I’ve had more thoughts on this fragrance and I think I might add it to my wardrobe. Something about it’s cheery, lightweight nature that completely epitomizies the 1990’s and I’m quite nostalgic about that decade. I also finally get the Mark Birley comparisons and I’d even go more specific and say Skinwear smells a great deal like elemi resin. Do you know why I’ve had this revelation? Because I over sprayed like a man possessed and I think it’s essential to do so in order for me to get this fragrance on any level. Now I do.

An interesting EDt full of in my mind more limes than lemons, and contains a powdery dry down a bit similar to cerutti. All in all a unique EDT unfortunately has a slight rubbery whif to it, but that is forgiveable, think it is becoming a summer classic in the U.K..

On a hot day after a shower this is totally refreshing zingy citrusy fragrance totally unique really wakes me up in the mornings zesty blast it’s available very reasonable price if it lasted a little longer it would be awesome. I still love it. Been using it for years in summer.

I completely forgot i had this one until i saw someone mention it on a forum somewhere. It’s not a bad little fragrance but nothing out of this world. I remember wearing it one day at work and i was really hot and sweaty and thought i smelt like someones harris but somehow got a compliment from some woman. I was so shocked by this compliment that i pretty much frowned in disbelief since i couldn’t actually smell the fragrance on me. She even asked me what it was. Can’t be too bad then if it gets a compliment even when you’re sweating like a kebab!

I’ve never been sure of what to make of this fragrance and I’ve been aware of it since it’s release, I think it’s simply because it’s so slight. If you spray this on a card you can barely smell it and similar to it’s name, on skin it becomes a very subtle skin scent.
The opening is a bright smelling lemon & lime citrus and oriental woods, which lends itself to an almost Japanese incense type of feel, modern and synthetic. The main component for me is the juniper which gives this a refreshing G’n’T effect on a bed of cedar & musk.
The overall feel is very airy and translucent and I kinda think Ted Baker represents ‘fresh’ in skinwear better than most.
I actually have tried this on many occasions over the years, originally liking it, then forgetting about it, then trying it again recently and thinking it was awful. However, upon revisiting again I’ve flip-flopped yet again and don’t think it’s too bad, especially considering current releases and fragrance trends this seems like a 90’s throw back.
Oh yeah longevity is poor but you could do worse than reaching for this on a very hot day.

This is a gorgeous fragrance, I love it, real mix of Lime and wood, it is no nice, stays around for a good while, doesn’t project hugely, but it does enough. I avoided this because I thought this was going to be quite generic, far from it, lots of love for this one.

Looking at the notes, you just think “Oh, bring on the next generic citrus” But uh-uh, lo and behold, this comes off as extremely juicy and zesty! Every note seems either freshly squeezed or freshly cut! From fruit to wood. Though the base has that reminder of the classical “muskuline” scent.
Look in the mirror, squirt this juice, and be prepared for a surprised face! I do this in the mornings when I need to wake myself up. Gets me every time! Since I got this, the coffee consumption has halted significantly.

The cool thing about this fragrance is that theres no clone of it! Even though its a cheapie i’ve never smelt anything like it, i get tonnes of compliments when i wear it.
Its nice in the summer but great in the winter too.
The mix of rosemary, mint, cypress, lemon and sandlewood all at once creates a great mix. Its a fresh woody with a hint of soap.
Totally worth buying in my opinion.

This Citrus powerhouse has amazing staying power, a good 12 hours plus on me.
The top notes really dominate and the base is rather shy to appear.
It doesnt smell very natural, but a decent daytime, after gym or office fragrance

Initially this smells quite nice. Citric notes that dry down to a more subtle, warmer, gently woody scent.
As it dries down there is an odd note I don’t like that just bothers me. Doesn’t completely ruin the fragrance but puts me off.
The odd note is a kind of synthetic, cheap new shoes crossed with a cheap soap smell. If that note did not annoy me the fragrance would be OK.
It would make a good summery gentle freshen up scent.
Projection is pretty poor and longevity is not very good. It is quite weak – I used 6+ sprays rather than my usual 2 and it didn’t last very well at 4 hours.
    Not awful but can’t recommend.
