Description

Chopard launches a new limited edition of its Happy Spirit fragrance from 2007 for the Middle East. Happy Spirit Amira d’Amour is out in spring 2015 as a rich and sophisticated fragrance that celebrates the eternal love and romance.

“The last rays of light caress the golden dunes. The sky is melting into a velvet curtain of deep purple. Night slowly descends on the desert and a soft breeze brushes against her skin, arousing a shiver of anticipation down her spine. Scented with the sweet flowers and honey, the wind is full of untold promises, carrying a stirring feeling of joy and delight. It speaks of a romantic meeting still to come, of the melding of two hearts. It calls to her, whispering her secret name, amira…”

Creation of this oriental – floral fragrance is signed by perfumer Jean-Christophe Herault. The composition opens with spicy pink pepper, which leads to the floral heart of jasmine and orange blossom. The rich and warm base includes notes of honey and tonka bean.

Happy Spirit Amira d’Amour’s bottle is a tribute to Chopard’s jewelry-making tradition and know-how. Conceived by Patrick Veillet, it perfectly symbolizes what Amira d’Amour is about. Shaped as two interlocking hearts, the unique flacon is made of heavy glass. Its vibrant, intense purple tint evokes the fragrance’s nocturnal sensuality. The matching faceted stones on the stopper were inspired by the shape of a Chopard toi et moi ring. Their velvety depths are artfully emphasized by the surrounding golden band, a symbol of eternal love.”

The fragrance is available as 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

AHHHH this rich, sweet, opulent, decadent little Unicorn that took a year to find for sale anywhere near the United States and finally she is mine!
This is the richest honey + tonka fragrance that I own; sweet, decadent opulence and syrupy dark, I suspect this one will see a LOT of cold-weather wear from me.
    Fragrance: 9/10 easily
Performance: She’s a BEAST. Excellent value for the money.
Availability: HTF, available online in the US right now for under $40 USD.
Upon further wear, I’ve found that HSAdA opens with a sweet, delicious blast of honey and tonka bean made spicy by that pink pepper note. The opening stays strong for about an hour- 2 hours before the florals start to delicately peek through and shine, lifting the composition and adding an airy quality. Just gorgeous, the way this one evolves. And for longevity? I can still smell this the next morning after applying the night before.
ETA: Sentimental value = this one will never be for sale or trade as she was gifted to me by a dear friend and fellow member/ enthusiast.

Just received my new bottle full of honey and Tonka. But it is not my kind of perfume. Too dark lets say. So I have a new bottle for sale. Pm me if you are interested. I send all over the world

This is total LOVE for me. It’s currently around 65F and the honey in this is coming through slightly dirty for me…..which I LOVE! Blending in beautifully with the white florals. Lovely!! I want to bathe in it :o)

This is a tonka heavy, sweet, syrupy floral reminiscent of Lush’s Vanillary. Not as powerful as Vanillary by a long shot, but the feel is there. I am not keen on the Chopard house offerings…but if you like a heavy, sweet tonka based oriental then this is for you. The opening has the weird metallic smell I get from most Chopards. Might be the pink pepper…Madness did not smell like I thought it would, neither did this…hey ho…this is also very woody in the drydown…

@KarlekLila yes as you said its a middle eastern exclusive that’s why it’s called Amira which is the Arabic name for princess as LadiesRed said..btw I tried it, it was too sweet almost syrupy honey smothering as hell and it had a fruity vibe like dried fruits.

I did smell it and it is very sweet and fruity, ripe pineapple, amber, sugar, floral after some time sprayed… Nothing to do with pink pepper ..

Oh my goodness! I finally sampled Happy Spirit Amira d’Amour and was shocked!
Powerful first impression on a smokey oud note that was too masculine for my liking.
Thank goodness, the powerful note warmed to a sweet svelte scent of honey and gradually to some hints of florals.
The scent over several hours became more sweet, but not sickly with curious hints of honeyed fruit and soft whispers of florals.
I felt a slight resemblance to Thierry Mugler’s Womanity, but it was more earth and floral based with the sweet honey.
A precious gift for any Amira: Princess
