A very pleasant rose oud, with a touch of light sweetness and musk. It is very potent and one spray evenly distubuted was all I needed. The taif rose is prominent along with an oud accord and a fairly clean musk. I received a compliment while wearing Mukhallat. It starts out fairly strong but settles down nicely within 20 minutes. I have smelled similar fragrances for 4 x the price so I consider this a great value. I like the fact that there are affordable alternatives to expensive niche fragrances because not everyone can afford those prices but everyone deserves to enjoy fragrance and smell good. DUA offers just that.

Dua Fragrances Mukhallat was described as a rose/oud combination when I first saw it featured on the Brooklyn Fragrance Lover YouTube channel, wherein it’s described as pleasant rose/oud combo, and I have to agree wholeheartedly. It’s very pleasant, mainly a mix of rose and oud as suggested but with a few other interesting elements.
The rose is dominant, and the rose is not a darker rose (i.e. black rose) but rather, a semi-fresh rose, mixed with some oud and then in the dry down, the amber becomes prominent.
Performance is decent–not among the strongest of a very strong-performing line but stronger than some of the lighter fragrances in the mix. A few sprays was more than sufficient.
Not the best rose/oud I’ve tried or owned but certain it’s worth having and is a nice component of the increasingly large Dua Fragrances collection. I look forward to trying Smoked Rosa Tabacum as well to gauge that take on rose in the house as well.
