Description
The masculine fragrance Strictly Jil Sander was launched in fall 2015, in response to the success of the women’s version Simply Jil Sander from 2014. This line of fragrances embodies Jil Sander’s fashion; simple cuts, in a made to measure fit, with a refined and elegant style. The new edition of the fragrance comes out a year later, as an elegant evening version named Strictly Night.
Strictly Night combines spicy, cool floral and warm oriental, woody aromas. The composition begins with a burst of black pepper, develops with a heart of violet, and ends with an intense woody base of vetiver, providing it with a distinctive and modern signature.
The bottle of clear lines is colored in sleek gray and black. The fragrance is available as a 40, 60 and 80 ml Eau de Toilette with shower gel and deodorant stick. Strictly Jil Sander Night was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is Sonia Constant.

Very much in keeping with strictly and not particularly heavy. The pepper has been amped up so it feels drier and woodier but it looses the nice aromatic green quality of the original.. There’s still a good dose of vetiver here. Overall a little disappointing if you’re hoping for a heavy hitter but still worth trying. The bottle is sexy with a white spray top hidden under that black cap.

could have made, yes its that nice in
fact, the only problem i have with
the scent is that the pepper is so
realistic i cant stop sneezing and

This is a great seduction and date night fragrance. A splashed of seasoned black pepper which is fresh in a way. After 15-35 mins that pepper scent becomes subdue and you get a hint of violet. The vetiver really holds this fragrance down and it is very noticeable but not dirty. The vetiver also brings the pepper back in too. This is a date night scent or close encounter. You will get 6-8 hrs of longevity. Sillage is moderate with 1-2 hrs of strong projection then it draws nearer to you. This is what in my opinion and complements from other that this is an alluring type manly scent that they will want to smell over an over again.

Due to some marketing campaign I received a sample of the STRICTLY NIGHT shower gel. I have to admit it was great.
Although all I could sense was the pepper, it is the vetiver and the violet leaf that hold the fragrance together – there’s no doubt about it. But unfortunately the vetiver and violet have faded in the background and so stage is left for only the pepper.
It resembles immensely to ‘BURBERRY THE BEAT’ and that is why I don’t know if I would buy it (the longevity and price of THE BEAT are great).

All in all: 7 out of 10 points (because it resembles The Beat)
