This is the same fragrance just with a little extra sparkle added for the holidays. These limited edition bottles are mainly done for gift giving and I think is a nice idea:)

I really like Belle D’Opium but Black Opium and all these flankers of this scent really do just smell like a new Britney release by jumping on the gourmand band wagon (and this is coming from someone who likes gourmands, but can also appreciate a good chypre, oriental or floral scent.) One of my favorite things about perfume is smelling all the different notes, the flancon artistry….so this never ending barrage of watered down gourmands in extra sparkly bottles is getting rather tiresome. I mean, I could just buy Swarovski crystals at my local craft shop or ebay and glue them on my current bottles, if I really wanted, for a fraction of the price tag they are charging for these 😛
