This is an incense/myrrh-light citruses based scent, absolutely unisex, smooth, light and ethereal suitable for summer day and night.
Sancti is the weakest scent from this house that I’ve tried especially the sillage and the projection. It is a beautiful skin scent suitable for very high temperatures.
Dominant notes according to my nose are incense, myrrh,  bergamot, cypress, mild fir balsam. The rest notes are light. I do not get aldehydes. Moderate longevity but above the average with soft sillage and projection.
Just about 2 hours before it dies it bocomes a wonderful floral incense skin scent.

minus the ginger and vanilla notes, you get “metal absolu” by jardin de france for about 100 dollars less.
of course sancti is way better.

Oh… no words. Well, maybe I can try.
Sancti is fully holy, reverent, pure.
It is light and peace in a bottle.
Peppery sacred frankincense, fir and citrus predominate; grapefruit but not too astringent, more like the cushy white pith of pomelo. A little bitter but refreshing without ever being cologne like.
I smell the herbal earthiness of rosemary and lavender, not too flowery. Cleansing. Calibrating.
Woods… light shavings. Grounded, dry, sweet. Softly fiery with spice. Delicate ambergris to add body, perhaps a little mortal connection.
Not angelic. No mass, no church, no religious institution required. When I wear this, no other beings exist except myself and God. Much praise for Sancti…
Sillage is quite discreet, but I am quite gratified in wearing this just for myself and anyone else I want to allow in my personal space.
It almost knocks Le Labo Vetiver off my favorites shelf for my spiritual comfort fragrance.
    Sonia Constant, you are supernatural.

Regardless fragrance itself – people who work in liquides imaginaires are rather ignorants and neverminded… Fragrance trio : melancolia, lacrima, phanthasma are in production but hardly achievable. I can’t find even samples. So I wrote directly to costumer services. The answer was : ” Because containers thous 3 fragrances are very fragile we don’t sell them by sending. If you want buy one you need to go directly to our scent bar in Paris. Thank you very mutch ( I got specially go from London to Paris to buy bottle of perfume or even smell it) I can afford it if I’m Rockefeller or Bill Gates only… I asked about sample info – No reply… Thous people p… ed me of so from now on I’m boykoting their fragrances….There is so many nice scents just skip liquides imaginaires onestly.

If you’ve experienced either Cardinal or Full Incense, Sancti will seem a little redundant to you. Not that I mind personally. As a frankincense addict, I say the more the merrier.
Overall it has a more airy feel than either Cardinal, Full Incense or Avignon due to the citrus and florals. Between those three it most closely resembles Cardinal overall.
In terms of mass appeal it’s the most wearable of the four. The incense takes a little more of a back seat than in the other three where for obvious reasons the incense is up front and center. Here it’s an equal player.
It’s blended to the extent that most people will not have an immediate association to a Catholic mass.
The incense is bright, enjoyable and lasts as a skin scent for a long time.
The other three seem more appropriate for cooler temperatures, but Sancti could be worn easily in warmer temps. A pleasurable spring/summertime take on incense.

A beautiful, light citrusy incense opening. Sunlight filtering into a temple on a cool early spring morning. Despite the slight smokiness a clear and transparent fragarance – fairly low projection. After the uplifting citrus top dissipates you get a lovely incense with a bit of wood in the background (I’m guessing the cedar but it smells sandalwood-y to me). There’s still a bit of something lemony in there at this point. As it develops further it slowly morphs into more of a fougere but it never loses it’s clean wood and incense character. Quiet, elegant, and restrained.

Sancti is part of the trilogy that put the brand in the perfume scene and caused a wave of appreciation on specialized blogs. For a perfume of a brand that explores intense antagonistic concepts such as good and evil, potion or antidote, wisdom and intoxication Sancti is absent in a polarizing aroma. Perhaps for someone who does not know incense perfumes and is not used to its sacred and pleasant aroma Sancti looks interesting. For me, however, it is a collage of references from other similar themed perfumes, without adding anything new to the idea,
If Sancti was a song it certainly would be built entirely on samples of other known songs. At times there is something of cedar smell a terpenic touch wich reminds me of Armani Bois d’Encens. In others, you get the impression of feeling the most spicy, minty and fresh incense creations like Comme des Garcons Artek Standard or Heeley Cardinal. Also see a incense air in a more liturgical and smoky shade that emulates another Comme des Garcons, Avignon. Finally, the base evolves into a mixture of musk, wood and touch of oud that much refer to the Amouage Jubilation XXV base.
For fans of all perfumes mentioned above, Sancti is a full plate, almost like a collection of best incense successes. For me, it has the same problem of collection, I already know and appreciate the references separately and see no grace or need at the junction. I follow expecting a creation of this house that still make me revise my broken expectations so far.

Strong enough at the beginning .. in the heart notes is almost ‘Angelic’ and heavenly … has something “divine” .. gives a strong sense of peace and clean. Although at first it may seem strong, after a while it becomes lighter and woody. A perfume definitely impact, sophisticated and definitely unique! Very complex .. I do not know if will become part of my collection, but I’ll keep it in mind, just because I think it is “complex and sophisticated”. Anyway it smells good! quality.
    Sillage: 7.5/10
    Longevity: 7.5/10
    Scent: 8.5/10
    Overall: 7.5/10

Sancti is a bit of a Sahara Noir wannabe with fizzy aldehydes over a questionable base. It opens with an appealing blast of sandy resins and lemony frankincense, but there’s an unavoidable whiff of superficiality about the whole thing. One point of note about this line (generally speaking) is that the packaging, the aesthetic, and the gimmick are all impeccable, but the perfumes themselves are fairly substandard — and that’s the case with Sancti for me. This seems to be a trend as of late, and high end department stores are picking up some of the most insipid perfumes on the basis of packaging design and rhetorical appeal. This line does the industrial sanctament-goth thing fairly well (cue the chanting monks over a techno beat), but it’s all quite transparent and doesn’t take much critical thought to see what they’re up to. But I digress . . .
Needless to say, this isn’t a bad incense perfume, but there’s much better out there. It’s quite literally Sahara Noir with fizz at first, and soon after, it kicks up on the soapier resin effect (chamomile / elemi, I assume?) that Jovoy’s La Liturgie and Heeley’s Cardinal deploy. (I’ve no idea how soapy notes ever made their way into liturgical incense conversation — spiritual cleanliness?) Anyhow, Sancti is on par with the Heeley and the Jovoy in my mind — both of which are sort of blah incense fragrances in light of others. This one offers nothing new, but it’s a functional enough scent that if you love the bottle design, it might be worth your while. The line clearly knows its audience, and at this point, I’m starting to think that it was conjured up for people who aren’t that up to speed on modern perfumery (hence the surprising amount of knock-offs in the collection). Sancti is all edgy goth-facade but without the substance to support it. Not awful, not great, but definitely not a standout.

all i get is frankincense. good, high-quality, non-nausea-inducing frankincense, and whilst that in and of itself is a plus, i get nothing else…try again?

it reminds me of a fresh Lennon, the Laine de Verre by Serge Lutens. fresh and clean cooling essence. also reminds me of Iperborea By Lorenzo Villoresi.
Edit )17th July 2017) It is olibanum, myrrh, and doses of citrus, some cedar, pink pepper and bid doses of Aldehyde, cardamom, coriander, and nutmeg.

Imagine a classic old style bathtub foam smell. That’s the one.
Nothing special about this perfume. It is not unpleasant, but it is not great either. Soft for the base notes it has.
Whoever wants my sample, you are welcome.

This is so sad. I couldn’t wait to get this. Its such a beautiful citrus opening with a dry down close to Black by Puredistance and then….nothing. it went away so fast.
This is definitely not a blind buy. I’m sorry I bought it (but the bottle and packaging are nice).

An aldehydic opening that rather quickly (about 2 hours) dies down to practically nothing but a very soft incense. Ho Hum.

This stuff has completely won me over. One of the most sophisticated, transparent and *clean* takes on incense. The composition is actually pretty simple but is so smartly conceived to result refreshing and novel while sticking to a somewhat classic liturgical-incense structure. It opens with a plethora of unsweetened and fizzy citruses (mandarine, pamplemousse and bergamot) paired to a super soft cardamom note and maybe some aldehydes. The citruses smell extremely natural and realistic as opposed to the *undefined* lemony notes we experience too often in modern perfumery. In this phase Sancti feels extremely sparkling and fresh, almost freezing and wintery as in a early morning breeze.
The evolution starts right away and the citrusy opening perfectly links to the lemony aspect of frankincense. This is basically the middle phase where the fragrance smells of clean church floors, wax and sunlight entering from the mullioned windows. Think about Comme Des Garcons 2 Man with an extra dose of citruses and the vetiver toned down. There’s also the *clean* accord of Cardinal as well as the white linen vibe already found in some of the Maria Candida Gentile’s works.
A white smoky base starts emerging from the back while the incense gets drier and drier to give birth to a simple yet incredibly satisfying drydown. There’s something so purifying about this fragrance, something that smells salubrious. Smells white, pure, clean…almost virginal. If you’re looking for something bombastic and tenacious, you’ll probably be disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, the fragrance is anything but weak bit its weightless character gives it an ethereal vibe throughout that makes of this composition a perfect fit for almost every occasion and every season. Fantastic if worn both on skin and fabric where the incense drydown lingers forever.
    Mucho Love.
