I guess it is probably useless to review a musk that is meant to smell different to everyone and on everyone… But why not.
On me this musk is appearing and disappearing out of focus a little like JHAG Not a Perfume. But when I do smell it it is mostly a sweet Floral laundry musk, not a dirty one and not a musty one. To me it smells nothing like TBS white musk which is woodsier and drier and it is not as Floral as Jovan White Musk. It’s simply a very modern musk. Not to assign genders to scents but.. yeah… A bit feminine. If you don’t already own a musk scent and enjoy contemporary minimalism in fragrances, this is a really good one and at a much better price point than other niches who like to think it’s ok to sell a single aroma chemical scent for $150 a pop.
Edit: I tried this again on another day and a different part of my body and I got a citrusy, nag champa-like floral musk. Very interesting!! I feel like this is even better value because of that. A chameleon perfume!
It is really rare that I disagree with Sherapop… I find TBS White Musk to be so dated on my skin (aka the old Jovan musks) while the DSH is crisp, fresh and definitely modern on me (a bit like the new wave of abstract musks like JHAG Not A Perfume).

I have a sample vial from Indie Scents which reads DSH Formula X. As far as I can tell, this is basically white musk. I believe that it is intended to enhance one’s personal skin scent?
All musk perfumes these days are synthetic, so there’s probably no extra reason to buy this one from DSH. It smells fine, but The Body Shop’s is probably just as good for someone looking for a simple white musk. DSH perfumes are not expensive, but The Body Shop’s are downright cheap.
I should add, however, that I am not that big on musk personally, so I’m probably not the best judge of the possible shades and nuances to be found in side-by-side comparisons of today’s white musk perfumes…
