Description

After the collection Essenze by Ermenegildo Zegna, another fragrance for men will be launched – its name is Uomo. The new fragrance by Ermenegildo Zegna will hit the shelves in spring 2013 and it will embody the essence of Italian style, Italian concept and Italian aromas.

“You buy a fragrance, you buy a dream. And it’s easier to sell dreams with fragrances than with fashion.” said Zegna.

Composition of the new fragrance Ermenegildo Zegna UOMO consists of citruses and bergamot from Zegna’s visit to Calabria, Italia. Citrusy notes are accompanied by accords of Violettyne Captive –violet leaf essence. Woody notes of cedar and vetiver contribute to strength and elegance of the fragrance.

The perfume arrives in a glass flacon with thin, diagonal lines, as 30, 50 and 100ml eau de toilette. Besides EDT, the collection also includes after shave balm 100ml and shower gel 200ml. Face of the advertising campaign is Ryan Burns, photographer is Matthew Brookes, and director of advertising campaign Jonas Åkerlund.

TBH, this is one of my all time favorites. I can’t understand why Uomo has never been really talked or appreciated on the community.

Nice citrus aquatic scent. Has hints of cucumbers as well. Not much staying power. Reminds me a bit of Fahrenheit for some reason. Inoffensive.

This fragrance has a citrusy opening, I can also smelled the wood and he aquatic notes in this. I am not particularly a fan of this fragrance. I don’t think it’s bad, but it’s not really for someone in my age group. It smells like a 40 year old man. It’s an OK scent. Got it for free but don’t ever plan on using it.

People who say it smells like YSL Libre, apparently never used it.

This is a pleasant bargain bin fragrance that is readily available at the discounter stores for dirt cheap which is surprising for a designer brand of this caliber. Zesty, fresh and sharp. This is a good aromatic citrus fragrance for those looking for something that is best suited for warmer weather. It has an Aqua di Gio vibe to it but at a much more affordable price. I say go for it since this one seems to be an enjoyable and affordable crowd-pleaser.

Spraying this with escentric molecules escentric 01 makes a even fresher watermelon type smell. Must be the violettyne in here mixing with whatever in escentric 01 and going from a spicy cucumbery violet to a more rounded watermelony fresh accord. Usually I am not for layering but this is cool, I was getting bored of Zegna Uomo and doing this breathes some life into our relationship , and I’ve been feeding your animals

You know what? This is a masterpiece!! And I will explain why. Zegna Uomo starts with a blast of strong violet leaf which we all know gives of a very fresh, green and watery aquatic smell. Many people dislike so much dominant violet leaf in frags which is often too strong, too synthetic and headache inducing. Everyone who is trying this frag from a bottle or on a tester strip needs to STOP as this frag will give you violet leaf smell from the paper for hours and it will not smell like it smells on the skin. If there is a one frag that changes on skin vs paper than it’s this one.
On paper, it’s citrus and mostly violet leaf… but on skin… Oh man is this modern and beautiful. It’s like it blends old barbershop frags but it in such a modern way. When you first spray it, you will get that violet leaf only but just for about 15 mins. The smell of violet leaf goes from 100% to maybe 30% in those 15 mins. Then, you are left with this non offensive fresh citrus frag that blends so so well with a gorgeous vetiver base which gives it slight sweetness. But it’s no candy sweet or anything you would eat. No. It’s a woody sweet, like when you peal off the bark from the tree and you smell that fresh semi sweet woody notes.
People say this is violet leaf, watery smell with citruses and woods take a back seat. On the contrary. This frag is anything but aquatic though it does have an aquatic notes but they are in the background. This is totally a fresh woody aromatic. It is EXACTLY like the air after the rain… Exactly that. Very ozonic, meaning, it is fresh, you can feel that juicy watery smell of the rain in the air right after the summer thunderstorm has passed with a slight sweetness from ozone. You then walk outside and stand under a tree which was just washed with that rain. The next time it rains, go out right after with a lemon in your hand and stand under a tree. A mix of that lemon, green tree, watery fresh air and a semi sweet ozonic feeling… this is it. You will get this fragrance.
It is veeeery similar to Lhomme Libre which has some spices that make it more heavy and rich, more sweetness but it is not so airy like this one. This is a true summer frag, classy and elegant. It is not just a ordinary simple boring frag but it has that touch of elegance, masculine, at the same time classy and ultra casual. You can easily see a formal dressed up man in summer wearing this, just as much a white shirt and pants and sitting on the beach. This shines in heat. Nothing for other seasons just a blazing hot summer day, or a rainy one, but strictly in the summmer.

    Bought it last week.
Very Strong start, just 2 sprays on my chest and that´s it, the smell comes out: very pleasant aroma, very fresh, sober and masculine.
This is a very good option for the office. After the 3 hrs the sillage comes down but it is ok, it still good.
Agree, this perfume smells very similar to HOMME Libre by YSL.
The price is so good: A set with two bottles (3.4oz and 1oz) in $36.00
    I very recommend this aroma.

    ★★★★
Finally, a modern summer scent with character, performance & elegance.
Zegna Uomo is misunderstood probably because of its simplicity. It shares similarities with a few fragrances that are quite successful for warmer weather.
Uomo has the citrus tonality that can be found in Dior Homme Sport or the first formula of Tommy Hilfiger’s Freedom, but also the sweetness can be reminiscent to the first DKNY Men fragrance. What makes Uomo distinctive and a step further is the use of the violet note and vetiver.
The sweet citrus note which is prominent throughout the fragrance’s lifespan are cleverly blended with vetiver and violet in the heart, which results in an overall refinement. It definitely has the calone/ozonic vibe suitable for the summer, but it manages to be more than a designer at the discount corner. It has an allure about it and the warmer the weather, the more it performs, which in my skin in 7 hours of longevity and 3 hours of proper sillage.
I understand that there’s conflict and some people just think it’s a bland citrus aquatic, but I can tell you with confidence that this is a great and beautiful composition that can be a summer signature (day/night) (casual/formal).
I would suggest hunting down a set so you can try the shower gel which -in my opinion-is amazing and a good boost.
This is the summer elegance I was looking for, & definitely will a regular during really hot days.
I don’t understand why this is not promoted by other users, I have read about so many generic favorites from users of forum (Guerlain Eau Boisee, Mercedes Benz Cologne, Acqua Di Gio etc.) but Uomo is superior to all of those. (yes, even Guerlain’s Eau Boisee)
PS: The bottle is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous.

I’ve seen this at the discounters for a long time but never was interested…and then, on a very hot day, I decided to buy Uomo for $12 and see why its reviews are all over the place.
Where I live, the summers are hot and humid-not my favorite time of year for fragrance. I don’t want something too rich, deep, or complex when it is 90 degrees with 80% humidity outside. Calone gives me a headache in these conditions, as does anything too sweet or complicated.
Enter Zegna Uomo. This is a great scent for this time of year. I believe it was not intended to-and should not be- a beast mode. Its elegant, fairly linear, and more like an aura than a cologne. A simple fragrance, pretty much straight violet leaf and citrus, for those days where its so hot you simply want take a cold shower and then wear something light, uplifting, and refreshing. Uomo fills this niche very nicely. Not a top 10 masterpiece, sure, but a great fragrance for times when the brutal heat turns my will to be alive into a languid torpor of inactivity. I enjoy it for what it is.

Got a sample from my local mall. Yet another “blue” fragrance but on the lighter side. Fresh, gentleman scent. Can be worn semi-formally and casually, great for school and office. Harsh synthetic smell on the opening. But once it settled down, it does its magic. Very citrusy/aquatic and in my opinion a very sexy scent. Will work beautifully on summer and spring. Generic but will surely be loved by ladies! It also kinda reminds me of 212 men.
    Scent: 9/10
Projection: 7/10 (on heat about 3 feet for 2 hours)
Longevity: 8/10 (6-8 hours on my skin)
    Age group: 18+

  14. :

    4 out of 5

I have to say I like the way it smells. My biggest problem is the longevity and projection. The reviews are all over the place on this frag. It is not a drug store frag at all. Yes it is a safe and pleasing frag. I feel it can be whore dressed up or down. This would be great for the office due to the soft Projection and I would need to re-apply every 2 to 3hrs. That is ok with me. I decant a 5Ml of every Frag I own. and I have over 60+ bottles. So all and all for me on this frag is a
8 out of 10 for scent
5 out of 10 for longevity
5 out of 10 for projection
for a total of 18 out of 30
This is just how it is on my skin. You might get better or not. Would I buy this again? yes if I can find it for cheep and I mean less the $20 for a 100Ml.

I agree with all the beachy wet sand fresh after the rain statements. I would just add that this is one of the most comforting fragrances I own. I love to spray this on before bedtime because of the calm and safe feelings this conjures up in me.

My favorite on my husband. I love the ozone note. It smells like the air near a forest after a lightning and rain storm.

  17. :

    5 out of 5

I like but don’t love it. For me, Uomo is sharp, angular, and one dimensional. On certain occasions it’s just right. The violet and vetiver steal the show. If those notes are polarizing for you, this won’t be a good fit. The violet is bright, the vetiver is subtly, pleasantly dirty. The other notes are there somewhere, but they’re indistinct and rest quietly in the background. It can be picked up for well under $20 at discount stors these days. Safe, benign blind buy.

For the first 15-20 seconds, there is a pretty strong alcohol smell which dissipates quickly to give rise to the invigorating combo of bitter citrus and prickly, verdant violet leaf.I get dusty, dry wafts of vetiver at this stage if the fragrance catches my nose just right.
20-30 minutes later, the edges round out on the citrus and violet leaf, and I’m left with the heart. ryanmmas26 described this stage best “cucumber salad with a soft dressing”. Cucumbers coated in a bitter citrusy-sumac dressing. Impressions of black pepper come and go from this point on, I guess the dryness of the vetiver, the scent of cedar, and the herbal components of violet leaf blend together to create these impressions.
This phase softens even further after about an hour and a half, at which point I smell a slightly cucumber-aquatic vetiver chord laid on top of a very, very mildly sweet cedar. This skin scent lingers for a couple hours as all aquatic notes progressively disappear from the cedar-vetiver base.
A solid scent for hotter days. Clean and refreshing, helps me focus, and I feel it would layer well with other fragrances. It lasts 4-5 hours on my skin. I’m not good at accurately gauging projection and sillage, but I don’t catch too many whiffs of this without smelling my arm or shirt. I use 3 sprays and can’t imagine this would annoy many people if I’m respecting their personal space lol. I’m not a big projection-seeker cause I know the sense of smell is incredibly personal and I could unknowingly cause a negative scent memory in someone, so this soft projection doesn’t bother me
This fragrance is an 8/10 for me.The performance may sound terrible to you, but keep in mind that in my mind I am framing it as a long lasting cologne-style fragrance, not a poorly performing EdT. For 12 dollars at Marshall’s, I will definitely buy a second bottle of this. I would pay 30-40 dollars for this and not be disappointed at all

Violet leaves with capital letters. This is green, bright, uplifting and refreshing. Perfect for sunny summer days.
It smells natural and projects well. I have some doubts about longevity, but I will comment again once I apply properly.
You must like violet leaves to like this fragrance. So if you like YSL Libre, Mercedes Benz intense, you will probably like this one as well.

    What a lovely pleasing fragrance!!
Although with the initial notes it does smell generic but in middle notes it becomes very masculine vetiver based aquatic woody fragrance which reminds me alittle bit of fahrenheit aqau and DKNY men.
Longivity & projection both are good.
    Best for sports/gym/adventure
7 out of 10 for me.

Uomo, by Ermenegildo Zegna, was launched in 2013 and brought, once again, the concept of transmitting the Italian style, including with regard to aromas. The perfumer was Alberto Morillas and the composition is poorly divulged. It seems there is only a mix of bergamot, vetiver, cedar and violet leaves, but the fragrance is much more complex.
I went a little deeper in the researches and managed to discover the official composition, which contains cedrat, galbanum, ambrox, grapefruit, Sambac jasmine, cedar, Super Hedione HC, Haitian vetiver, patchouli and musk, plus two special ingredients: Citrus Zegna bergamot, obtained from bergamots that grown on the properties of Zegna, in Calabria, and the floral compound Violettyne Captive (Firmenich), which increases the violet content in the fragrance.
The concept of timeless elegance of Italian men combines with the versatile style of the fragrance, which can be easily worn as a signature scent. The bottle was inspired by the staircase of Casa Malaparte, in Capri, designed and built by journalist and writer Curzio Malaparte in 1942.
Uomo came to my hands as a gift from a dear friend. But not even that fact, beyond the beautiful composition and concept, are enough to make better my opinion on this cologne. It is classified as woody-aromatic, it has received numerous positive reviews for its citric content, but on my skin it behaves as a floral-woody, in which the smell of violets shines along with the sweet aroma of the ambrox and the creamier facet of musk. The citrus side is too soft and looks like it is trapped under a veil. Fatal mistake!
In my opinion, Uomo has a very good violet note, which is quite common in men’s fragrances, but it could have brought more innovation. It does not exude well and does not evolve, although it has good lasting. It is great for those who like soft scents or work in shared environments and looks for a daily signature, as I said before. Still, it did not captivate me and kept me waiting for something that never happened.
I’ve read reviews saying it’s a generic scent, but this term means that the product is vague, not specific. I do not agree and, particularly, I think the ideal term would be ordinary. It is not a matter of simplicity or minimalism. It is a matter of final result. It is not a fragrance of poor quality, but it does not convey the weight of the brand and, consequently, it is not worth the price charged.

  26. :

    3 out of 5

Some people say it’s generic, I disagree. It is a pleasant smelling, elegant scent in its own right. The dry down reminds me of a lighter version of Encre Noire, which explains the “rainy day on the beach” comments and the success of combining the scents. Unfortunately, the key word in the above is “pleasant” not “amazing”. I like it but don’t necessarily love it. That being said, didn’t pay much for my bottle. If you want a good scent at a great price, this is a good option.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

Reminds me of 50% ADG and 50% Oscar Pour Homme. Less aquatic than ADG, and less pepper than Oscar. I like it, but don’t love it. The longevity and sillage is average at best on my skin. On clothes I get very good longevity. Several reviewers here suggested to wear this on a rainy summer day (or after the rain) and let me to ya, that’s where this fragrance really shines. It reminds me of being on the boardwalk at the beach after a rain storm when the rain tramples the hot pavement — something about the pepper and wetness in this that reminds me of that rain at the beach scent, as others here have indicated. Sure, it has that synthetic cedar that many people dislike. But you are sure to find more people that like this than dislike this fragrance, or have no reaction at all.
    – Sillage: 6/10 (becomes skin scent quickly)
    – Longevity 7/10 (better on clothes)
    – Value: 8/10 (easily found cheaply, $15 for 1oz)
    – Scent: 7/10 (nothing special, but very versatile)

Zegna is a difficult company to gauge. They have a stellar line of “private blends”, and yet a very spotty track record with their mainstream line.
They have had a few hits, but mainly misses.
By the mid 2010s, the Zegna license was bought by Aramis, and they promptly discontinued a few of the great scents they happened to make.
Instead they gave us Uomo. This scent was poorly received and reviled.
The problem is inherently that it was compared to Essenza di Zegna. The greatest scent this company ever made, and a classic in the fragrance game. But after using Uomo several times, I am forced to ask – why the hate?
Yes, it’s a woody aromatic. We’ve smelt this templates hundreds of times. But to be fair, the same was the case with Essenza.
Uomo opens with a juicy citrus-lavender accord. It’s spiced up with a boatload of pepper. It’s a very similar accord to what you find opening Cool Water or Green Irish Tweed.
However it quickly goes the gentleman way, with a classic barbershoppy middle stage. There aren’t really any definable notes here. Just a quite subtle approach. At this stage it’s sort of similar to Essenza. It has that same bright citrus with a green barbershop background motif going on.
The base is delicious rooty vetiver and cedar. This is not vetiver like Grey Vetiver or most modern vetivers. Instead I would put it in a similar category as Guerlain’s Vetiver, where the vetiver is not a main note, but more of another voice in the chorus.
Overall the composition comes across as extremely balanced. This is surely not a terrible fragrance at all. Yes it’s slightly synthetic, but what designer isn’t these days? And is that necessarily bad?
Uomo is a great pillar fragrance. It accomplishes alot for the brand, and is a totally reasonable release. Certainly far better than the current fresh stuff out there – Bleu de Chanel etc.
Longevity is very good – 8-9 hours.
    Rating: 8.5/10

Aqua di Gio. 1% better since it doesn’t make me want to puke quite as much, but very nearly the same scent. yeah generic.

Generic cologne. Fresh, simple, clean. Kind of like shaving cream. The vetiver burns my nose a bit, like most men’s fragrances that use it as a main note. Citruses are present but just round things out- they are not the star. Struggling to come up with more to say. I am sure if the right person it wearing it, Uomo may come alive. But for me, it’s average.

This is the only ‘aquatic’ i like. I dont really get aquatic from it though. More like wet violet.. Not like salty air..it also has some black pepper.. If you dont like aquatics, this is still worth trying.
Not bad but I dont reach for it often. Still, a nice frag

  33. :

This was gifted by my father-in-law, and I very much enjoy wearing it. The opening is all about the violets and bergamot for me, given depth by the cedar and vetiver base that comes through after an hour or so. It smells clean and fresh, but still quite mature. A confident work scent (and a steal given how low the price has fallen recently, if the formulation has not suffered?).

  34. :

Nice forest scent (woody and green) with citrus top note!
It instantly makes you feel fresh, and puts you in a good mood.
And there is this mysteriously alluring middle notes that cause me to keep coming back to it.
In summary, it is bright yet enticing!
Edit: I really like the beautifully orchestrated bergamot / citrusy opening of Uomo. Its shortcomings are good but short-lived projection, and short longevity. Since I like the scent of this fragrance so much that I tried to layer it with a longer lasting fragrance such as Encre Noire Sport by Lalique. Two sprays of Uomo and one spray of Noire Sport. The result was beautiful; a pleasant bright bergamot/citrusy opening of Uomo with a long-lasting, freshly-cut grassy dry-down of Noire Sport long after Uomo died out. This combination lasted more than 10 hours, compared to 2-3 hours of Uomo alone.
    Woody Aromatic
    Scent (4/4)
    Longevity (2/3)
    Sillage (2/3)
    Total 8/10
    Summer/Spring

This fragrance has clean, bright citrus top notes underpinned with woodier and muskier notes which add authority. It’s assertive, balanced, sophisticated and confident. It may be a cliche, but it’s perfect for someone who doesn’t want to appear as though they are trying too hard! For me, it’s tasteful and appropriate for day wear. It seems to last the work day which suits me fine.

This on my skin came off sharp, offensive and cheap. The opening is nice but once the votives in this scent comes out its just too much.
My gf HATES this on me and I’ve even tried less sprays but it still just does NOT agree with my skin. Its not a bad scent but it is bad on my skin. Such a shame because this projects and lasts well.
    Overall rating 5 out of 10 !

  37. :

I tested before blind buying. But I didn’t need to. I don’t have many citrus fragrances (I’ve given away a lot of them).
When I was younger I would have detested this stuff. Now, in my 30’s I appreciate that the citrus and violet in Uomo is very well blended – to the point that I don’t notice the transition to cedar or vetiver which does happen, however, maintaining citrus and violet throughout. I would draw no similarities to bvlgari aqva – no ocean accord; nor to farenheit. I wouldn’t even tie it to many citrus scents I wear (givenchy play sport; aqua farenheit) except maybe a slight similarity to versace pour homme. I was fearful from the comments/reviews here that this would indeed smell like aqua farenheit but not.at.all.
Middle notes will give a strong shout out to Bvlgari Man on my skin, but where I find Bvlgari Man Dry and distancing, this one is warm and inviting. Base notes will have a sweet violet note lingering on your clothes and skin.
Sorry to all who don’t enjoy this – for me it’s a love…a very romantic love; I could wear this all the time and will likely travel with it from now because it’s very uplifting.

EN. This perfume I’ve bought at the Ermenegildo Zegna’s factory boutique in the city where this brand was born (Biella, Italy). To tell you the truth, first I’ve bought there a leather backpack, and then trying the perfume on my wrist, I asked the seller to add it also (the 50 ml bottle “just” for €60). My frustration came from eBay website, where the same perfume, of the same quantity was sold for only €25 (p&p including). What can I say about the perfume itself? At least, it disappears without a trace of this cheaply-woody shade, which is so common to many perfumes at this level. Well, it’s just a perfume, big deal, after all I came to Zegna for a bag and the backpack I’ve got was a really great quality.
IT.

I found it is a very interesting scent after layering with Lalique Encre Noire Sport.
One spray Zegna Uomo with 1-2 spray(s) Lalique ENS, then you get a fresh forest with aquatic vibe. Really a perfect match!
However, projection will be softened and shortened after layering, but I just like it in an inoffensive way, and mysterious, complex scent.Rating: 7.0-7.5/10.

I got this one months ago and I just decided to wear it today in a warmer day. I think is a nice casual essence, nothing to impress on a date or big event, but very wearable and affordable too. I would like to try the other flanker, Uomo Absolute.

Picked up a bottle for £13 on perfume click and at that price it’s a great buy.
I like but don’t love this. I smell a bit of Fahrenheit in it.
I’ve had a fair few compliments off this and will buy again for work if I can pick up at a low price but its an ‘everyday/work’ scent, not a ‘special’ Scent for me.

This is a green woody cologne that will be wonderful for hot summer afternoons. It’s good but not something that I’ll categorize as mind blowing.
Projection is decent for the first 30-45 mins (around half to one feet). Then it becomes a skin scent. You can still smell it on yourself, so that’s a good thing, but its not something that people in your next cubicle will smell.
I would buy it again. It goes into my ‘like’ list but not the ‘love’ list.

Now I’m African American and she is Caucasian and we are both married but had we not been at work that day she would have got the D believe me. moving this from the panty dropper line to the home wrecker collection.

This is a good scent but nothing great that will blow you away.
Pleasant enough for me to warrant a like though as its fresh, green slightly spicy and I really love violet leaf in fragrances and in this fragrance the violet leaf is very noticeable.
This is a very typical scent that’s inoffensive and to me would be a perfect scent for the office and/or a great signature scent as its moderately priced and great for all seasons !
The best way to describe this scent itself is it smells like a cucumber salad if you added some a soft spicy dressing. That sounds weird and probably doesn’t sound attractive but somehow it just works.lol
Performance on this is above average ! It lasts on my skin about 6-10 hours but only has moderate to soft projection. Which again is perfect for the office
Overall rating 7 out of 10 ! Good scent, good performance, price point and versatility but it smells ordinary which holds it back from getting a higher score

Yawn… does the world really need more of these synthetic-smelling woody spicy fragrances? I can’t even count how many fragrances I’ve smelled just like this over the past 5 or 6 years: sharp, peppery pencil shavings with metallic fake violet leaf. It’s not a terrible fragrance, but it’s boring, and totally uninspired – the equivalent of what the “Sport” and aquatic scents were back in the 90’s.
I’m smelling that damn synthetic violet leaf too often in men’s fragrances these days, and Zegna Uomo is LOADED with it.
    Boooo!!!
    My rating: 5/10

I really like this fragrance. On me the dry down is so peppery and I just love that. I keep picking up something green too. Almost like a vegetable smell (cucumber?) Not sure but for what I paid I am definitely not disappointed in acquiring Uomo by Zegna. If you haven’t tried it definitely give it a shot.

    …. First inpressions
    1.Smells like libre
    2.Tastes like libre
after a minute , there is a weird “off” smell, cant put my finger on it . After smelling my wrist like crazy to try pin down the elements that doesnt quite fit, all that happens is i get a soapy like backdrop from this fragrance, almost to a point where it chokes you.
Not sure whats going on in this bottle. Some kind of weird trickery!!
Once it drys down and settles , its ok . nothing great just a soapy smell , like a bar of soap and a lot less like libre.
Rather buy a bar of soap

I purchased this fragrance a few months back after reading countless reviews on it. So here’s my take…there’s something about this that is completely ruining it for me. I can’t figure it out, but its the same thing that I smelled in “Libre” by YSL and another bottle that I cannot quite recall at the moment. It’s like a stingy sour note…like a little vinegary? This fragrance smells wonderful but I can’t do it. Otherwise, I would give this an 8/10 easy if it wasn’t for that note. Yuzu! Issey Miyake’s “Yuzu” has that same note in it! I just remembered it. I can’t do that one either.

Received my bottle today and trying it out for the first time and I must say it is a lovely aura of citrusy freshness with a hint of some woody notes right in the background… Its nothing that has not been done before but its a have-must in any collection. Now I’m looking forward to trying the Absolute version.

Fresh, green and well blended daytime scent of vetiver, bergamot and violet and notes. On initial application its difficult to discern exactly what you’re smelling. Its citrus with a dankness to it. After 15-30mins you get the aforementioned accord and its quite pleasant. The problem? Naff projection and longevity. I gave the tester strip a good dousing. Its a reguloar overcast English day outside, and this stuff just wouldn’t stick to the strip – not much use to me then. Shame, as many of the below reviews have marked it out as being a winner. Not here 🙁

How one couldn’t love this beats me. This smells so clean and fresh. It smells nothing like any of abercrombies fragrances, but this scent reminds me of what the store smells like. When I found out they sprayed fierce in the stores I was shocked. This stuff is amazing and the ladies go nuts. They say it’s sexy.
    Very clean vibe.
    Scent 10/10
    Longevity 7/10
    Projection 7 /10
Full bottle and signature scent worthy.

WOW! The reviews on this are so underrated! This is a more subdued YSL Libre without the overbearing pink pepper note which made anyone who wore it smell like a 35-40yo. Lucked out and got it for under $20 on ebay which was a steal. If find it for under $40 I say pull the trigger! Its the perfect spring scent!! (will update later after having time with it)

Great price. Long lasting. Simple. Bright. Hubby loves it and it lasts all day! What more could you need. He works with the public and it is not offensive in the slightest.

Lol Fragrancenet accidentally sent me a gift set of this stuff for the same price as the 1.7 oz bottle I ordered. Not going to complain about that mistake! I am testing this on my skin right now, and have to say that I quite like it. I was looking for a generic citrus fragrance for everyday use, and that’s exactly what I got. I don’t always want to rock a unique or strong fragrance, sometimes I just want to smell nice. I think Kanak is exactly right in his review
