Definitely a blue scent.. Got this by mistake instead of “Mustang Mustang”
I don’t like it. Smells like kids cologne
messer101 – :
A fresh, synthetic, casual fragrance for kids to teenagers. Nothing spectacular, really affordable.

I tried this recently on my skin, for the first 10 something minutes my nose is hit with nothing but flowers. I don’t particularly like the flowery stuff but I endured to see if it would change. After about an hour of settling it become something…nostalgic. It was Drakkar Noir, a fragrance my father wore and still keeps in his bathroom cabinet to this day. Mustang Blue has the same lemon and bergamot, it’s basically Drakkar Noir with more flowers (at least on me). If Drakkar Noir is for cold days than Mustang Blue is the polar opposite for those warm days since they are similar but not the same. It’s not bad, just not my style of fragrance, I don’t know if women love flowery stuff on a guy or if some guys don’t mind it, but it hurts my nose to smell this longer than I have to. Reading what people said below, if this is what people like for the beach and/or what reminds them of country side then I’ll remain a ‘city slicker’ for the rest of my days.

I was going through my collection and found this oddity from 2008 tucked in the dark corner. The blue metal box with the trademark logo very familiar to any American had to be good right? This is the ultimate muscle car. It is made by Aramis in Greece. The plot thickens. I purchased this at WalMart for $5 on clearance. It must be horrible, right? Quite contrary.
This is Aramis! I opened it(its an aftershave splash), dabbed it on paper. It is too diaphanous. I tried some on my skin-much better! Its clean, fresh(lavender) and sporty. However, there is strong sense of tradition here. I remember spraying cologne all over my 1st car. This has that vibe and affordability. It seems more 1978 than 2008 with no aquatic notes or sugar!!! Take that, 1 Million!
Its an all man type of fougere with no pretenses! Spices mix with green notes and coumarin easily. Yes it last for hours becoming sexy as the hours pass. Lets do the time warp again! Its designer quality affordablity. Any young man’s lady can surprise him with this. Oddly, I would say the 16-30 year old crowd wears this the best.
So much for my preconceptions! This is proof that men dont like change, thankfully. No surprises, candy or motor oil! Can I wear it? I am too old. I shall return this to the dark cool confines of my stash for the future.

I got this for my 10yr old boy. He loves it. One squirt and I can smell it on him all day. Reminds me of something I used to wear in the 80’s. It’s a good cheap drugstore scent.

Imagine Irish spring soap and Cool Water combined. If you like fresh, you’ll like this. Nothing that’ll stand out, but great for wearing casually.

Great low priced option in the market, the original Mustang is also worth to try.
Great masculine scent.
KING47 – :
An impressive release from House Aramis, available at just about any drugstore or superstore, that smells anything but. When I saw this I expected some weak juice like the ones previously released by some high-end sportscar companies and found instead a very crisp aromatic manly scent…
A quite green citrusy opening surprised my nose and widened my eyes. The warmth in the spicy floral heart is tinged with the slight bitterness of artemisia yet overall is smooth and herbal. The drydown is a pleasant woody musk and throughout the whole I swear I can detect cypress though it is not listed among the notes. This is a very well blended scent consistent with the quality of an Aramis release though its ‘volume’ never reaches the level of say Havana or Tuscany. This is an excellent choice if you want to smell clean, manly and fresh but don’t want to pay an arm and a leg…
Sillage: good
Longevity: decent
Overall: 3.25/5
This is very good for an eau de cologne concentration and I have received a few compliments on this after I could no longer detect it. The tin this comes in I have found, is perfect for storing sample vials or small decants. I originally purchased ‘Mustang’ and passed on this because there was no tester out at that time after I tried the original, I bought this the next time I saw it and truly enjoy it…

wow! made by aramis finally this brand makes a good scent thats actually masculine without the leathery bitter 70s stuff
very rugged and well done fresh fougere! the scent is very complex and well blended and the entire blend really makes this scent stand out ESPECIALLY ON THE WALMART RACK

I’m not sure which Mustang I tested this afternoon but it is not at all what I expected. It’s still not great, but definitely a change from what I expected. It does mimic an outdoorsy scent but the floral scents are mute and the middle tones reflect the car culture they must have had in mind. Its weird to see I’d actually try but the intent of this scent seem to be met. It reminds me of a drive down a country road on a warm late summer day. At the very least its interesting and given that its a Lauder product and the samples are all over magazines its not hard to check it out. Not going to recommend it but not going to rail against it either.

I also got this as a gift from my gf. I prefer this one when we take daytime trips skiing or beach trips. It has the outdoor scent. She said there is hay in this one, I like Mustangs as cars but do not want to smell like a mustang. On this one you can’t notice the actual hay smell, it smells more grassy so it’s pretty good.
