What a strange scent 😀
The spice level in “Pyrgos” is flaming red! It’s the type of fragrance you smell and taste simultaneously. Hot, sweet, peppery anise and cinnamon, with a camphorous, slightly medicinal edge – initially I thought it was eucalyptus leaf, but I see it is actually a heavy dose of oregano.
The main thing that springs to mind is, of course, ‘Big Red’ cinnamon chewing gum. Certainly once the lime dies off, that’s pretty much all you have. It’s very linear, but extremely potent and quite long lasting. I’m not sure I would call it a perfume, it has the same unrefined anethol-laden quality as cinnamon essential oil.
At best it’s a pure and refreshing smell, but you will feel like a barrel of aniseed balls wearing this, so not sure I’d recommend it.
