Again it’s the BBQ effect that is in “Interlude Man” by Amouage that is called musk. More of a spices and dirty vetiver with some soapy note and chilies. I can’t sense any oud or ambergris, more spice, spice, and plenty of spices.
The BBQ essence weakens after few minutes and stays at the back, then the myrrh & chilies comes in front and causes hotness that makes my eyes watery somehow! but the dirty vetiver remains still somehow with that soapy effect.
I had high hopes, but it wasn’t as i expected, and BTW Al-Madina’s musk doesn’t smell like this!
Edit (15th Sept 2017) i guess i was mistaken with the BBQ, this is spicy at max with myrrh, and ambergris. Some dirty vetiver is there as well blended with geranium. Kind of blessing.
