Made the mistake of trying during summer, and went straight into the “Give Away to Friends” box.
In a fit of boredom, re-opened the box today. At 43 degrees, Viridian transports me to heaven! So glad to re-discover this beauty.
Viridian has similarities to Le Jardin Vert (DSH), and seems like a winter-appropriate version of Eau de Céleri (Monsillage).
Making a wild guess (as one un-trained in perfumery), that galbanum (a smaller molecule) acts more restrained in colder climates.

This is a great green scent…a deep forest green if you will, with a touch of sunshine, very close to nature. It’s complex, stimulating to the nose-peaking my nose’s curiosity all the time- and at the same time very soothing and highly enjoyable. I just wish it was a touch stronger, and longer lasting. But if it were much heavier and thicker, I suppose that would ruin it’s very natural feel.
