Description

Jean Paul Gaultier launches its new fragrance Ultra Male in summer 2015. The fragrance is a reinterpretation or enhanced version of the popular original Le Male from 1995. Ultra Male, announced as masculine, intense, seductive and at the same time delicate, is supposedly built on contrasts notes and is a spicier version of the original.

It opens with citrus notes of bergamot, along with juicy pear, black lavender and mint. The heart includes spices of cumin and cinnamon, with aromatic clary sage. The base consists of black vanilla, amber and woods. It is signed by Francis Kurkdjian.

The face of the advertising campaign is model Jarrod Scott. The fragrance arrives in a characteristic torso bottle, this time colored in dark blue with black stripes. It is available as 40, 75 and 125 ml Eau de Toilette Intense.

    ***********************************
PEAR note is beautiful but fleeting
    ***********************************
PEAR is the best part of this fragrance that makes it stands out from the rest. Sadly, the PEAR disappear in about 15~20min, then fragrance completely changed into
    ***************************************
→ Middle smell exactly like PB INVICTUS
    ***************************************
After the initial Fruity opening, Ultra♂ transform itself into a PB INVICTUS on my skin. They share the same strong punchy ‘bubblegum’ scent. They are so close to each other as is the rather linear drydown, the same 6hrs longevity, and the same strong projection.
If can summerize UltraMale like this:
    • UltraMale = Fruity PEAR Invictus
    • Azzaro Wanted = LEMONY Invictus
Pear smell wonderful, I wish more Men’s Fragrance use pear. Ultramale is a likeable fragrance, but once the pear disappear, it transform into a clubbing Invictus with the same bubblegum smell. If you like Invictus, you can safely blind-buy Ultramale. If you hate Invictus, then stay away.

As they used to say on a certain TV commercial back in the day…”Don’t let the smooth taste fool you.” Please, understand this…Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male opens up with a nice, fruity pear note that is as gentle and calm as Bambi, but dries down into a smooth, shifty-eyed, womanizing playboy that turns into JAWS as it gobbles up and feeds on the vulnerable hearts of all the beautiful females in its path. Yes, this fragrance is an absolute BEAST…but must be worn during the cooler months to control its potentially overwhelming power (projection) and stamina (longevity). GO GET IT…and wear it with confidence, even if the cinnamon/vanilla dry down comes across as a bit sweet. Trust me…this is a “liquid invitation to paradise” for the ladies and it does its job WELL at getting her there. Just be sure to hold up YOUR end when it does, if you know what I mean.
BEWARE: If you are shy, insecure or become uncomfortable when women compliment you and/or come on to you, then this fragrance is NOT FOR YOU. This one is for the guys who love female attention and aren’t afraid to react and respond accordingly to all of the benefits that come along with it.

A nice minty pear upon first spray, but once the fragrance settles and dries down, it becomes a gorgeous, but loud ambery cinnamon vanilla combo that projects very hard.
Projection is about 8 feet all around me, and when I walk into the lobby of a bar, and the air rushes in with me, I get a very large rush of my fragrance coming off my body, even after 4 hours of spraying.
Longevity is very good, and on my skin, lasts at least 8 hours.
9/10 overall rating. My only gripe is that it isn’t very versatile, and if worn in the summer could be quite annoying.

Hmm Gaultier fragrances are in no way on the level of Mugler. I’m sorry, this one is ok. I like the mint in it, I think the smell has taken on some of the smell of the material of the bottle it’s in, kind of a stone smell, classic..older but good, not too old yet lol

Amazing juice. But only for people who like sweeter fragrances

I get a beautiful full sweetness and the vibe of pear for the most part. The dry down has some herbs and vanilla. The wood are very faint here.
This is one of the best gifts for a nephew or grade school son. I feel that this is too young for a mature man.
This stuff is rich, sweet, quality and loud.
The little ladies would be swooning !
8 hours longevity and a strong competitor to sauvage.

    Sweet sweet vanilla.
It’s feels nice to wear yet I feel the smell itself would be better as a room or car fragrance & not be worn by people.
My wife disliked it on me, so there’s that, too.

Opening is too sweet, but dry down is amazing. overall good fragrance for colder weather.

Really good cologne. Not a huge fan of the opening, but after 30 mins it smells intoxicating. Smells like your going to a party, and ladies love it

  10. :

    3 out of 5

The patchouli in this is very clean and cool. It helps balance the the warmth of the cinnamon, and the sweetness of the vanilla.
Don’t let the sweetness from the opening discourage you, once it drys down it is really smooth, and inviting.
    Pretty unique men’s designer fragrance.

Holy crap one beast mode of a fragrance! Absolutely addicting! I smelled it first at a macy’s just casually trying it on. It was literally love at first wiff. My god is it super sweet but still masculine. It literally became my #1 fragrance for winter/fall.
The dry down is GORGEOUS; soft sweet creamy vanilla which i LOVE. Projection easily lasts a good 3+ hrs and this beast lasts LONG just like Eros. With eros I could STILL smell it on my clothes days after. I am sure ultramale will have the same performance if not better. It’s really potent and will linger around for many hours so be careful with the sprays! I would not do more than 2 seriously!
Ultramale has somewhat similar DNA as the original le-male but way sweeter, way more longevity and projection. Usually more masculine fragrance do not smell sweet so any daring guy that is confident enough to rock this surely will have the ladies attention.

In my previous review of a sample I bought, I said that after smelling it, I immediately bought a full bottle.
Given all the B.P.I. vs. Puig controversy, I decided to weigh in:
The sample I initially smelled was B.P.I. (Paris; batch 75,116), and, of course, as I stated in my previous review, it is amazing…
The full bottle I recieved was Puig (Made in France, tho; batch 80,571) and was honestly great; a little more tart, maybe, but overall very similar and still AMAZING.

well from the puig inconsistencies i would seek out the BPI.

    PUIG BATCH 80601.
    SPL 10/10. More than enough.
    Whats wrong with frag people?
Trying to increase the price on used old bottles or what?
See it happens here on several scents.

For me this is not masculine. It smells like bubblegum. But good for the club.. not for a date.

Tengo en mi poder la versión BPI y la versión Puig, para mi son practicamente iguales. Una es 2016 y la otra 2018. IMO

In the same vein of sweet spicy as 1 Million but fruitier.
Likeable smell. Wouldn’t go for it personally.

  18. :

I have to say this is one of the best scents I have ever smelled. Every time I smell this it feels like I’d just have reached heaven, unfortunately the performance is so bad (june 2017 puig made in Spain bottle, batch code : 71531) it lasts about 5 hours with 30-60 min projection (about half feet only) then it just sticks close to the skin , which breaks my heart
In the dry down I can smell Le Male DNA
I wish i have the bottle with better performance since I love this scent so much.

  19. :

    3 out of 5

    Ok this is GRAND.
It’s one of those ‘love at first sniff’ perfumes.
It’s definitely got the Le Male DNA but it’s fresher and dewier. The pear note is really prominent and works incredibly well with the LM DNA. It gives the whole perfume an uplifting quality the original didn’t have. It makes it elegant and almost romantic. I’m not crazy about the amped up cinnamon but as the pear/vanilla/mint combo overshadow it I don’t really mind it that much.
In terms of both power and longevity it’s weaker than the original, although it’s still firmly above average in both respects. Definitely worth buying if you’re into an ‘adult’ vanilla that’s fresh, dewy and sweet without being too sweet or silly.

Picked up a sample with my last fragrance purchase. Smelled it once and immediately decided to order a whole bottle. Just a great fragrance all round. Amazing front to back.

  21. :

    4 out of 5

This is a great, unique, and legendary smelling fragrance. While Im usually more of a fan of masculine, aromatic fougeres (babershop scents, etc) than sweeter ones like this, I cant deny that the compliment factor on this one is much higher from both women and men.
Plus it performs exceptionally well staying on me all day. My skin has a tendency to eat up fragrances and I have to constantly reapply – not with this one, its 100% beast mode. One of the best sweeter smelling colognes that are still very masculine. I highly recommend it!

  22. :

    3 out of 5

YJT25 X = Beast mode!!! On the old B.P.I. bottles the batch code is written on the bottom side of the plastic cellophane of the tin can.
Remember “X” is 2015 and “Y” is……2016. And after they started just with numbers and no letters in the batch codes.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

Good for those who like sweet fragrances, but even then I would rather recommend Pure XS by Paco Rabanne. Same scent DNA, same vanilla vibe. But it’s cheaper ánd performs better if you ask me. Especially on longevity.
For everyone who chooses Ultra Male because it’s hyped as the ultimate club banger: don’t believe the hype! Go for CH Men Privé, Aventus, YSL La Nuit De L’homme or Rasasi Daarej.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

Got a decant of this because I wanted to see what the hype was all about. As soon as I got in the car I sprayed it on paper. Smells just like Polo Red Intense.
Got back to the house and sprayed some on my skin. Again I got a strong Polo Red Intense vibe. But I noticed a little mint note, like a spritz of Versace Eros.
Although this smells a lot like Polo Red Intense with a mint note the performance is good and projects great. It’s not unique enough for me to buy it and wear it. But I’ll finish the decant.

If anybody else can get vibes of Valentino Uomo or Uomo Intense (without that lipsticky feel) too??????
It’s delicious too… pear is juicy and I get the muddy/ dusty vibe of original Le Male too….I likedit but it’s not awful!!! With respect to all lovers I should say I liked Le male way better and find it more complexed over ultra male!

  26. :

My girlfriend loves this one.. i have to say i do too… although it is much sweeter than i thought it still is great.. the dry down i got was just creamy vanilla which is fantastic… great one to have in the collection

  27. :

    5 out of 5

As far as performance I remember wearing it as vintage, not really being my flavor. To be considered a clubbing fragrance or “king of clubbing” well not this formulation. It’s not strong like that, it’s weak to me. There’s nothing with that kind of power anymore

  28. :

    5 out of 5

You can’t hate on this one, even though its just another sweet fragrance. I wanted to. I tried it just for the hell of it, just because it was a sample giving to me by Macys. Here’s the verdict, “The compliments do the talking and bull keeps walking”

It is not a perfume, it is magic, the pear note is pure hypnotic vibe.
Longevity, silage, compliments, all to the top!

The opening is very sweet with a nice dominating pear, complemented by lavender and a small amount of mint which becomes more prominent as the pear dies down. The heart of the fragrance is where the spice comes in with a great cinnamon scent dominating. On the base I get a great mix of vanilla and amber that seems to be lasting a very long time on my skin.
The presentation of this EDT was different to any other fragrance that I had previously purchased. The bottle came sealed inside a large tin cylinder, pop off the bottom of the tin and these sits the male torso shaped bottle held tightly in place on the inside surface, very well presented.
    – Longevity: 7-12 hours
    – Sillage: Strong
    – Wearability: Autumn, Winter, Spring
    – Versatility: Clubbing, Nights out. Possibly office & social if you hold back on sprays.

What can be adorned with the banners of beautiful and gorgeous as effortlessly as Ultra Male. The opening exceeds every niche fragrance i own and have tried. So natural. Pear, vanilla, cinnammon, and mint are the four mouthwatering standouts.
I smell the fingerprints of its world renowned perfumer- Francis Kurkdjian. Who also signed his name to the other famous blockbuster in the same year- Baccarat rouge 540. While stunning in its own right, a slight tartness gives a wink to the sweet and sour accords of creeds silver mountain water and ck one.
I prefer Ultra Male- hands down for the overall smoother composition and the warmth of its masculinity.
    This is the niche killer.
This is the one a lady will not admit to, or speak of.
Forget compliments. This is not your uncultured classless clubber. It is a masterpiece of a modern fougere, crafted by a master. This is a change in atmosphere, enveloped in my sweet beautiful scent. I like the bottle as well, we are built like a barbarian and smell like a prince.

Just got this one today, blind buy sorta. Ordered it then was in Macy’s and smelled it on a test strip. On paper you can really get that pear note but on skin it’s more subtle. Sweet like one million, but not as dark. But it still is very much a cold weather scent. In the mid there is a very masculine powery vibe that is amazing. It makes it sweet and soft, but aggressive at the same time.I have the Puig batch and still thoroughly satisfied. This deserves every bit of the hype it got/gets

  35. :

    4 out of 5

This is much sweeter than I had anticipated.
Its sweet right out of the gate, with a slight powdery note. Not a bad powdery – sort of like a modern powdery if that makes sense.
I cant really detect the pear note, but the sweetness is very tonka bean-like which I can only assume is the pear/vanilla combo.
I will definitely wear this a few times in the winter. To me, its not your everyday winter scent. Most winter frags are very deep, dark and heavy with tobacco, spices, cardamom, etc.
This is a very fresh winter frag. This is going to be very uplifting in the cold, dreary days. This would be too cloying on a warm/hot day.
I like it overall. Its not a love yet, but very much different than any other winter frag.

Ultra male is a fragrance that I just don’t reach for often. I usally were more lighter or aquatics for everyday stuff. But everytime I spray myself with this frag I always think wow this is such a nice fragrance. I defined get the bubblegum vibe people refer to.( I did not get that bubblegum vibe at all in le male)I wouldn’t say it smell likes bubblegum tho. But has that kinda vibe lol if you like or love le male I’m almost positive you’ll love this one. There’s a really nice peat note in the opening and then vanilla and sandalwood it’s very creamy. Most wemen seem to really like it as well. My sister says she likes it so much she would wear it lol so definitely not the most masculine one out there lol still a really good frag.

  37. :

Just tried this for the first time. It reminded me of something I couldn’t quite place. Then it came to me…. Mugler “A” Men. Rich, slightly cloying, chocolatey, with none of the pear, mint and vanilla I was expecting. Not sure to be honest.

Since there is some talk about batch codes around Ultra Male, I will also add my two batch codes to help other people track this and find what they want to.
I have 2 bottles. One of them is BPI France, batch 63191, and the other is PUIG Spain, batch 71671. To my nose they are not 100% the same. The scent is not 100% the same. I can notice that BPI production transmits a clear dense and creamy pear vibe while PUIG production transmits a little more fresh vibe and the start is a little sharp to my nose. Also I sense the pear note is not as proeminent as BPI production. At least to my nose they are not equal for sure.
Regarding projection, fixation and sillage they are both still the top comparing to other very known perfumes around and I hope it continues to be this way regarding factories production options. I still can get from my PUIG bottle 8h+ skin fixation and good projection/sillage. Easy.
Since this is a mostly winter fragrance I prefer the BPI production because of the more evident dense and creamy pear vibe it transmits. It was a matter of taste if they didn’t discontinued the BPI production. But now it seems that it will be made by PUIG only.
I wished that there was a formula code in all perfumes to better track this kind of stuff.

I went perfume shopping with a friend during spring this year and upon smelling it, almost immediately “ordered” him to buy it. He did end up buying it but regretted that and went to buy Luna Rossa Carbon instead.
I frankly loved this scent from the start, yes, it’s super sweet, it’s super potent, it frankly smells like an alpha-male, sorta just banging into a place without a care. That’s what I liked about it though, not that I am promoting the idea of an alpha-male, but I feel like fragrances can boost your personality and seeing how he was a sweet guy(with a honest mouth and a athletic build), I thought it would add a bit of oomph. I just wish it had a bit more of smoke/leather to it, toning down the cinnamon-bubblegum association a tad.
The idea of Ultra Male reminds me of Paco Rabanne Black XS for him, in the same sweet, sexy, attention-grabbing way. Which is to say that if you want to wear this, wear it on skin, under clothes and NEVER overspray.
Frankly, seeing how he doesn’t want to keep it, I might just buy it off of him.

Very fruity and sweet. I really like the smell, even if I can see it being a bit too sweet for some persons, it’s not disgusting at all tho. Projects very well and lasts very long. Definitely a good acquisition

This fragrance smells so good, sweet, fruity, vanilla deliciousness.Opens up with juicy pear and sweet sensual vanilla then smooth and creamy yet spicy cinnamon that is all surrounded by the freshness of cool mint. There is something in here that smells the slightest amount of a sort of soapiness, which I believe is clary sage. This is pretty sweet for the first few minutes but give it sometime and it will dry down to a more sensual, soft, rich, and creamy fragrance very good projection for the first few hours and then becomes somewhat of a skin scent(darn you puig). longivity is alright suprassing about 5 hours+, overall Id give this a 8.8/10.

Alright guys, strap yourself in, we’re going for a ride!
I initially had a BPI OG alphanumeric batch code one and it was strong stuff (batch code was something like XES05 X – you know, the original style batch code?). Sold it (stupidly), and then later on bought another BPI one retail at Macy’s – however the batch code had changed to numeric only (like 70092 or 60296, etc.) and it did not seem as strong as my alphanumeric BPI bottle. Sold that one off. I’ve since received several other bottles including both of these types.
I sprayed both on paper like side by side, they DID seem different to me. If it matters to you to where you aren’t satisfied with the ‘newer’ BPI or PUIG ones, then track down an alpha-numeric BPI one (batch code looks like.. ‘XES05 X’, etc.). This is the OG.
I don’t know about the whole PUIG Spain vs France stuff, but what it DOES seem like is if there was indeed a formula change, it had happened (or initially, at least) while still under BPI labeling from the change from alphanumeric to numeric. As if I’m not mistaken, the PUIG ones use the exact same numeric only batch codes as the latter BPI ones use, and even in the same holographic/shiny font on the bottom of the cans.
tl;dr if it makes you feel better, go for the alpha-numeric batch coded Ultra Male only.
    Basically it’s like this…
    *2015 release -> alpha-numeric BPI (XES05 X / XLA14 X, etc).
*Mid-2016 switched to numeric BPI (70092 / 60296, etc). *Switched to Puig, and now there’s two different countries of manufacture for Puig.
BPI OG -> BPI numeric -> Puig Spain -> Puig France…. or was the France before the Spain? I’m not sure.
Anyways, take this for what you will. I’m most likely well more than good with two alpha-numeric BPI bottles, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be hunting for more ;).
p.s. The two different bottles I sprayed on paper DID appear different to me. The next day or so I got my gf to smell both and she in fact deem the alpha-numeric BPI as the stronger of the two.
Have fun hunting! I just got two alpha-numeric ones, which is one of the reasons why I’m comfortable releasing this info now. Less competition ;).
Edit: OH! Forgot to mention. For those who think BPI and Puig are the same, they *may* be comparing numeric BPI to numeric Puig and may actually be the same. Compare alpha-numeric to Puig – see if that does it for you.

One of the best modern fragrances for the young man.
You get a very sweet fragrance with rich notes and ambergris that balances out the sweetness. This leads this to smell very heady and intoxicating.
This fragrance has the rich sweetness, pear, sandalwood and tonka in the base and likely some mint or faint herbs blended in.
For me this is the best JPG flanker and has strong projection and sillage and lasts 7 to 10 hours.
This is better than sauvage and is certainly a great party fragrance and can be great on dates with 2 or 3 sprays only.

PUIG and BPI are identical. One of my favorite scents and I wouldn’t settle for less. People are crazy.

This fragrance growing up on me everyday. I dont really know how to describe well about perfume. But this one still have original JPG DNA. But i think this one better..The Pear note really prominent here. Longevity easily pass 8 hours and project beastly. All genders give me compliment about this one. One of the best in my collection.

The performance on this fragrance is insane. Two sprays on my skin and it will fill up a whole room. Smells nice in room temp but once it gets colder it starts emitting a wonderful smell. It will be my go to for the winter day. Probably wont use for the club. The smell in colder weather beats the smell in hot weather by far.

I own two bottles of Ultra male
BPI YJT25X and PUIG 72081( back up bottle) and I can say that the PUIG is nothing compare with the BPI one… PUIG is weak, doesn’t project as well like BPI and in my skin after 4 hours is a skin scent.. BPI is a really good performer and it lasts and lasts.

  52. :

    4 out of 5

This product has been ruined. It was a very long lasting scent but is now incredibly weak with little projection.
    Extremely disappointing 🙁

Adding to my earlier review. You want the BPI version. Any PUIG formulations are rubbish in longevity and sillage.. the sillage being what makes this one so wonderful. I’d compare the Puig vs BPI to the newer formulations of One Million to the Original. You get the smell for 30mins then it’s a skin scent.

I’ve had my bottle of Ultra Male (BPI) for almost a year now. Mostly sitting on the shelf and sprayed every now and then, and performance has improved considerably over time. So don’t give up to early on your “weak” perfumes, they might just need some break in time.

  58. :

I think how good a certain fragrance is, is determined by how good it makes me feel wearing it. When wearing Ultra Male, it makes me feel not ultra but alpha male. The scent is amazing and almost girly, but that is exactly what makes a guy even more masculine. Currently my favorite fragrance.

  59. :

    3 out of 5

Reveal for Men has the same character of Ultramale, on my skin it has an enormous longevity (up to 11 hours) with heavy to moderate projection. It is inexpensive, very sweet good for cool temps (it is too heavy for hot temps and real summer, unless in air conditioned rooms).Wear 2 sprays max, as Reveal Man (as Ultramale) can become cloying.

FragBoy Stewie is the one to blame for classing this as the “club king” just to try and make a name for himself and cause a stir and look like a hero. This is the biggest load of crap known currently to man behind humanity going to the moon. My dad is 54! I’ll repeat that and write it out in letters FIFTY FOUR! And loves this and wears it daily and he’s never stepped foot in a Club. It fits so many situations other than just trashy clubs. If you gave it chance and actually had a mind of your own and don’t always listen to people who think their opinion is the be all and end all just because they picked up a camera and made a YouTube account then you might be pleaseantly suprised. If you think this is only suitable for the clubs then that’s your loss and it’s probably just not the scent for you but to label it something like that in the first place is fairly ridiculous just because it’s a bit sweet. Try and smell this on someone else because of course it’s sweet when your nose is shoved right up to your arm. It’s actually quite spicy in the air with the cinnamon. I get triggered when reading how this is girly etc. Other than that a gorgeous fragrance that I will miss but will most likely replace with acqua e zucchero when i finish this sexy juice.

This is one of my absolute favorites. It’s just flat out delicious smelling, and I could see it being a very nice fragrance to wear on a date. It opens with an immediate blast of vanilla and pear, along with cinnamon, that is just sexy. A strange combination to be sure, but it works big time. For me it never really changes from that and stays linear. In my opinion it doesn’t have the spice that Le Male has and is it’s own spray. Better IMO
It projects very well and can be smelled from around 8-10 ft away easily. It also lasts quite a while, 7-8 on my bare skin. Be careful not to over spray this, 3 sprays max, as it really is a beast out the gate and hours afterwards.
Honestly can’t say enough about this, but I would warn that summer usage is probably a no go. I could see this type of scent not mixing well with the hot weather, sweaty skin. If you’re looking for a good, cool nights date fragrance, this is the one.
It is somewhat feminine, but I don’t feel it is too feminine to wear for men at all. Your girl certainly won’t think you smell feminine in my opinion. I have yet to test it with my special someone, and I’m hoping she likes it.
10/10 Simply because it’s so successful at being the type of fragrance it is supposed to be. A sexy, attention grabbing, cool weather, instant chic magnet. Personally can’t wait for my girlfriend to smell this on me, because I think she may love it, and if she does I’m buying a bigger bottle. LOVE YOU NAB

Puig France bottle, manufactured in July 2017.
Longevity is good, but projection is gone after 1-2 hours. The scent is still great.
I bought a travel atomizer for this, so I can reapply whenever I need to.

In following from my comments below, some might prefer the PUIG version being less intense but still performing well. Not everyone wants to fill a room especially when it’s a very ‘metro’ fragrance.. just my opinion. I own both and use both for different occasions.

Hey Najam, I can speak for the BPI and the PUIG made in France versions- I’m yet to see a made in Spain one. The BPI has huge sillage and longevity, where the PUIG made in France is still pretty good just not a monster like the BPI. I wouldn’t read too much into it though as I know from personal experience a lot of the reviews I’ve seen on fragrantica couldn’t be further from the truth ie. I have a 2012 batch Versace Eros and a 2017 batch and there is zero difference in smell or longevity. As always try and test fragrances yourself.
BPI batch 62381 10/10 longevity and sillage
PUIG batch 72081 8/10 longevity and sillage

Meh, what a disappointment…..I paid $86 for a bottle that people, again and again, over-hyped. This is nothing like Le Male or Cuba Gold. I don’t own a bottle of Le Male but I do have 1.7oz Cuba Gold. The fact that this scent is just straight up “bubble gum”. Super linear, no-depth. The same vibe as Eros. Since is so hard to find a performing original Le Male, I’m just going to pick up a big bottle of Cuba Gold. Cuba Royal is just as good as Gold. It is what it is. Peace.
Edit: boys and girls, save your money and find a vintage Le Male. I have a 2012 bottle and le male blows this out the water. Or for $10 grab a bottle of Cuba Paris Gold.
This is a 2016 bottle btw. I’ll trade it for a bottle of AHSEE EDT.

A sniff of this took me back to my grandmother’s kitchen on winter weekends. The scent of my caramel custard mingling with the smell of the adults’ herbal liqueur as they sat chatting after a sunday lunch. Not a scent I would wear, but I would not mind it on somebody else in cold weather.

Solid choice for the cold winter. HOWEVER today I took a 12 hour train to Chicago and it was about 70 -75 degrees inside the train and as I was relaxing in my seat I kept getting wiffs of a sickeningly sweet cloying perfume. For the first 6 hours I thought it was the old lady sitting right besides me. An hour later, I sniffed the inside of my shirt cuz I was so damn curious and realized it was coming from my ultra male! The scent is COMPLETELY different In warmer weather it almost made me wanna vomit

Smells young and handsome, enormous longevity.
It is cinnamon-spicy and creamy, nod towards Eastern-oriental side. Perfect for clubbing, holidays, dates, but NOT for office use. Nice fragrance.

I just bought the 125ml bottle from a chemist and it’s reference number is 4786350 and XCY03 X from BPI (Made In France). Oh such a sweet burst of pear (the cinnamon mixed with it makes it smell like an apple pie). The peppery spices are present too. It smells wonderful.

Mine is 2016 BPI version with only numbers and this is the strongest performing fragrance I’ve ever had. Even one spray sometimes feels too much.
