Don’t let the “woody aquatic” classification fool you. This is not your typical aquatic scent. The water notes in this one are more imaginary than real. The Wendol captures a cave- like vibe exactly as written in the description. This is a damp, dank forrest cave. Mossy earth.
It very quickly (10 minutes) dries down to the damp mossy earthy scent that I find very comforting and grounding. It stays close to the skin. I can imagine snuggling close to my loved one’s neck to inhale this natural fragrance that doesn’t smell like perfume so much as it smells like part of one’s own body.
In just an hour or two only the soft hint of vetiver remains. It’s wonderful for those who enjoy earthy scents.
