Sunflowers Elizabeth Arden for women of Elizabeth Arden

Share:

Description

Floral fruity fragrance launched in 1993. It was designed by David Apel. The top notes are composed of luminous lemon notes, rosewood, orange blossom, sweet juicy mandarin, bergamot, melon, and sweet peach.

The heart brings notes of cyclamen, rose, pure jasmine, osmanthus and iris root. The sensual base is composed of musk, cedar, amber, moss and sandal wood. The joyous sunflowers make a nice contribution to this bright fragrance.

“…I remember the first time I smelled this on a test strip, early summer of 1993. I kept the strip in my desk drawer the entire summer. The smell reminds me of an intense era of self-discovery in my adolescence…”
    Valencias, I love your review!

I’ve had a bottle of this on and and off since it first exploded onto the scene in the 1990’s. Everyone and their dog was wearing tons of the stuff, everywhere.
Today I like it. It’s nice when time passes and that which is on everyone’s shelf becomes more and more obscure, like with Sunflowers.
Sunflowers was easily the La Vie Est Belle of it’s day (THE TWO SMELL NOTHING ALIKE, I’m comparing the products’ popularity and all the hype).
This being late Summer, I find this a perfect lazy Sunday scent. It is bright, yellow florals and sunshine. I find this one to be a performance powerhouse (three sprays last for hours and hours) and the value is superb. Though it’s probably not a safe blind buy, it’s definitely worth looking into for its historic value as well as for the sunny, happy fragrance itself.

I need a million bottles of this so I never run out… I’m so addicted to this scent. I have no idea why; all I know if that every time I wear this I feel so happy and uplifted.
Honestly I’m terrible at picking up notes… It either smell good, great, i’m in love or hell the fuck NO.
This perfume I am MADLY IN LOVE WITH…. I have two bottles and a half right now… I will be ordering more very soon….

Sun cream smelling, not risky, fresh, floral woman perfume. Suits well to spring, summer days. Poor sillage and longevity. Really smells sun cream. Edt. Everyone can use. Not so expensive, under 100 turkish liras in Turkey. After 1-2 hour it blows up.

Smells warm, ancient, earthy and woody… I think the tittle “Sunflower” suits the scent well

I wanted this badly in 1994 but my parents thought I was too young for perfume. Sunflowers smells like L´eau d´Issey and sugared pink lemonade. I suppose it is good for summer time. I don´t enjoy wearing it now as I had a full bottle of Issey Miyake which I used all up and grew tired of its strong ozonic-ness. I stuffed Sunflowers in an old handbag so I don´t have to look at it.

Melon.. melon.. melon..!

Peach with a sprinkle of light florals on top…very bright…very cheap fragrance (don’t pay more than $10!) that gives you a lot of bang for the buck…fun and flirty and quite the mood lifter…a big like, not a big love, but for the price it’s so worth having in your collection…

A bright, pretty, mood lifter of a fragrance. A lovely blind buy I bought because I love sunflowers and I love cheapies 😉 I don’t particularly think this smells like a sunflower though, I get mainly sunny yellow roses with a syrupy fruity undertone.
It’s easy for rose fragrances to come across as too “mature” or matronly but I find this to be an age-appropriate fragrance for me (early 30s) and could see much younger women wearing this too as well as older women. Sunflowers is just a pleasant, overall inoffensive sweet scent.
It’s strong too, you get a lot of bang for your buck. I bought a 3.3 oz for $5 on Ebay and this performs better than some far more expensive perfumes of mine.

I would recommend this fragrance for grandmothers. The grandchildren will love it. You do not have to offer a real garden for them to play in, for an olfactory experience. Just put this on and spin around with some creamtea, and I am sure they will come back for more.

It’s quite an inoffensive fragrance. It’s fruity sweet, fresh and cheery. On me, I mostly smell lots of melon and a mix of florals, pleasant, but not my first pick. There’s just something about it that I find boring, like I can only wear it so many times in a row before I’m about ready to give it away. That aside, while I generally don’t like layering, for this I find that it layers quite well with other fruity perfumes and lotions.

It’s nice and fresh everyday summer perfume. It’s kinda hard for me to see how this would overwhelm or offend anyone or provoke intense love or hate, like some reviews show. Must be the memories and images attached to it, rather than the scent. It’s weak rather than strong and lasting power is not that great on me. I’m not good at telling the notes, I think it smells a little like honeydew melon and some flowers.

bright aquatic citrus floral with lemon, orchid, neroli, osmanthus and some sandalwood then a hint of musk and oakmoss

It smells like “sponge” from inside sunflowers’ stalks + honey + aquatic melon note, like hands after picking sunflower seeds (=summer).

This one reminds me a lot of Liz Claiborne Original on first whiff. I get a strong fruity note. Bright. Fresh. Not bad, but hardly a unique scent.

I like the name, but I think ‘dandelions’ sums this perfume up more. It’s a bright, happy little scent that makes me think of sunshine on the grass and daisy chains after rains have soaked the trees. There’s something of wet wood and wildflowers in it. Whimiscal, childlike.
A great little pick me up scent for when you miss the summer days of childhood or the flowers aren’t there anymore.

this smells exactly like sunflowers and honey.. so far I love it. going to enjoy wearing this at the cottage in the summer with my flip flops, jean shorts. 🙂

This is absolutely amazing classic scent! It lasts forever as well. It’s not a typical fruity fragrance it’s very well balanced with the flowers and that amazing woody base. I can definitely smell peach, rose and for some strange reason I can smell honey… and I know honey is not in the notes… still it’s an beautiful perfume for spring and summer, it’s fresh an creamy at the same time, an absolute gem!

This made me feel sick at first sniff, it’s too heavy with an overly ripe fruit smell. I thought it would’ve been more of a citrus scent!

Out of all the drug store perfumes my sisters and I shared as kids, I loved Sunflowers the most. I’ll agree that it is screechy, but it’s not bad at all. I’d argue that at least it’s easily recognizable in a sea indistinguishable fruity florals. It is nice for what you pay. What trips me out is I never looked up the note pyramid on Sunflowers, and up until now, I had always thought sunflowers were the main note in this perfume. I guess I don’t really know what the “sunflowers” note is supposed to smell like, but I had always just assumed it was this perfume, and that Sunflowers was basically a soliflor. I will say that because of the perception I had, they did an excellent job of creating a smell that embodied the feeling of being surrounded by bright early summer flowers. If your thinking about trying this one, expect loud summery flowers, with some fruit, and an overall happy scent.

Well, I am an oddball in that I do not like sunflowers (the actual flowers that so many seem to love), yet when a few bottles of “Sunflowers” showed up clearanced at TJM, I could not resist. I mean, this is sort of a classic, right..? So, I thought I would give this a chance.
While not an everyday fragrance for me (though I could see it being one for some folks), I do kind of enjoy this, it is like a guilty pleasure. The scent takes me back to my lovely elderly neighbor lady from my childhood, she had a beauteous sun room, brimming with flowers. Oh, how I loved sitting in that sun room with my childhood friend, gossiping about our latest boy crushes or what movies we wanted to go see. Simple times. It felt so nice sitting in that sun room, the warm bright sun beating through all of the large windows surrounding us, and with the flowers all around us, it was so relaxing.
I guess Arden’s Sunflowers is just that, a relaxing, sort of “zen” scent. Had I not had the experience of that beautiful sun room as a child, Arden’s Sunflowers likely would not be my cup of tea. But this is nice, a nice fresh change up on occasion. And bringing back a memory is always a sweet thing. Yes, I can see how this sort of smells “dated” to some, but maybe my older nose just appreciates this more.
Not a love, but definitely almost a like..a fun change of pace now and then and triggers a happy memory…And that part of this is a love. ❤️

When I was a teenager, I received this perfume several times as a gift. Back then, I never appreciated its notes. For me, it was always that annoying, fresh perfume in a cheap looking bottle. I must say I´m not that much into citrusy/fruity fragrances… I usually like heavy, winter fragrances with vanilla/spices/flower notes. But that scents are not suitable for hot summer days.
After years of not applying my Sunflower perfume, I was about to leave it in the restroom (almost full) to be used as an air freshener… I just spritzed it once on my hand to recall its scent. Wow! It was not that bad… actually, it was beautiful! A great, complex summer fragrance with interesting notes. I said to myself… no baby, no restroom… you are staying between my chanels and lancomes!
A very usable, pretty fragrance for casual summer days 🙂

I bought this beautiful perfume back in the 90thieths, and I loved it than, and I love it as much today. And, I must always spray it on me when I go to bed, it puts a smile on my face and I sleep well and have nice dreams =))

This is powdery, a bit earthy, a bit sweet. The opening smells happy, but later it develops into a heavy (not because of sillage, but because of the smell itself) and dated fragrance. And starts to smell a bit tired.
It reminded me a bit of Halle by Halle Berry. I got a similar vibe from that one.

    I think this smells great!
It is a very cosy scent.
I do get some clean musk and a very pleasent chamomile type of scent, that somehow almost feels powdery.
This makes me feel calm. There are only 3 scents that have a calming effect on me : Elizabeth Arden Sunflower, Guerlains Sharlimar and Chanels no 5.
This is what i wear AFTER a long day at work.
    I really love it!

I’m really suprised by how much hate this gets. It must be synthetic as I don’t smell a natural representation of the notes in it but it is warm and sunny, and really makes me think of yellow Sunflowers, turning towards the sun and soaking up its warmth.
It doesnt suit me personally, but I think it smells great on my sister who has a stronger, more outgoing personality.

I wore this a lot in the 90’s and loved it.
I received a gift set for Christmas (my family has figured out that I have a perfume “problem” and are gifting accordingly.)
I broke out the EDT today, and WOW! I don’t remember this being such a heavy hitter. Crazy, because I know I probably drowned in this back in the day. But back then I lived with my ex (smoker) and my best friend was a smoker too….so maybe that is why. My senses were dulled.
I had to be careful with the amount of sprays I used, but I loved wearing it! It still smells so fresh and floral! Exactly the way I remember. I smell peach and melon and all kinds of flowery goodness. Very wearable and fun. Sniffing it on my clothes and skin made me smile all day!

I wore Sunflowers around 1994. I wasn’t wild about it (maybe it was a gift?) but I received many compliments on it so it must have smelled good. I wore L’Eau d’Issey around the same period, which was similar, floral and aquatic with that very annoying marine/ozone chemical that nobody today can tolerate. Then, it was a new thing and in lots of fragrances. I dislike sunflowers for some reason, the cut flowers AND all those kitcheny sunflower patterned things. I have a real distaste for them. But this never reminded me of those.

I found a vintage bottle of this while volunteering at a local flea market and thought “Huh. I hated this in the 90s. I wonder if I still do?” Opened it and dislike confirmed, ugh. I envy people that have the chemistry to wear Sunflowers, I was never one of them. To me it reminds me of mean girls in high school and then into the mid 90s when everything was splattered with sunflower motifs and the halls of my college dorm often carried this scent mixed with pizza and cigarettes.

Perhaps I’m riding on the back of nostalgia but the name says it all really. It’s a sunny bright scent. It smells like the color yellow. It definitely flatters summer and sunny days too.
However, it certainly smells it’s price range (cheap), it also had a lipsticky note to do it which – isn’t terrible but it’s a bit odd
I wouldn’t wear this personally as it certainly doesn’t match me as a person but I’ll admit for what its trying to convey it works
I don’t dislike it or like it much, I just wouldn’t wear it on myself. But don’t let my review turn you away from trying it if you love cheerful , lively scents

There is something sharp and scratchy in this fragrance. I like it and I used to wear it in summer 20 years ago, but I never really loved it. It lacks some sensuality and although it is still easily available and affordable I won’t buy it again. I have bought the shower gel instead for a nice refreshing kick in the morning and using it I have realized that it is very similar to Fidji, the latter being complexer, more mellow and feminine.

I loved this as a teenager in the 90s many of my school friends wore it also. I wouldn’t wear it today, but every now and then I smell it on someone and it brings back many memories.

    Full disclosure: I’m biased.
My first college roommate (set up with me by some bizarre or nonexistent algorithm) would drench herself in this sharp, charmless fragrance in the mornings, before she applied coats of thick candy-pink lip gloss and smoked Marlboro Lights out the window.
She and I were not a match. I moved to a different room after a couple of months, but it felt longer.
Smelling this makes me want to run for the hills.

ISO original formulation so I can teleport to 1993 and smell my third grade teacher. The reform is so insulting to the original, it’s a crime.

    Elizabeth Arden’s classic 90’s in a bottle.
I was not young enough to enjoy this as a newcomer to fragrance nor as a high school-age sweetheart. But this was a fragrance that transcended age groups. Smells of a fresh citrus floral laundry detergent that just happens to be a perfume. It’s rather outdated and old school by the standards of today but it has the power to bring us back to happier more care-free times regardless of age. I have a vintage 1993 bottle that I have used at different times and never finished up.
This charmer opens with fruit notes very typical of 90’s perfume top notes. The melon is like a fresh watery watermelon note, somewhat aquatic but certainly very fresh and zesty with additional citrus notes. The mandarin, lemon, bergamot orange not to mention orange blossom are a winning combination. Smells like a fresh citrusy breeze in an orange grove. The sunflower theme really matches up with orange colors and hues, like the idea of smelling oversized sunflowers.
As the heart develops the multiple florals show up. To my nose this is mainly a rose and jasmine. But those flowers are major florals on their own terms. An apricot-scented osmanthus is clearly there and it smells wonderful next to the orange blossom. By definition this is a FRUITY FLORAL and one that was quite common in the 90’s but with a soapier and more powdery, relaxed and very comfortable casual air. This is not something to wear with business suits or formal evening wear. It’s so nonchalant that it’s suggestive of casual wear for women – a simple T shirt, top, a cashmere sweater, a neck scarf on a cool blouse made of gossamer fabric, and shorts, skirts, jeans. Nothing glamorous. Easy to wear and a daily perfume for morning or afternoon.
The dry down reveals woodsy notes and amber, quite a potent batch. It’s also redolent with oak moss and musk though the overall impression is that it is a woodsy perfume with cedar being dominant. The woodsy dry down is clean and soapy and inoffensive. The trick with this perfume is that you must not overspray otherwise it’s a killer perfume. The sweetness and powdery perfume is my type of fragrance despite it’s age.

It’s odd – the top notes of this are heavenly. As it dries down it becomes reminiscent of times when I have been cleaning my bathroom and have accidentally spilled cleaning products on my clothes. This could have been something special, then they wrecked it by adding industrial smelling heart and base notes. Too bad.

Hello from Deco Dawn this is my review of Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers. I got engaged to my husband in 1993 on the top of Monolithos, on the island of Rhodes, the sunset was spectacular. Sunflowers is happiness, love and Summer in a bottle. Try it you will love it.

This brings back many memories of a coming of age as you head out into the world ready to conquer it.
On finishing high school, my best friend and I each headed overseas before returning to start university. She to the Tropics and I to the big U.S.A.
As our summer break falls during the festive season it was my very first Christmas away from my home & family. On Christmas Day, my ‘Frisco’ cousins surprised me with a beautifully wrapped box inside a fancy Macy’s bag. What a joy it was to unwrap the beautifully wrapped box which could’ve been empty and I’d still be happy lol. Upon opening the box I was instantly wide-eyed at the bright yellow & white packaged gift set. Grinning from ear to ear and feeling a little speechless, I gently opened the package to remove the bottle and test it. Instantly, I was hit with a big unpleasant ‘note’, but I smiled through it, graciously thanked my cousins and expressed gratitude at their generosity. Throughout the remainder of my big OE, I tried to make myself bond with the scent but it was just not meant to be. Not wanting to hurt my cousins feelings, I would politely spray a very small amount when we went out, saying I wanted to treasure it. I even took the big Macys ‘shopping bag’ as carry on luggage rather than ‘squashing’ it in my suitcase when returning home lol.
Starting University, I couldn’t wait to meet up with my best friend and when we did, I smelt the most incredible but familiar scent on her.
She too had discovered Sunflowers while away but the scent was magical on her. It literally bloomed on her and the big ‘note’ which I absolutely loathed was very subtle and subdued on her. Unsurprisingly it became her signature scent and I fell in love with Chloe Narcisse. Haven’t smelt these again in years as I’ve moved on, but it would always remind me of some of the best times during those younger years.

If happiness and positivity was a scent then it will smell just like Sunflower. This is hands down my favourite scent of all time. When ever my nose catches a smell of this I immediately get butterflies in my stomach and good vibes rush through my body and puts a smile on my face for the rest of the day. No other perfume has ever made me feel that way. In my opinion i can see a primary school or play school teacher wearing this. U know the one who has a warm and friendly personality who lights up the room and is dress so beautifully and respectful. For instance Ms Honey from Matilda.

This is my all time favorite scent of a woman. I still remember the intoxicating effects my teenage girlfriend put on me back in the 90’s wearing this stuff.
Then, years later, I remember being heart struck any time I caught some waft of it, not knowing what it was yet. One day, I found the courage to ask a woman who was wearing it the brand.
Today, I realize the power of scent memory because there just isn’t any other frag for women that does this for me. It’s love in a bottle.

Great sent for summer. It goes well on my skin, but I have to be in the mood to wear. On a warm day I feel like being casual I will wear it.

  45. :

Nice one, very warm and even hot sometimes, especially when helped by temperatures outside. Could sense also some bitter sweet fruits, the lemony melon possibly. Still, liked it more on sniffing than on actually wearing it. Maybe because my skin does not adopt this frag in the most friendly manner. In a nutshell, fairly enjoyable, worth a try if you are into most ingredients listed, but nothing stellar or outstanding.

It was one of those scented cards that you rub that I got as a teenager back in the 90s. I couldn’t have enough of that smell! Sunflowers do not smell like that but the flower embodies the essence of summer! The fragrance was so sunny, happy and uplifting! I really madly truly loved it, rubbed it until I almost made a hole in that card and wished I could have a full bottle of that light yellow fluid in my possession!
… 20 years later I finally got myself first a mini then a 30ml bottle of the current formulation and then a full bottle of vintage juice. Just because dreams must come true!!!
Since my teenage years my tastes in perfumes have developed and changed (though I still love it but mostly as part of my memory) and I must confess I have not worn this perfume in public a single time… This is not a crowd-pleaser… and I still have to work on my “don’t-give-a-f♡♡k” attitude to wear what I want in public.
Anyway, I have put half a squirt of both the current and the vintage versions on my wrists to compare. I personally do find slight differences in both the smell and the performance. The vintage juice smells exactly how I remember it! It’s fresher than the current formulation, which becomes sweeter and loses almost all the typical freshness of this perfume rather quickly while the vintage stays true to its initial smell for quite some time. In terms of sillage and longevity the original formulation wins the battle yet again.
I am happy to reunite with my Sunflowers after so many years!

i absolutley love this perfume was wearing it in 1998 when i met and maried my husband. so it is nastalgic for me but more that that i love the deep floral smell and the amber warmness. it takes me away to a simple lazy beautifily warm summer day one of the best cheaper perfumes theat i have ever owned. this will allways be one of my favorites !!!

I tested it just once and though I expected to dislike it,it wasn’t really that bad but I didn’t like it enough to buy it
It’s not an old scent IMO and while I can see it’s sunny vibe,it’s warm and also wearable year round.it wasn’t a strong scent on me.it was loud when first sprayed but soon sillage lowered to soft and it didn’t last more than 4hours on my skin but I suspect that age of the tester bottle I sprayed from, may have influenced strength of scent
It opens as a cheerful fruity floral in the vein of 90s summery fruity florals.on my skin,it’s mostly a blend of melon, peach,a hint of sweet orange and florals.usually I hate melon but it’s not that ozonic, aquatic here so it doesn’t bother me.I can find the dusty peachy thing of 90s perfumes here too but it’s very light
as time passes fruits calm down a bit; drydown is mix of a peachy, sunny florals and some earthy, woody notes.to be honest,I can’t easily pickup individual notes no matter how much I try
All in all not bad for it’s price.it’s wearable nowadays IMO
    Edit:
I had the opportunity to try it once more..30 minutes after spraying sunflowers,it transforms to a lovely and soft floral scent in a warm and subtle woody base.still not a favorite but it’s pleasant

I keep wondering whether I should buy this. I never wore this in the 90’s, nor did my mother, but I do remember the smell from a sample in a magazine and I loved it. It reminds me of a summer camping trip when I was about 13 or 14 years old.
I don’t think I would really wear it now, though. Maybe around the house, but not to work or to meetings with friends. For that it smells to outdated I think.

This is a really sunny aroma. Youthful, cheerful, optimistic. Extremely smiling and carefree.
Opens up with something sweet, tight, tasty.
Smells of summer, sun, yellow, beach, sweet fruits.
For its low price the quality is excellent.
It is not alcoholic and cheap.
I recommend every lady for a carefree mood.

First sniff : ah! Not bad for a blind buy
But after wearing it for 10 minute, i feel so nauseous. It is giving me quite a headache. The whole day i wanted to come back home and take a shower to remove the smell. Its literary too bright.
But the ironic things is one of my friend said it smelled great on me .So i was okay let me try it again but nope its still gives me headache.
I would give it full marks for its sillage and longevity. But as for the smell 1/5

Smelling this perfume is as nostalgic as watching Full House while wearing a sequined scrunchie and bedazzling your backpack. It’s a pure distillation of the 90s in every way. Wear this one arm and CK Eternity on the other while watching 10 Things I Hate About You and suddenly it’s a simpler time.
As for the fragrance itself… it’s really not that terrible. I actually always liked it. If I smelled it on someone now I wouldn’t hate it, I’d laugh at the memory.

I feel that this perfume goes great with my chemistry, and it is one of the perfect summertime scents for me; it’s so lovely to wear on a hot summer day. I mainly get melon, cyclamen, peach, and a hint of lemon and it lasts around 6 hours on my skin. Sunflowers also is a nice mood-booster in that it instantly uplifts me and makes me happy when I put it on.

Sunflowers was my go to fragrance back in the mid 90’s. Loved this stuff! My first crush was actually my reasoning for buying it. About a month ago, I was reintroduced to Sunflowers by a friend of mine. I was so excited to see this again! She sprayed a little bit of Sunflowers on me and rather than taking me back to happier times of the 90’s and my first crush, I was appalled by the smell and was embarrassed that I actually thought this smelled good! Oh my I wish I could apologize to every person that I had worn this around! This was terrible.

Spring and summer are my favorite seasons, and I’m a June baby.. I love when the wildflowers bloom and you can smell them and the honeysuckle in the warm breeze on a warm, sunny day. It’s intoxicating and one of my very favorite smells, and this is IT in a bottle. Think of it like sitting on your porch on a sunny day in May while eating a big, juicy cantaloupe slice and enjoying the scent of blooming flowers and warm earth in the breeze. This is much more floral to me than fruity, but this is about as fruity as I can go before I start to smell rancid since really fruity stuff just doesn’t jive with my chemistry. This is identical to a sweet bouquet of fresh flowers to my uneducated nose. Sunflowers seems to have an almost aquatic feel, but if my perfume education so far has taught me anything, I’m guessing this aquatic quality is likely what makes the flower scent more realistic but still not exact. And I smell a LOT of honeysuckle in this, which is baffling since it isn’t listed. But I love honeysuckle..
This perfume makes me reminisce about my childhood, since it brings back pleasant memories of teenage girls I went to church with as a child in the 90’s. It also reminds me of the sunflowers my mom used to grow when I was little, and I would stand in front of them, in awe of their size and beauty. Lasts all day for me and projects beautifully! It makes me feel happy and carefree, or like I’m in a Blind Melon music video. Either way, I love love love it.

This doesn’t smell like sunflowers, but it does smell like my childhood. I remember my mom buying this bottle and at the time, I adored it. Very much in line with other perfumes of the time, synthetic smelling and loud. The peach sits up at top for me, and some rose. But overall, just really 90s. I mean, regardless of whether or not it has any appeal, it’s completely stuck in time and not in a good or interesting way. Maybe the 90s are still too fresh in my memory bank, but this has no appeal to me outside of pure nostalgia. 3.5/10

It’s very strong, it is still on my shirt 2 days later and the entire laundry bag smells it now.
It’s very happy, loud, however very “chemical” (which was a common thing for very late 80s – early 90s, before “ozonic” breezy perfumes took the stage.
Look at the price – you shouldn’t have much expectation :).

I did not like the fragrance at all. It smelled synthetic and hair spray kinds. I used it as a toiler freshener. A total waste of money.

The 90’s scent of so many moms. I’m sure there are a ton of women who won’t give up on it and still wear this, but I have not smelled it on anyone in years. Sunflowers were a thing in the 90’s. They were on hats, shirts, and home decor. I remember them being all over the place. It’s no surprise that eventually a perfume was named after them, but it’s not a light and sunny floral. This has depth to it from the rosewood. I don’t think it’s long lasting, and the sillage/projection is more of a cologne than an edt or eau de parfum. It’s still sold on the Elizabeth Arden site at full price, but this is at so many stores for under $15.

I wore this many times since it first came out. This is a perfume I like to keep in my collection. It is a bright yellow sunshine smell, a happy smell. Every xmas the stores sell it in gift boxes but for 2 years now I haven’t seen it in the stores. I still have a big bottle but I know one day I will want to buy it again. When did they reformulate? I remember one bottle not smelling quite the same like my usual Sunflowers. I don’t want a reformulated one.

Wild flower fields, butterflies, bees buzzing, warm rays of sun, gentle breeze, trees swish. Oh summer how I miss you. Sunflowers gives me the feeling of a lovely summer day, even in the middle of winter. It’s more like aroma therapy to me than perfume, reminds me of timothy grass and clover. I must wear it more often, it gives me such a good feeling.

Like many many many fragrances by Eliz Arden; treat this as an “after shower” spray and it’s peachy.
Think of it as Jean Nate 2017 and beyond.

This is just a nice fragrance. Always was and still
is. Can be found at good price for the most part as well.

Girly, fun, flirty and cute. Not very sophisticated or mature. Not something i would wear if i wanted to ozze confidence. More playful and teens like

Hee. Right up my alley. Who needs glitz or excess to have a good time? Warm and sunny and not the slightest bit juvenile. Why can’t they make them like this anymore?

This is L’Eau de Issey pour homme with weak projection and longevity. I do get a trace of CK’s Escape, which is a pity as Escape’s been one of my favourite scents, and I’d be happier to have it more. Overall, this reminds me of when you wake up on a cold winter morning, open the windows and inhale deeply (those who live in the mountainous areas without pollution will probably get my association). Beautiful.
    Edit:
    Drydown is all Escape &am
