For an Al Rehab, this is very faint and short lasting. I’m surprised and a little disappointed. It’s sweet and a tiny bit citrus-y, not the true rose I expected. There are lemon-rose smelling roses, but this doesn’t quite recreate that. I love roses but this isn’t a great one.

On my skin this smells like a cheap sweet, without any rose and too cloying for words, for 2/3 hours max when it disappeared. Sillage was soft.On my skin there is no rose at all.A real disappointment.

This on my skin smells like rose hip in full bloom, as if I had taken a handfull of fresh, pink petals and cupped them between my hands – a deep sniff, aaah! That clean, rosy smell, with ever so slightly hints of sour/bitter and sweet scents, typical of fresh rose petals! This is for me a very inoffensive and charming daytime scent, lastning unfortunately no longer than 2 hrs on me. Lovely two hours, though.

I did a buy 3 get 1 free on ebay and picked Cherry Flower as my free oil….got this instead. I was about to be upset but then I smelled it…. im so glad they messed up my order!
This is the type of rose ive been searching for. It’s sweet, musky, and it has depth. There’s also a slight sour fruitiness going on (raspberry/cherry?). It reminds me a lot of this L’occitane lotion I have (“Shea Butter Rose Heart Hand Cream”). I’m usually hesitant to buy rose fragrances because they can smell old and give me a headache but this is soooo smooth and inoffensive. Very shampoo-ish which I love.

Moroccan Rose is all about raspberries, roses, and white musk – at least on me. Opens with a nondescript citrus and a sour raspberry notes. Soon it warms up and reveals a heart of faintly fruity red roses and white musk. The dry down is mainly white musk and faint rose. It lasted about 2 hours on me. Projection was nil. After trying their “Full” perfume and being floored by how competently Al-Rehab can recreate a jasmine note, I was really hoping they could do the same with the rose note. Alas, this rose is not a living rose but rather a casual *idea* of a rose. However, it is quite feminine, pretty, and refreshing. Easy to toss into a bag in summer time and wear without bothering anyone. Some people mentioned that it resembles VS Sweet Temptation and rose scented shampoo and I agree with those comments. If that’s what you’re looking for, then this is a great and affordable option.

Rose, white musk, fruit, lily of the valley. Disappointed.

Update: I’ve had a chance to wear this all day and sadly, like many of the most beautiful fragrances of today, it doesn’t last. 3 hours max. The sillage (projection) dies down too after an hour. I’d have to keep reapplying which is never a good look.

I have at least 15 Al-Rehabs and after blind-buying Barhain Pearl was going to give up.
But THIS IS MY FAVOURITE AL-REHAB!! The first thing that came to mind was Stella McCartney’s rose fragrance except it is stronger.
Lovely clean, shampoo-ish aroma with the faintest hints of fruit, and a faint pleasant background of green tea.
I would describe the projection as heavy rather than enormous, but then it has been suggested that I have problems with my nose. I can just about smell a rosey cloud of gorgeousness around me which disappears every now and then and frequently wafts.
I’ve had this on for half an hour so I can’t yet say if it’s long lasting or not.
A lady-like fragrance ideal for young people (not to say that older women and today’s glam grans can’t wear it as well) in English springtimes, perhaps worm with a pink floral dress and pearls out to lunch with the girls. Or church on Easter Sunday. You get the idea.
Not for the built up macho man I wouldn’t have thought but then again, anything’s possible with people’s creativity.

I really like this rose I agree it’s definitely the most wearable and best rose of the bunch. I get a fruity rose myself though I do smell the musk too. I actually get an Apple rose almost like DKNY Be delicious fresh blossom. So I too think this is one of the more “western” scents. This and Soft would be my 2 most worn scents. I have Choco musk in the mail though as I’m a sucker for musk. Moroccan Rose is a great scent though it’s light and uplifting and very inoffensive in my opinion. I love these roll on’s because they really are inexpensive, smell good, and are the perfect size so this makes it a no brainer for me. Love!

This is surprisingly fruity as many others have noted, and I also agree that this fragrance almost smells like a floral body wash or shampoo. This perfume is pretty and dainty, but I feel as though the rose might actually be overshadowed by some of the other more sweet notes.
Also, I’ve never tried the Sweet Temptation fragrance by VS but I can imagine that this is very similar to what it smells like because VS fragrances are usually fruity-florals.
All in all, not really what I was expecting but still pretty and definitely a bargain.

Within 10 seconds of my first application I knew I had smelt this scent before…some victoria’s secret scent came to mind, from my junior high days. I remembered how my brother’s lady also wore this. Then it came to me! This smells just like Sweet Temptation by Victoria`s Secret which has long been discontinued. I still have a old body mist back in my cabinet from who knows when lol. This is a close enough dupe for me to wear it with joy. I will be layering this with my other Rose fragrances this summer. I feel like I found a hidden pearl. It may not measure up for some to be considered a “gem”, but to me it is a delicate pearl of a fragrance.

Very pleasing and bright citrus rose. I smell fresh lemon, green apple, rose, pear, some water notes, and a light, white musk. There is a faint rose, enough to justify the name Moroccan Rose, but mostly this is a fresh scent, nicely blended and summery. Not as strong as most Al Rehabs.
A good, work-safe freshy! Like a lovely shampoo. If you are a little afraid of heavy rose scents, and would like a light one, this is your rose! Not what I expected.

I agree with others observations. This has got to be the best rose fragrance al-rehab do. Its definitely softer and I agree about the musk but as someone else has said I also get soft fruits in the background. There might be some peony as well.
It is no way as strong as the other al-rehab roses but it is certainly no wallflower. I dont find it quite as much of an “air freshener” as the others. It has both good sillage and longevity

COMPLETELY agreed with Nexangelus. A sweeter, more modern rose than most Al Rehabs, including Istanbul Rose, Taif Rose, Moroccan Rose, and Roses. Unlike those, this one will not sear sensitive nostrils! 😉
Maybe it’s just me, but I’m also smelling some creamy notes with peony and mild berries? Very mild. This scent is also a little like a rose scented shampoo. A rose painting in modern, free style, not a true photographic image.
Of all the rose scents I’ve tested from Al Rehab, this is the least Arabian and the most wearable for young, western women. Definitely femme in style! <3

resembles a beautiful rose garden, very nice but a bit more on the feminine side imo

This is a slightly sour-fruity rose, really lovely. Nothing outstanding but very pleasant. Thumbs up from me.

Ah, here we are, a slightly better take on rose. This one is sweeter and fruitier. With a hint of spice and musk. This Moroccan Rose is probably the most wearable of the Al Rehabs with rose in the name (Taif and Bulgarian are very loud citrus based geraniums rather than roses) I smell like a citronella candle or like I have doused myself in citronella oil after testing the first two. Boy are they strong! At least I have a mosquito repellant to hand for summer and fishing trips, if nothing else. Anyway, back to Moroccan Rose. Not bad, a berry red, musky rose.

From the bottle, the smell was so-so and not as inspiring, it seemed pretty off putting!
But then I decide to put some on my skin and discover just how wrong I was!!??!!
This perfume has a fresh/green rose with something like apple in the background.
It’s a very refreshing rose and I cannot smell much of the white musk, but it is in the background.
I wasn’t sure how I’d find this perfume as rose being a big note in a perfume just isn’t me to be honest, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
Finally I might just start wearing rose-based perfumes.
It’s quite a lovely spring/summer scent, or you can even put it on in winter-if you fancy a touch of spring during the colder months.
Like all Al-rehab perfumes I’ve come across so far, this one smells expensive and it is well made.
As I cannot smell the musk as well, I think it would go well layered with a heavily musk or amber based perfume.

Bathroom potpourri. I tried to keep this on to see if anything would happen and after about 1/2 an hour I finally smelled the rose, but it was doused in potpourri.

Plain horrible! Cheap sour synthetic and cloying. Not even good enough to use to fragrance a liquid hand soap

Oh nonono, not for me this one.
Had a bath and applied Moroccan Rose today and I’m finding it really annoying – complete scrubber.
Where’s the rose? I stop and smell roses of all kinds all the time, I love rose and am familiar with it. Any rose in this is completely overpowered by some weird fruity – and it’s not even citrus to my nose – note.
‘Modern fruity rose’ is what this is to me, blah, meh, nothingy.
Really surprised after reading all the good reviews, this isn’t even as nice as the cheapy Yardley rose I’ve got.
Maybe there’s something wrong with my nose, maybe I’m a master nose, or is it even possible to get a fake Al-rehab?? Hmm.

a very bright rose sent , not like the rose we have in Tunisia this one is like tunisian “rose de mai” with a bright note that I cannot identify, it’s a little bit sweet

I find this to be a beautiful if not rather linear perfume. What you smell at the first application is exactly what you get in the dry down.
Wonderful rose scent which smells expensive and natural to my nose. I simply love it!!

I have been sniffing around for an inexpensive rose oil and for $7.00 this is about the best I could come up with. For the price, I was afraid of cheap synthetics. I believe this is the real thing. Its a little different from Bulgarian, Ottoman or Taif rose. It has a sharpness to it that is somewhat exotic.
Morocco has a long history of producing quality attars. This seems to follow the pattern. This is one of those tiny blossoms that have an apple blossom appearance. Somehow the perfumers have captured that elusive morning blossom in this handy roller bottle. The apple/rose connection is here for me. There is no fruit listed.
There is an amber musk base holding this precious bouquet together. Its exotic, very pink and worth the price. I dilute it and use it on my skin in the winter as it is a great moisturizer.
