Oh, ok. This is an option for those who love *vegetal-green* and earthy scents in the Terre d’Hermes or even Eau Gentiane by Hermes family.
A *dill-note* along with the sage create a botanical cologne. This is not the seductive kind, not really vetiver-chic and something that frankly to me can sometimes feel like the smell your clothes get after cooking vegetables with herbs.
Don’t get me wrong, this can also be refreshing or nerve-calming on the right person. But it is kinda tricky, in the way those Hermes scents are.

This is a new perfume called “The Elixir Of Nature by body shop”. It comes in 5 different scent.
But I like this one better than the rest. This truly is successfully captured the nature scent well.
