Description

Demeter Fragrance presents their new fragrance inspired by lemon which arrives as the third version of lemon offered in their collection. One of them smells like refreshing lemonade (Pink Lemonade), the second one like Meyer lemon (Meyer Lemon), while the latest one provides characteristic blend which, according to the brand, won’t be too sour or too sweet!

Demeter Fragrance Lemon Meringue is a light and prominent scent of lemon without tartness and bitterness that lemon may contain. The fragrance has creamy undertones of vanilla which will not highlight sweetness or sugar aromas, but provide balance and gentleness to the blend.

Demeter Fragrance Lemon Meringue is available as 15ml cologne mini splash, 15ml cologne purse spray, 30ml cologne spray, 120ml cologne spray, roll on perfume oil, along with accompanying body care assortment, including body care lotion 250ml, shower gel 250ml, massage oil 60ml, as well as room fragrance and diffuser.
Lemon Meringue was launched in 2014.

Plastic, chemical, artificial vanilla with fake lemons. Normally I can use body sprays or light perfumes as a room spray if I don’t like them, and my husband is okay with that, but he complained about his one and I had to use this up when he wasn’t home. I don’t know if it’s the base ingredients that they use or what, but I’ve tried several of these and they all seem to have a cheap/ motor oil type of undersmell to them? I love lemon, but I really don’t like this one at all.

At first spray, lemons, lemons, lemons! Then a few seconds of alcohol/hairspray, but those soon pass, and it’s back to glorious lemons once more. The vanilla comes out more later on. I will say that this is not the most long-lasting fragrance, although perhaps that’s to be expected from an EDC–I usually wear EDP so I’m more used to a stronger fragrance that lasts all day. This is perfect for day wear, especially in the summer, despite the vanilla note (it’s a light vanilla, and the lemon certainly keeps it lifted enough so as not to be cloying). I’d say this is perfect for a teen who wants to smell nice but isn’t ready for Le Deseigneur Eau de $$$ and thinks celebrity perfumes and lingerie retailer body sprays are a bit too over-the-top for her. This is also perfect for adults who enjoy the simple things in life–it smells just like lemon meringue pie and I love it. It’s certainly not too juvenile in my opinion, even though it’s fruity and sweet, because of its refined simplicity. As an added bonus, if you’re trying to smell nice but not too sexy for a (daytime) date, this’ll do ya: guys love lemons and vanilla, according to some studies I’ve found online. A clean, sweet, simple scent, this fragrance goes with a floral sundress just as much as a sweater and jeans. The uplifting combination of lemon and vanilla never fails to make me smile.

This one was so much better than I was expecting. After trying another demeter pie fragrance, I didn’t have my hopes up that this one would be any good, but I love this!
It smells exactly to me like the lemonade cookies that girl scouts sell every year, and I got such a craving for them every time I applied my sample. You get a creamy lemon/vanilla smell that is not at all harsh. It is mixed with a cookie/crumbly bread note that is the pie crust element to this scent, and I was so happy to get that, because I didn’t necessarily expect the entire pie to be represented but it is!
And this one along with marshmallow have been the longest lasting Demeters that I have tried, so bonus points for that.
    I’m definitely gonna purchase this.

Delectable dessert, reminiscent of Ganache Perfume’s Lemon Eclair. Where Ganache goes on bombastically loud, Demeter’s lemon meringue is chiffon-soft. LE has a 2-3 hr longevity, but Lemon Meringue goes 404 in 30 minutes tops. It might be a batch issue, or a personal olfactory issue, as others have had better results.
A big advantage of the Demeter offering, is the lack of gross synthetic aromachemical dry-down. It’s bothersome enough on Ganache, that you find yourself repeatedly spraying on the hour, to *avoid* the dry down. A cyclical reinforcement conceptually similar to heroin. You can’t afford to get hooked on that. I’m sticking with the Demeter.

This is so good, but it is very subtle. A good replacement for my lovely You Are Amazing Lemon Meringue body mist (which disappears after an hour, it seems).

I do like this, I believe I like Sugary Lemons More. To me this smells a little more like Key lime as opposed to “Lemon”. It is probably the type of lemon & mixture they use. So if it is a blind buy, just think more on the Key lime~ish side, as opposed to Sweet lemon. It was a blind buy for me, I thought about returning it, but I do like Lime, so I think I will mix this w/ a sweet note, like LVEB, or Black Opium to give it some sweetness, & to give the other a little fruit.

I’m really just going to duplicate everything that’s already been said, because it’s all true: This stuff smells delicious. Tart, sugary, creamy and refreshing. The vanilla note tempers the lemon just enough to create an appetizing balance of sweetness and citrus.
(If you’re wondering how this compares with Demeter’s Pink Lemonade — it’s smoother, and more sugary, mainly due to the vanilla.)

This fragrance will make me happy all summer. It does smell just like lemon merengue pie, my favorite. It’s lemon vanilla merengue powdered sugar and a bit creamy. Great lasting power…considering. I think this will make a great fragrance to use for layering, as well.

This is a pleasant lemon-vanilla scent. It’s more on the citrusy side though, which is fine. It’s lovely to wear during the daytime on a sunny day.

Given my immense fondness for homemade Lemon Meringue, this moves immediately on to my “Want” list.
If it is any like many of Demeter’s other Gourmand fragrances with a hint of freshness, it will be evocatively appealing to all my senses with a lingering desire to sink my teeth in to the real thing at the earliest opportunity.
    Inspirational.
