Description

“The time has come to visit one of the purest, wildest and least known locations on earth: Siberia. Surviving temperatures of minus 50 degrees Celsius, Whilst surrounded by tall, majestic pine trees blanketed with smoky snow, The blessed kiss of a musk deer, Hints of fresh bergamot, sweet mandarin and juicy lime to remind you of summer, The smoke without fire, And a wild desire for a hot cup of tea. Bubbling, cool galbanum on charcoal, and frozen orange flower, Smoking cinnamon stick, Amber resin flowing down a wooden wall, Dry, warm patchouli and clove in your tea. This is… Blue, freezing early morning, and you fully covered in Siberian aura. Survived. Reborn. Fresh. Happy.

The scent of Siberian Musk will please a person of any age and gender who seeks a uniquely fresh, spicy, slightly animalic scent, conjuring up images of the wild, forested lands of Siberia. Each level of this aromatic poem has been carefully blended with the utmost care, respect and love, over a long period of time, through a process that consisted of multiple stages. Siberian Musk is limited to a number of one hundred, full 50ml bottles. This limitation is a result of the rare ingredients being used and is the only solution to avoiding batch inconsistency.” – a note from the brand.

Siberian Musk by Areej Le Doré is a Woody Chypre fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Siberian Musk was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Russian Adam. Top notes are bergamot, lime, indian mandarin, siberian pine, exotic fruits and citruses; middle notes are natural musk, orange blossom, sandalwood, galbanum, cypress and spices; base notes are agarwood (oud), cypress, patchouli, amber, vetiver and musk.

Siberian Musk will not be for everyone. Those willing to try it and spend time getting to know it will receive the King’s ransom equivalent of a rewarding experience.
Let me start by saying that this is, without question, the best musk fragrance I have ever encountered. Additionally, this is one of the great performers I have had on my skin. I get 2 days of noticeable performance with this. No joke. It is everlasting stuff but the projection is quite soft and the sillage extremely refined. Off the top, you get a sweet, creamy musk that is simply unrivalled in it’s richness, depth and complexity. The creamy, animalic smoothness of this blend defies a decent description. Hints of sandalwood, citrus, pine and immortelle are constantly going in circles, all underpinned by the unbelievably creamy musk. In the modern age of perfumery, a fragrance like this will always garner and deserve a reputation as an otherworldly scent. It’s as if this perfume is one of a handful made by a professional and most of the rest are made by a nursery class of children. It’s that good.
It is a testament to the skill of Russian Adam that this fragrance, despite being limited to 100 bottles, will be talked about in hushed, reverent tones for many years to come. Another testament to the impact that this fragrance has had on me is the fact that I can no longer tolerate the synthetic “musks” that are commonplace in commercial perfumery. Once you smell something like this, you cannot go back. Having had it for the best part of a year now, I am simply blown away by the quality of the scent and extremely regretful that we will never see a formulation close to this again.
Make no mistake people, this is mastery of the highest order. Even Henry Jacques cannot beat this on quality. I am extremely proud to own this and I will guard it carefully as well as using it sparingly until kingdom come. It really is such a shame that everyone cannot own a bottle of this.

Siberian Musk is the best musk perfume I’ve ever smelled. I tried this perfume with some trepidation. I have a love/hate relationship with musk, and it’s often awful on my skin. But Russian Adam uses only the best, real musk and his perfumes are so exquisite. Like all the others, this one is breathtaking.
It opens with cold, brisk conifer branches from the Siberian forest, a place that that beckoned to Adam as his inspiration. This frosty pine is contrasted by an animalic accord – real, ethically sourced, deer musk from native animals. This sexual, dusky accord radiates sensuality, and is joined by natural ingredients blended to perfection. Warm and cool pairing is repeated with the secondary brightness of mandarin/bergamot against cheese/spice notes. I can sense jasmine in the drydown, made erotic by the musk, the real headliner.
This is musk of perfume fantasy. Its gorgeous, hedonistic ardor brought into focus by comparison with wintery pine. You can tell from the ecstatic reviews that it’s sensational. This perfumer only makes small batches of each perfume, and then it’s gone. Siberian Musk is already sold out, hopefully another version will be out soon!

This fragrance is so potent and strong. When I first inhale this fragrance I knew its going to be special. I dont know if the notes listed are right .But this suppose to have deer musk to it. Which is hard to make into a fragrance. Very expensive and rare. I heard they only make 100 of this fragrance because the notes are hard to make. Im glad i got a small decant of this masterpiece. Last and last on my skin its like oil with huge projection. Pure concentrated juice with an attitude. Will update this fragrance after giving more wearing.

Immediately upon spraying it feels like you are in a cloud of scent. It is not like most perfumes today where you wear them on you, no, this creates a beautiful veil around the wearer.
The atmosphere it conveys is of olden times, in the best possible way, but it is also sparkling and new. It has a certain poetry to it, with different textures and layers: silky and honeyed, hand-polished wood, the light dustiness of particles floating in shafts of daylight, a rich and slightly creamy fleshiness, and the texture of clean and delightful pubic hair.
Avoiding the temptation of naming ingredients, I think it is more interesting to point out how well this perfume is blended, creating its own unique smell. This is the best compliment I could give any perfume: the final blend takes on its own magical, unique identity rather than conveying recognisable parts.
Siberian Musk is like a new skin for the wearer, a delicious improvement. You are now a new animal. Sexier, warmer, more friendly, more zestful, more embraceable…
    A delight.

If you like vintage Kouros and might want a variation on that theme, this is worth sampling. Unlike some other recent attempts at that sort of scent, this one doesn’t have any distracting elements (such as metallic or “chemical” qualities), nor a note that doesn’t seem to belong. A possible “urinal cake” masterpiece here, which is obviously not appealing to the majority these days.

Siberian Musk from the house of Areej Le Dore brings back a dream in reality, the dream of relishing fragrances, made with natural ingredients. I count among the 100 people who own one of the Siberian Musk bottles and I feel lucky. Siberian Musk is an artistic creation that offers an experience both through the uniqueness of ingredients used and the innovation of how oud oil is distilled.
The fragrance opens with bergamot and citrus flavors with a maximum intensity, then after 3-4 hours the musk’s animal side is intensely revealed, not disturbing but beautifully embraced by the other ingredients in the composition, like sandalwood and spices. After drying down on skin, you can feel the oud, amber and patchouli associated with the image of a Siberian taiga in Russia during the summer when everything is fresh and green and the vegetation comes alive. Siberian Musk has a medium to high intensity on my skin, on clothes and on hair the smell lasts for a long time. Thank you Russian Adam for the unique experience offered by this artwork.

What happened when talent, vision and audacity came together. A supremely wearable real musk fragrance with vintage chypre-like undertones, It feels like the softest mink coat redolent of a vintage perfume from yesteryear. But if you’re after dirty animalic musk this is definitely not for you. Too bad…for you.
Siberian Musk was a labour of love by an artist who spared no efforts to scour the world for the best ingredients. The result speaks for itself. I was among the lucky few to snag a bottle before all 100 sold out within 3 months.
This is the fragrance Roja Dove would probably kill to have in his stable. Exclusive to Harrods of course, and priced upwards of $5,000. Sorry Roja, it’s already sold out. Only the perfumer knows if he will craft another batch.

This is a perfect masterpiece in and of itself, but @pinkster 56 gave me the idea to layer Siberian Musk with Maai. Ermagerd, I’m dead! Amazing combo.

I am utterly in love with this scent! It is the most authentic and 3D rendering of true musk that I have ever smelled. I only wish I had the wherewithal to purchase every last bottle made, and hoard them all for the rest of my life. If this sounds extreme, I don’t know what to say, other than the combination of notes here speaks to me in a way that no other perfume ever has. It is both beautifully alluring and genuinely animalic–which is a rare combination in the perfume world. If I had to be more specific, I would say it smells like a combination of Muscs Koublai Khan and Diaghilev, with a dash of a greatly softened and rounded Maai (by Bogue). But in truth, it is more layered and wonderful than any of these. There is something utterly vintage-smelling about this and as it dries down it becomes almost honeyed and muskily-furred, reminiscent of an elixir worn by an ancient animal-deity. It is rare that I gush over a fragrance in this way, but this is a one-in-a-million scent.

The best perfume world has seen in ages. Period. It has all the elements of a classic chypre from the golden days of perfumery. Creativity: infinite and unregulated. Starts off with a blast of powdered citrus and floral powder. Then the dark animal musk unleashes a sensual extravaganza and transports me into medieval era. What remains of it within a few hours is the authentic erotic note of deer musk. It’s magical and extraordinarily beautiful. Pure velvet. No musk fragrance has ever given me this pure thrill the closest was Diaghilev by Roja but this one has failed all the artists I ever considered great. The whole perfume blooms and opens in layers with a slow pace. Small burts of olfactory pleasure keeping the wearer puzzled. It lasts on skin and clothes for an eternity. With half a spray you can achieve all this. I never knew this side of Russiam Adam. I was always a fan of his pure Oud oils but this has stunned me. I ordered this and Oud Zen within hours of testing my samples. If this were cheaper I d buy alreast 3 bottles. Because I know no one in thw regulated world of perfumes will ever be able to create an olfactory masterpiece of this sort. Grab it if you crave the most unadulterated classic chypre experience.
