Description

New love melody arrives from the house of Coach as celebration of the first signs of love, blush cheeks, gentle touch and hidden smiles and glances. Fresh floral notes of the composition evoke shyness and gentles and woody-musk finish describes warmth and beauty of the feeling that pervades the soul. Coach Love Eau Blush is launched on February 1st 2014 and is dedicated to the gentle woman who cherishes romantic feelings. The fragrance is announced as modern, elegant and extremely feminine.

Composition of the new fragrance Coach Love Eau Blush starts with a fruity union of black currant and bergamot, succeeded by a romantic bouquet of freesia, magnolia, jasmine, gardenia and lily of the valley. Excitement is toned down by accords of amber, musk, sandalwood and cedar finishing the composition.

Coach Love Eau Blush has the same style of flacon and outer carton as the first edition LOVE from 2012 providing a gentle cream-beige color combination. On the metal stopper in pink gold color one can find a satin ribbon, highlighting femininity of colors and gentle emotions. The fragrance is available as 50ml Eau de Parfum and 100ml Eau de Parfum.

Coach perfumes are hit and miss for me…I have and love Rose d’Or, but most of the others (the poppy line) have been fairly generic on my skin. And don’t even get me started on the headache that was Coach Legacy.
But this one? Very lovely. This is a sweet, soft floral musk fragrance in a gorgeous bottle. Reminiscent of Marc Jacobs, but for me even more likable. I mostly get freesia, musk, and woody notes, with a hint of jasmine and bergamot and not very much lily of the valley (which is good as that is a sneezer for me usually).
This is a keeper, and I even have a few friends that I’m going to recommend this to, as it’s right up their alleys.

This is a very light floral on me. I smell freesia and lily of the valley. That’s pretty much it. I don’t smell any hint of musk or spiciness. There’s no progression of this scent on me. It’s freesia and lily of the valley all the way through. It’s extremely light and doesn’t last long. I’ve taken to using this as an air freshener in my office.

This is light and airy, very early floral springtime. A beautiful scent but even with 4 sprays on my wrist it is still only a skin scent, one I must bury my nose in to smell, and right after spraying. Mostly freesia, no musk anything or if there is, it is so faint as to be practically unnoticable.
It’s like eating light/fat free caramel corn, you keep eating it because you want more, more, but it never satisfies.
Update: I wear this to bed often and fall asleep before it wears off. This is a beautiful fragrance except for the single issue of no longevity.

The freesia in this is very much the star, giving this a pleasant scent that, despite having a moderate sillage, still feels pleasantly light.
This quickly drops to a close to the skin scent, where it remains for quite a while. I never know what to put for longevity when a scent dies off quickly, but leaves a tiny bit that lasts forever. 🙂
If you can deal with so-so sillage and not the greatest longevity, this perfume will reward you for it. I always feel feminine and frilly when I have this one.

yes it is airy and head- inducing sometimes. I always avoid this perfume in the event of migrain. Whenever i spray this on, it resembles Daisy MJ. Like seriously? So nothing special bcos I cant separate this from Daisy. For comparison, Diasy is better. But this scent not bad at all. It just nothing really outstanding from my 2 cent 😛

I keep changing my mind about this scent. At first it smelled old lady-ish to me, but that might have been because I had just smelled a much younger scent not long before I smelled this one. On second application, I still was not the biggest fan, to me the freesia comes through loud and clear, but the other notes are lost with the overwhelming freesia. 3rd application I find I am starting to enjoy it, it will never be a go to, or a favorite of mine, but its simplicity is nice.

Not really what I expected based on the notes listed. It never settles into a musky drydown in my opinion. Very airy and fresh- the freesia stands out to me.

I actually prefer this flanker to the original because it smells more airy and fresh- the original has such a linear cling that I wish would just evolve into something else!
This perfume has been out for a few months (glad to finally see it on here), but I believe it is exclusively being sold at Ulta.com. You can actually snag this gem for a great price right now on their website ($36 for 1.7 oz).
