Awful fragance, I don’t know what they were thinking when they did this mess. Smell like ship soap and is definitely a headache maker. Even for 5 dollars DO NOT BUY THIS THING. Everybody dislike it.

I spoke too soon, I did not really like it, since barely reached to it and I don’t remember how it smells at all, totally forgettable, sorry but is gone in a yard sale.

As a teenager word started going around about a good fragrance called Rocawear 9Ix. I went on the hunt for it but could only find Rocawear X. I bought it.sillage was decent but longevity was not good. I did receive a couple compliments off of it. It was dark and creamy and pretty synthetic. Typical highschool cheapie. I think it gained popularity in my school because of who it was by and not so much the scent itself. If youre in highschool check it out it will make a couple girls smile, just remember to reapply at lunch lol.

I absolutely love this Cologne. I always get complimeted when I wear it. Its warm and rich and distinctive.

Definitely superior to 9IX, Rocawear X is a more deliberately sweet/woody blend that I liken to cream soda, in a sense. Light enough in terms of the scent itself (as well as the projection and longevity, which are both limited as expected), it walks the line between a summer and a winter scent, but surely is not formal enough as a go-to for evening activities.
Still inferior to Evolution in terms of the entire fragrance (though in fairness, Evolution is a deliberately darker concoction), X is a playful daytime option that cannot be beat for the price (30ml for $8 at Ross). I wouldn’t recommend that this be tried but it’s a viable cheapie option for many purposes.

There is something about this scent that I just love. It’s such a great, unique surprise and easily my favorite from the Rocawear house. The first time I sprayed this scent, I got this sweet peppermint like smell…even though there is no peppermint in the notes.(must be the tea note mixing with something else…the eucalyptus perhaps?) And instantly knew I had to get it.
A little sweet, a little spicy, a little creamy, a little green, a little citrus, a little musky….a scent that keeps me guessing and coming back for another sniff time and time again! Terrific longevity and good projection as well. A definite departure from the usual boring juice that gets churned out from a lot of designers. Big thumbs up from me on this one!!!

To me this reminds me of a mix between Edition Blanche and L’homme only a lot more synthetic and more musk and tea added ! It smells like sweet tea etches with lemon with coffee creamer added.lol. Sounds weird but its actually quite pleasant. I liked this alright at first but the more I wear it the more I love it so its an aquired taste for sure
Side note: this is strong at first and a tad off putting but give this 5 minutes and it becomes a lot more pleasant. After it settles it’s really smooth and creamy with a little zing from the lemon making it smell clean and slightly soapy as well. This is 1 of the few my girlfriend likes and has gotten me a lot more compliments that I’ve expected. When I wear this out I always wait at least 15 mins because the opening is a little harsh.
The dry down to this though is actually really good though and lasts a good while. Only downside is when it reaches the dry down projection is really close to the skin
    Id rate this a 7 out of 10 !
The longevity is good as this hangs on the skin for about 6-10 hours but with only average projection.
Decent scent for a good price, its pretty unique and its a good scent for all seasons as its light enough for the summer but it also has a warming quality thats good for Winter

A pleasant sweet/woody blend. As mentioned it’s a safe blind buy that I can’t see getting negative comments. Is it synthetic, yes. Does it get compliment, yes. Very cheap but the bottle design is horrible. The citrus opening quickly dries down to an amber/woody drydown. You can actually smell the gaiac and cedar notes which is a major plus. I have a couple bottles in the basement at my disposal.

I only got this one time (probably a 1 ounce ish bottle) and it smells perfectly fine. Nothing to write home about, but a good scent for those who are trying to get their feet wet in the fragrance world. 🙂
Due to its poor longevity, I suggest wearing it as a night scent when you go out. You’ll maybe get 2-3 hours out of it (with 3-4 sprays) if you have good skin. Otherwise, remember to moisturize! 🙂
Due to the safeness in the scent, you can certainly wear it year around. At the price, it is a very safe buy.

kinf of in between millionaire and armani code, good for clubbing scene or to wear to college or high school or w.e only 10$ at most places.

I find it laughable to diss this and plug Code in. Clearly Code is better, but this is a nice affordable cologne, great for a night out on the town. You can find it sometimes at TJ Maxx for around $14-20. Can’t get Code for that price.

I meant to by the original Rocawear for my uncle 2day, but I ended up grabbing this! I totally forgot there was more than one fragrance from Rocawear! It was the only one I found and it was for a great price so I hope he likes it just the same. If not, I’ll keep it, hoping that I like it, or just gift it to someone else! Ha! : )

I haven’t tried this but it sounds similar to Samba Heat for Men, which sells for very little, for those who have an opportunity to sample that one.

Strong smell at first 30 min to an hour or 2 it then settles to a really sexy smell.
    3 spray MAX
I rather the 9IX which is also by Rocawear (i have both) but still great.
-1 for too strong smell at first
-1 for when it gets to the good smell the scent is really low.
-0.5 for smelling like an old book kept in the attic for a long time
BUT REALLY it settles to a good scent after
    Rating – 7.5/10

Rocawear X is an immensely sweet scent. I might even call it somewhat unique. It’s linear all the way from the opening to the base but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I get a very nice peppermint blended with a creamy tea note. Just imagine the creamy lemon in Chanel Edition Blanche. That’s the creaminess in this fragrance but instead of lemon it’s tea, and the peppermint is just a supporting character that creates an aura around the tea note. Sillage and longevity is great as well! Normally, I’m lucky to get any form of longevity or projection from anything but just a couple sprays with this one and I’m set for the next 8+ hours and my scent cloud seems to have an everlasting power! Finally, if you enjoy very sweet scents, give this a try, otherwise, I suggest turning the cheek on this one because you will despise its diabetic inducing abilities! If you enjoy Chanel Edition Blanche and/or Chic for Men by Carolina Herrera, you might enjoy this. Decent celebrity scent for the price but not one I would ever purchase again.

Smells to me just like Davidoff Adventure, so I like it.
I find it hard to pick Tea notes in it, namely besause I just think it’s adventure when I sniff my hand

i love rocawear X may be because i love tea note 🙂 , and like others said, it has other ingredients that i find them play well with tea note to make it a pleasant smell….

apparently the notes are- cedar, lime, lapsang souchong, pomelo, black amber, eucalyptus, guaiac, musk, goji berries

According to the PR on this scent’s release it contains Lapsang Suchong tea, lime, goji berries, pomelo, eucalyptus, black amber, guaiac wood, cedar and musk…
I put off buying this because I already have many “tea scents” but when I saw a small bottle in a discount store for 28.00 USD I could not resist…
The lime and pomelo are quite fresh and not too zesty, the goji berries add a fruity note less sweet than lychee and not as bitter as cranberries or currants. The eucalyptus adds a touch of warm green to the mix. The tea is detectable throughout its development. On the drydown: the woods, dark amber and musk are blended so smoothly they become almost one sweet strong accord that brighten rather than weigh this scent down. I enjoyed the 9IX (my friens call it “99”) but I enjoy this one more! Fresh, clear but slightly woody and down to earth, bright and slightly exotic this one is a winner…
    Sillage: close
    Longevity: quite decent
    Overall: 4/5
Where the original was darker and mysteriously sexy, this one is bright and clean with alot of fresh and natural notes. The whole scent is quite good and would be a really nice summer scent if you wanted something a little different…Keep up the good work Jay-Z!

I like this but it smells the same all the way through as said before.
seems to be no top notes or basenotes, just.. the same. kinda boring if you ask me. but, it is what it is.

    Sweet, sweet… drydown? no,
I waited and nothing, just the same smell all the way though.
