Unfortunately this comes across air freshener-y for me, and not rosey enough, it’s certainly a mixed scent rather than a predominantly rose scent, as others have noted.
I bought Al Rehab Taif Rose at the same time, which is much more what I was looking for. It’s not yet listed on this site – it’s not the fancy bottle called simply Taif, it’s one of the bargain roll-ons, with a baby pink label, and I got it on ebay in the UK. I recommend that over this- bright and rosey, like true rose oil.

Reminds me of the deodorant my mom used to wear in the ’90s. Very powdery. I honestly don’t smell much rose or even any flower in this, only in the dry down do I get any floral and it’s not rose specifically. If you’re looking for a rose scent, go elsewhere. But it is pleasant and soft. It’s nice when you get out of the shower.

this is my favorite rose perfume,
also the most innocent perfume I have smelled
I can see myself getting married wearing this
for me personally, it also brings back memories from visiting the beautiful holy shrine of Imam Reza…when you get inside, this is exactly how the place smells like..you can almost feel the angels there…very serene

I got this no-frill little bottle in a box full of other attars but didn’t even pay much attention to it, because the other ones were more exotic. Tried it out properly for the first time last week and-gasp-I already want to order a box of backups. Its top is similar to cold cream, in that comforting enveloping way. Then follows that *beautiful* powderiness that lasts and lasts, turning a touch sweeter and creamier as time goes by. This is easily one of my most recommendable Al-rehab/Crown Perfume scents, even before White Full/Full. It’s seemingly more geared towards the western market and I can understand why. This would work beautifully during colder months, but I cannot wait that long to wear it. I’ve been basically dabbing this non-stop since I rediscovered it.
I also whipped this up with shea butter and cocoa butter to make a scented balm for drier areas of my skin and it melts wonderfully while leaving a creamy soapy trace on my skin and clothes.

Having several others from this house, I blind bought Red Rose and agree with reviewers regarding the strong powdery vibe. I happen to thoroughly enjoy powdery scents, however, and, though she’s not what I was anticipating (hopefully a deep rose soliflore), she is a lovely slightly-rosy powder scent, so 7/10 for me. Perhaps she will open up more over time as I’ve only applied a few sprays just half an hour ago or less at the time of this initial-impression review.
    Sillage is soft, perhaps moderate.
Hubby likes, so that’s a bonus.
So far, a good, solid “like”. Could she turn into a “love”?
Red Rose IS good for layering! The version of Robert Piguet BANDIT that I received isn’t the one I sampled, it’s much more bitter and dry, but I layered THIS Red Rose over it and the effect was softer, creamier, calmer. Very nice! It added a little balance with the sweetness and powdery-ness of Red Rose. HIGHLY recommended for layering!!!

It’s a solid like from me! It’s strong and smells good, but I’m not in love with this fragrance right now even though I love rose and I love vanilla. I’m definitely keeping this in my collection to see how it develops.

This is for the spray bottle:
I could not detect any rose. This is straight up Johnson & Johnson powder scent.
Im not sure with this fragrance. Maybe as toilet water but nothing WOW for me.

For the 6 ml roll-on oil.
First try: Couldn’t wait, took a first sniff from the roller-ball: freshly ground rosépepper with a nip of white pepper and cloves, along with carnation, violets and quite powerful powdery notes.
On my skin initially: spicy Rosépepper again, along with carnation and violets, and powdery notes.
After about 30 mins. Lovely creamy amber, powdery notes, violets and a whisk of white musk. In the background, almost hovering a few feet from my arm, a faint rose note. Stays like this for a few hours. Up until 8-9 hrs longevity, sillage moderate and at the end with very pleasant skin scent of white musk, faint rose and vanilla. A very pleasant experience throughout.
Second and third try: OMG! I am totally in love with this, especially the rose hovering over my arm. Love it! First Al-Rehab try, but definitely not my last.

This is almost pure violet. I’m not getting any rose at all. At first its not very good, like a cheap Devon Violet,. but as time goes on it mellows into a soft, creamy, powdery violet.

My oil roll-on arrived this morning. I already own many Al Rehab’s, but this one escaped me before – don’t know how!
As I already had my chosen perfume applied before this arrived, I gave the back of my hand a couple of swipes with this and rubbed it in.
For a start, it was a little metallic, but within 10 minutes, that wore off, and a soft, sweet violet started to creep through. I have to say, I was surprised as I expected rose.
I went out shopping in a very brisk, cold wind and all I could smell was sweet violets wafting around me; it was lovely. By the time I returned home, the perfume had amped up and I couldn’t smell my original perfume at all. The violet had gone creamy and powdery and some white flowers had joined in. Still no rose.
I don’t know what Kenzo Flower smells like, and I don’t care. This is delightful and my new favourite Al Rehab.
Update: I found the rose, hiding around 10 hours in, very soft and gentle, like a will o’the wisp of roses.
February 9th: Have ordered 2 more roll-on oils of this – I’ve nearly used all my first one ad I really can’t be without this one. I think this was made just for me.

This is not a jammy rose. It’s a powdery rose. Rose and vanilla. Simple, elegant, and an absolute steal price-wise. If you like rose, give it a try.

It smells like Kenzo Flower but with much better longevity. Very powdery and good quality, I would say it is a good purchase.

    Just a little note here:
It’s not supposed to smell like roses. It’s called Red Rose because it’s a reference to the graphics on the Kenzo Flower bottle. It’s one of the Al Rehab dupes and when I compare it Kenzo, I actually prefer Red Rose more. It’s deeper with a nice resin/powder note. It also lasts longer.
The notes for this perfume like many of the attars and oils from the middle east sold or reviewed in western markets is wrong.
I just had to mention this because I buy a lot of perfumes blind with nothing but Fragrantica leading the way. I wouldn’t want others to purchase this blind thinking that they will be getting a rose fragrance. There’s rose in it, like most arabian oils, but it’s not the main focus. In fact, if I were to place a flower first and foremost in this frag, I would say parma violets more than rose.
Loads of parma violets over a base of heliotrope rounded out with a touch of vanilla.
I can hear those who’ve tried it and been a bit confused about the idea of “rose” in this one saying, “Ohhhhh!”
    Yeah.
    Parma violets.
In fact, think of the UK candy, “Parma Violets”, and put it in a perfume oil. Add a bit of spice and vanilla. There you have Al Rehab Red Rose. It’s nice if you like that kind of thing but if you’re looking for pure rose? You can end up disappointed.

This is so lovely! Very sweet, rosy, powdery and yes as the notes suggest, vanilla. It layers very well with Lamya by Nabeel (just as a by the way) – which also has rose notes. It probably would layer well with Wisal (sorry, can’t remember who makes this one).
Very nice, actually as an Aussie, it reminds me very much of red cordial or raspberry cordial – which I loved as a kid – I still love the smell; Cottees brand 🙂
No I have it! The scent is sweet Turkish delight rose water. That is the scent 🙂

  18. :

Al-Rehab Red Rose starts out with bright, clean powdery rose scent. I imagine white roses based on looks alone. As it heats up on the skin, a warmer musk aroma emerges with vanilla, but the roses stay evident.
The silage is very close to the skin with little projection. A person sitting next to you might feel it. The lasting power is similar to other Al Rehab products, with a moderate longevity.
Red Rose is a pretty perfume that would be nice for daily wear. It’s also light enough that it could be used over multiple seasons. It’s never going to be the one that you reach for first, but it might be the one you pick on those days that you don’t know what to wear.
    Like it.

This is for the oil version.
I had to come back for this as it seems to be more complicated than a simple rose/vanilla combo. First I must say that it smells way more expensive and sophisticated than its very modest price. Once applied it releases a gorgeous moderately sweet rose, happy and in full bloom but not fresh or dusty either. As time progresses another quality comes to surface, the gentle sweetness is there but enhanced by a spicy note, smooth, rounded and very persistent. Vanilla here is not the foody kind, it resembles more Amber with an added spice very akin to cinnamon. I can tell you it is totally mesmerizing and few people outside Fragrantica would have thought that I got an entire box of this for less than a £10. This phase lasts very long and it is delicious! I believe it can appeal to both gourmand and oriental scents lovers. It brings to mind my grandmothers anatolian recipe of rice pudding made with rose water, a dash of vanilla with a very generous sprinkle of cinnamon, ready for her favourite little granddaughter to appreciate. This is a must for any Rose lovers collection, sultry, wearable and timeless. Well done Al Rehab!

This smells like a carnation bomb right off the bat but as mentioned after a bit calms down to a floral powder scent. It’s not rosey. It’s a soft skin scent and would be absolutely non offending to ANYONE I am sure. If you REALLY want a nice rose from Al-rehab try Roses.

    that’s sweetly sprung in June
Oh my luve’s like the melodie

This is another wonderful, excellent perfume from the fantastically cheap Al-Rehab House. I adore them. Everything of theirs I have tried is exceptionally fine, and always lovely and strong and long-lasting.
Red Rose is a lovely powdery rose, with soft and gentle subtle vanilla, which makes it a sweet rose cream powder. It’s heavenly.

  25. :

    5 out of 5

Red Roses is a calming, plushy floral with powder and vanilla. I’d say 70% vanilla powder, 30% soft rose/violet/carnation combo. Sometimes after it’s been on a few hours I think I can smell a spicy carnation under all that. It stumped me as I sat with it on, searching the olfactory files for the connection. Maybe like a face cream or cosmetic scent I know from the past? A little like a discontinued Lush perfume: Potion.
Red Roses is like soft and sweet cushiony violet/rose if that makes sense. Very approachable and subtly spiced floral yet powdered scent. I like it very much; I especially like to wear it to bed.
Now I suppose I should go smell Kenzo Flower to see what everyone is talking about.
Update: I love this more the more I wear it.

I absolutely love Red rose and have searched all around for a bottle in Ohio when I ran out, I don’t go for names or price if it works it works…That being said this works for me and not because of the price. This scent is feminine and has a slight sweet but powdery note which I adore! The main thing that drew me to this fragrance was yhat is was lite and non offensive and could be worn as an everyday scent, My body chemistry loves this fragrance and so does my nose, I don’t smell much vanilla but I do get whiffs here and there combined with a light powdery note which keeps this scent going strong all day without having to spray more, The sillage on me is good Incan smell it in my clothes and on my skin the next day. Ths perfume can be worn all year around, it has a nice fresh pleasant smell but not soapy or laundry. I absolutely adore it♡

This review is for the 6ml rollon oil.
I purchased this at my local Arabian perfume store, gave it away, then purchased it again. It’s so not me, and yet I’m compelled to own it and wear it (which I’m doing again today).
Primarily, this is a great fragrance for layering . . . at least for me. I love to layer these oils, and this is a definite “Western” scent from this fantastic maker of budget oils. As with all of the Al-Rehab oils I’ve ever used, these bloom better in a bit of heat (rather in the winter or the AC). In the AC, it leans a bit medicinal and steryl.
But this is exactly what I think of when I think of a makeup scent. It’s probably the only makeup scent I’ve ever really enjoyed. I’m talking a straight powdery, slightly scented, non-sweet compact that broke open inside my handbag and makes the whole thing and everything inside smell like this.
I get the rose, and I even get the illusion of vanilla, but I get those secondarily. The most notable part of this scent is the powder.
Thinking it was going to behave and be fairly light, I put a generous double layer of oil on, rubbing it in after each application. In hindsight, I could probably have used one application (on my chest and neck) and it would have been plenty. But I don’t feel that it was overwhelming. I chose this perfume because I was going to be teaching in a fairly small room, one-on-one music lessons. I briefly wondered if it would bother my student, but she seemed fine with it (and this is a student I’ve spoken to about perfume before, so she would probably have mentioned if it bothered her or if she really noticed it). I assume it smelled stronger to me because it is so close to my nose.
This is a clean and crisp scent, but also has warmth to it. I think it would layer well with Dalal or Soft or other sweet-leaning scents. It would probably also be quite nice with a leathery or vintage floral scent. But on its own, it’s quite effective as well.
I’m very happy that I own this.

  28. :

    5 out of 5

This is the first time I’ve worn this on its own, I usually wear it over ‘Al Haraim Oudi’ to soften it slightly and take of it’s medicinal edge. It works a treat 🙂
I’ve given this what I call the ‘bed test’ which is something I do with all my florals when I get them. Scent very rarely lingers on me overnight and if it does,I usually find its general longevity will be good for anytime. I feel this may well pass the test.
It’s strong yet warm and comforting, almost like I’m gently embraced in a cloud of musky rose, tickling at my skin by one of those dusting powder puffs of glamorous days gone by.
I get a hint of very subtle vanilla and I think if this perfume does remain all night,my body heat will draw it out somewhat.
I bought ‘Red Rose’ purely to layer with other scents but I can honestly say I’m seduced by this little beauty that alone dances to it’s own delicious melody.
Now I shall fall asleep feeling comfortable and cosy as this smell carries me into dreamland,in much the same way my parents used to by reading me my favourite bedtime stories.

got he roll on and it just smells beautiful! perfect combination of rose and vanilla!

  30. :

    4 out of 5

Oh, this is lovely! It’s a sudsy sweet rose, like a bar of pink bath soap. It’s creamy, thanks to the drop of vanilla and its subtle muskiness. It’s not as strong as other Al-rehabs, but it’s not exactly meek, either (I’m catching beautiful wafts as I type this). This is like a mild body lotion; very feminine and warm.

  31. :

I tried this out of pure curiosity because it is so super cheap, and I had secretly hoped to love it, or at least like it. Yes it does have a very similar vibe/smell to Kenzo Flower (one of my top favourites), now I am not saying this out of snobbery (more than happy to purchase own brand/value range products etc in my daily life) but I really quite dislike this. It somehow manages to smell the same as Flower but is all wrong and plasticky at the same time. I guess it feels like comparing a fresh sweet juicy strawberry with a strawberry flavoured bubble gum. I put a bit on, it is quite strong and now I just want to shower it all off. I feel like a plasticky Barbie doll. Or a scented felt tip. Even my 6 year old (who also loves the smell of Flower) didn’t like this when doing a blind test. I don’t think I will keep it.

Another review in my continuing reviews of rose fragances for Fragrantica in time for Valentines Day. Al Rehab Red Rose is a Betty Boop rose. Betty Boop is a floribunda and floribundas are roses best appreciated in the garden rather than to be cut and presented indoors.
Betty Boop is a red rose but has a lot of yellow in the interior of the bloom with patches of white. And with this fragrance, the rose is covered up with some vanilla and white musk hiding in the background with just a hint of spice. It starts out with a strong cheap alcohol smell but it burns off to its standard top rather quickly.
I expect drugstore quality scents to last, project, and perform for 4 hours and this one gives you 3-5. Sillage is low to moderate with the rose hiding behind the noticeable musk.
As for personal use, I bought a bottle. I wear it on occasion, usually while at home, when I feel like adding some low cost rose to my life. Its basically a happy little TV scent. It was a smallish one ounce bottle and I will not be repurchasing another.
Value wise, this one cost around $10 for a one ounce bottle. It is a drugstore type value scent and I consider $10 an ounce to be a standard price for drugstore scents and this one did not exceed value for the money.
Overall, I am going to grade this one out at 64 and it lives somewhere between a passing grade and just above the disappointing D- level.
Floribundas are fun. And pretty soon every gardner wants to grow one. They outbloom other roses and the blooms stay beautiful on the stem longer and do not need to be frequently pruned or cut. Still, poor little Betty Boop is not a take home and meet your Mom kind of woman and at the end of the day you are glad she went home for the night. A bit of Kane like jazz is good for the sense of life but as you get older its ok to appreciate stalks of beauty. You cannot discuss this scent without taking a moment to appreciate Al-Rehab. This house is just a wealth of exploration. Sure there are people that will hype up Portrait of a Lady but you could buy 37 bottles of Al-Rehab fragrances for the price of one 100 ml bottle of the Malle.
Al Rehab Red Rose like all Al-Rehab fragrances is a charleston dance in a world of cha-cha. Not all fragrances and rose fragrances need to be epic. Once you get past the cheap opening this one is actually convivial for a rose scent. Sometimes you can enjoy wearing and watching a cartoon with a merry little rose that lives in a garden grown rather than death in a sterile vase.
    Boop Boop de Doop.

i have a weak spot for roses perfumes, needless to say this is a blind buy for me, sadly it smells very artificial to me 🙁 not recommended at all if you are seeking for a perfume that smells like genuine roses. but if you are looking for something soft, powdery, girly and floral, you may like it

  34. :

    4 out of 5

I’ve tried several Al-Rehabs and strongly disliked them all, aside from this one, which I only moderately dislike. 🙁
To me it smells cheap – like an old fashioned air freshener. I’m getting artificial rose and violet and sugary vanilla.
It does indeed smell a lot like Kenzo Flower – the packaging suggests it’s intended to be a dupe.
I actually like the smell of roses, but this ain’t it.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

I ordered Red Rose expecting a sweet vanilla rose but instead it smells terrible on my skin. Much akin to my mom’s favorite Kenzo Flower which I despise. Oddly, in addition to the powdery baby diaper smell there is a chemical undercurrent that reminds me of fertilizer. Gross. I am hesitant to try other Al-Rehab fragrances.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

Very similar to Flower by Kenzo, but stronger and more long lasting and perhaps a little bit less powdery. The rose here is very natural, unlike in most of those cheap fragances wich usually turn to an air refreshener artificial rose. The violet is not overly sweet nor cloying. The vanilla is very honeyed but not excesive or infantile. There´s a white musk undertone, very clean that ties everything together. There´s also a hint of something green I can´t identify. Even when this juice has a very good sillage, it´s not cloying or offensive, wich makes it a very tolerable scent for hot weather. It´s a lovely fragance for everyday use, cozy and lovely, wearable at the office and even at the gym and in crowded places if applied with a very light hand. Smells much more expensive than it is. Makes a beautiful hair perfume with a vintage feeling. A good budget alternative for Flower by Kenzo. I bought a refill of the original Flower by Kenzo for 15€ (much cheaper than the juice in its bottle) and comparing the two side by side I can tell the two are very similar, but Al Rehab Red Rose is the stronger of the two. Definitively not unisex, very feminine like the original Flower by Kenzo, so only adventurous men may dare to wear this. It puzzles me the gender assignation of Arab fragances, I find it a bit different than the Western standards. I wish some Arab user here would explain it with some detail.

    totally kenzo Flower.
I have kenzo Flower when i first receive this(Oil version) and Yes, they are similar. But Red Rose more heavy and strong. But still, similar.
The best thing about this is, there were never too much. No matter how strong, it doesnt get me that headache.
I’ll try their 35ml bottle and see how good it is.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

Yes, oh yes it does smell like Kenzo Flower, and seems impossible but it lasts even longer on the skin than Kenzo Flower. I do not like gourmands or heavy sweet perfumes but something about this one gets me. It is very warm and cozy on a cold midwinter day. The vanilla blends beautifully with some sort of yellow flower scent, perhaps mimosa even though it is not listed as a note. I can also smell something of cherry blossom.
All of the Al-Rehab scents that I have tried and liked layer very well with other perfumes and it is fun experimenting. I find that this one complements Lancome Poeme quite nicely even though I love each on its own as well.
It does smell sharp and screechy when first uncapped which may be disconcerting (it was to me) but stay with it and it becomes much softer. This seems to be characteristic of all Al-Rehab oils. It actually smells expensive, unlike most perfume oils I’ve tried from other houses.
Highly recommended for scent and longevity.

Ack. Mine smelled nothing like roses or vanilla – more like the inside of an old children’s chemistry set. Disappointing.

Roll on: Smells nothing like a red rose but more like sweet violets, beautifully sweet with the vanilla underneath but not too sweet. This smells like Kenzo flower except stronger but in a nice way. I have always wished Kenzo flower would be stronger.

This perfume made my nose scream, “Kenzo Flower!” when I first sniffed it. The scent is nicely crafted and does not smell like a cheap dupe. Clearly not something I would have guessed as a person who barely knows about Al-Rehab.
I bought this perfume during my stay in Medina for almost nothing. Like SAR 15 or so and it lasts forever (literally forever as I could still smell it on my scarf, even a week later), even under Saudi Arabian summer heat.
One regret is that I did not buy more :-/
Will definitely grab a box when I return 🙂

This smells exactly like Kenzo Flower, which I love. Definite score and must have for Flower lovers. As Kenzo Flower this lasts forever too, and you don’t need much of the oil, so would go a long way. As I said – this is a score !

I have the roll-on oil version. This a beautiful and sweet rose scent. The vanilla definitely comes through. The oil is very concentrated so a little goes a long way. I think I paid $5 for this and it smells like it should cost much more.
I also paired this with the brand’s Choco Musk scent and the combination was amazing! Got several compliments.

If you like powdery perfumes then you will love this one. It’s a very feminine scent, delicate and lovely. I can definitely feel the vanilla in this one, the rose is soft, quiet and pretty. I have the spray and it has decent staying power and sillage.

  48. :

    A poor mans Kenzo Flower!
The spray is my preferred version as it is airier and lighter in vanilla.
The roll on oil has amazing longevity (on my skin) but i had to give it away as it was too plasticky and headache inducing.
In fact i have the same issue with the real deal!

  49. :

    Lovely.
A bubblegum note in Red Rose (could be violet?) will delight some people and mystify others. I am among the mystified…. Aside from that, this appears to be a less powdery version of Kenzo Flower all the way. I prefer more powdery goodness, but crave the longevity oils offer. Not complaining a bit at this price!
Note – Layers extraordinarily well with the spicy incense fragrance from Al Rehab, Cobra. Also layers excellently with my beloved Rose Noire. I’m going to get my money’s worth and then some from Red Rose!
Happy Customer – Four Stars 🙂
Update – Reviewers are correct, Red Rose is more about Violet than the almost invisible rose. Misleading, but lovely fragrance. A ‘violet’ by any other name would still smell as sweet….

Extremely strong & long lasting!! It’s very calm & will envelop you slowly with a pleasant bearable smell that will stick to you for minutes if you talked to someone wearing it & left. Why bearable? Because unlike sprays that have been mixed with alcohol, perfume oils doesn’t have that unbearable opening blast. Red Rose smells like a very pleasant body lotion-type of smell with a very strong rose mixed with vanilla equally. The balance is beautiful and smells very mature, sophisticated & womanly, perfect for evening dates.
Projection: Fills a room during the first 4 to 5 hours. Then goes to an astounding arm’s length for the rest of it’s fragrance life.
Sillage: It’s so solid & thick that it just seems like it makes the air you breathe completely change into a more pleasant type of oxygen. Brush up on it slightly on yourself by passing by someone wearing it & you’ll carry the scent for over 10 seconds. Can’t notice a scent ‘cloud’ with it because it just seems to ‘blend’ with air and will slowly spread very far.
Longevity: Lasts until you take a shower, and afterwards you’ll still be able to pick up it’s scent if you bury your nose onto the spots where you applied it.
Versatility: 10 stars, seems to be suitable for any kind of occasion, like how you’ll seem alluring in evenings wearing a dress having a candle-lit dinner. And will plainly seem pleasant and friendly during the daytime at work or school.
Unisex but leaning WAY more towards females. Would probably suit men if they’re the type that nurtures their gardens or whatever makes it seem not unusual for men to smell like this. It’s mature, if you’re still somewhat childish you’ll only seem like you’re wearing something that just doesn’t fit your personality & that will put people off. Bought this in early 2014 🙂 It makes a lovely little souvenier or present for someone special.

Super powdery and sweet, just a little musky. The rose is very subtle and I can smell violets in here, in fact, I smell more violets than rose. I like it! :3

Another Al Rehab fragrance to add to my collection and this one opens sweetly with a powdery, slightly musky floral fragrance. I seriously don’t smell anything that resembles true rose, but I get a soft, girly, floral, powdery, vanilla aroma surrounding me.
Very pretty scent, long lasting on my skin, moderate silage, (I have the spray, I think the oil stays closer to the skin.)

Totally loving this… I should have said yes earlier when someone offered to swap this with me.. well I think they said it just smells of rose, and that kind of put me off. But now that I have tried this out, I can say that for my nose that isn’t exactly correct. It more smells of sweet rose powder which is a totally different thing. I am reminded of Ombre Rose a little, but I find Red Rose more vanilla ish and sweeter and less aldehydic (not sure if any Al Rehabs use aldehydes at all). Update: meanwhile I have also surrended to buying Kenzo Flower EDP and I must say that Al Rehab Red Rose is a pretty good approximation. Red Rose is less complex, it resembles the dry down phase of Flower in my opinion.

Beautiful fragrance, smells exactly like Kenzo Flower but obviously more convenient because of the price. Has a good longevity on my skin, and a soft sillage.Overall,I love it.

(Annoyingly, I can’t seem to add ‘Ombre Rose’ by Jean Charles Brosseau to the ‘perfumes this reminds me off’.
This is a smooth, soft and silky slightly sweetened rose. It has a slightly old fashioned powder-compact-like feel and is generally warm, reassuring and soft in feel, also a little old fashioned in a nice way.
In comparison to Ombre Rose it’s less complex but it’s, for me, more likable. Nice, good for the price, as the post below says, it’s ideal for day-time use, but it’s a bit too safe-feeling for me.

I have the roll-on oil version.
Al-Rehab Red Rose starts out as a bright, clean powdery rose scent. It’s what I imagine white roses would smell like based on looks alone. As it heats up on the skin, a warmer musk smell emerges with vanilla, but the roses stay evident. Red Rose has only a touch of sweetness and it remains very light.
The sillage is very close to the skin with little projection. A person sitting next to you might smell it. The lasting power is similar to other Al Rehab products, with a moderate longevity.
Red Rose is a pretty, non-offensive perfume that would be nice for daily wear. It’s also light enough that
