At The very first whiff I was in love…..but that love quickly faded as the beautiful red rose was snatched away and replaced with a heaping basket of warm, wet laundry….the honeymoon phase didn’t last long for me and I’m too bourgeoisie for some else’s moist linens…thanks but no thanks….

tries to do something at first then go’s just strait rose water after 10 min
    rose rose and more rose!!
I love the smell of roses but this is not quite the kind of rose smell I want just don’t seem to work for me at least not on me
    it’s a pass

Looove This one… especially layered with The blur filter from same Maison Margiela. Also The silage gets Way better when layered. Beautiful, soft and clean scent.

I have the discovery set for this whole line of perfumes and Lazy Sunday Morning while nice enough is just not my thing. Not sure if it’s the “industrial clean” laundry musk? I like the rose used in here it’s soft and delicate. This rose note does remind me slightly of the one in the Narciso Rodriguez for her perfumes though I don’t think this smells like anything NR would put out, his fragrances are more exciting, punchy and loud at least by comparison to this one. The musk in the NR for her perfumes is also different – less dryer sheet. I think anyone who’s worn and loved NR for her EDP (light pink) or EDT(black) will be very “meh, who cares” toward Lazy Sunday Morning because it’s sort of a watered down and less complex version of anything from that line. But I mean, if the NR were too strong for you or gave you headache but you liked the scents then this might be one to try.
I may give this sample to my sister – she loves really laundry musk types of fragrance and has been through multiple bottles of things like Clair de Musc by Serge Lutens and Pure Grace by Philosophy so she might at least wear the whole sample.

This was a conflicting scent for me. I almost like it but it remains too cool, dry and crisp for me. It feels scratchy when I breathe it in and although there is an underlying story that I like – it evokes an image of a snowstorm in a pine tree forest, with icy blues and deep greens – it is not a fit for me, I wish it had been.

The sample I had was basically like diving head-first into a big pile of freshly laundered clothes. That’s not my style, but my mom LOVED it! And she has a sensitive nose.

A light soft vaguely floral musk on me. Neither offensive nor interesting. Just meh.

On me this is a light soft musky rose. I am not picking up the pear note at all, not even on the dry down. I also don’t pick up any white floral. Perhaps a bit of the pepper note and a bit of patchouli. But for me this is just a soft light musky rose. I like it. This does not remind me of Narciso Rodriguez nor SJP’s Lovely, but I can see how this would to some noses. Lazy Sunday Morning just has a nicer, softer edge for me. I love Narciso (one of my all time fave’s) and I do like SJP’s Lovely. But there is something relaxing and laid back that I get/feel with Lazy Sunday Morning that I don’t get with those other 2 fragrances, which….is so fitting, given the name. I will say, Lazy Sunday Morning lacks longevity for me. This becomes a skin scent within an hour and completely poofs within about 3 hours. Narciso and SJP’s Lovely both last way longer. But there is still a ‘calmness’ that I get with Lazy Sunday Morning that I enjoy.

Laundry detergent 100%. The opening is more white florals and less detergent, but the detergent gets stronger and stronger until it completely takes over.
It’s probably the most accurate laundry smell I’ve encountered, actually. I guess that says something about the detergents I use.
Good for those who like fresh, clean laundry scents.

Laundry detergent and roses. Musk and roses.

Fresh crisp linen out of the laundry. Clean eveyday scent. Didn’t expect rose could be associated with this, as like what greenbluegray said. Being marketed as a soft frangrance, I am quite impressed with its longetivity as it lasted me the whole day, and I just used 1 spray!!

A lovely, quite strong floral scent.

I don’t associate a lazy Sunday morning with sharp rose, but I tried this anyway. Way too much rose for me and even a whiff of that scented tampon smell, sorry. I hoped it would be more of a blend as a floral woody musk (I love so many in this category). I get patchouli instead of musk with it. Seems like we all approach this scent very differently, so interesting. The sample was inexpensive.

It’s strange that earlier reviews call this soft and inoffensive, but the most recent reviews call it musky, heavy, and comparable to Narciso Rodriguez. I have an older sample that I’ve been nursing for awhile, so I’m going off on that.
For something with iris, musk, and patchouli (my deadly triad that almost always screams on my skin), this is soft and pleasant. I’ve worn this casually when I couldn’t decide otherwise. Maybe I’m partially unable to smell the musk in this. Maybe people around me are struggling to breathe while I wander about in my pleasant scented bubble. But I like it, and once my sample runs out, I will buy more.

I am a bit disappointed. I bought Lazy Sunday Morning because it is supposed to smell like clean linen. As far as I’m concerned, a clean linen scent should smell like a mix of sharp laundry detergent and fabric softener if that makes sense. Wet linen drying in a garden. That’s why I love Byredo Blanche and Narciso Rodriguez Essence.
I think this fragrance smells exactly like bed linen out of the dryer: the sharpness of the detergent has disappeared and it smells warm, cozy and soft. So if it is your definition of a clean scent, definitely go for it!
Personally I can’t see the similarity to Narciso for her which is much more potent and floral…

It was LOVE AT FIRST SNIFF! The opening smelled like lychee to me, which is probably the pear note. At first it smells really fruity and fresh. The dry down is like a load of freshly washed, steamy laundry straight out the dryer (but with musk). It’s absolutely gorgeous, light and inoffensive. The only down side is that it doesn’t last long at all, less than an hour on me.

  17. :

The skeleton is kind of similar to Frederic Malle’s Superstitious. Although no mimosa in it, but rose, lily-of-the-valley and orris give the same flower vibe, followed by incense ,” sandalwoody” smell. I hate sandal wood and Superstitious was way too much nauseating for me, but Lazy Afternoon is a work of art, it’s beautiful, inoffensive for anybody . The same as Malle’s, but very light with a harmony.

I haven’t tested this one extensively, but my first impression is this is a combination of a skin-like musk, laundry detergent, and a sweet maple syrup like scent that my car makes on occasion (a leak of some sort?). Very good for everyday.

  19. :

    4 out of 5

I’m getting a musky rose, a little sour. It’s similar to Narciso Rodriguez For Her, but I think Narciso smells much better. I don’t get any of the clean scent on my skin that’s others are getting, which is disappointing because I love that clean linen smell. I’m going to have to either wash it off or layer it today.

amourdelarose’s review captures the scent best! Smells just like a warm, fluffy towel at a luxury spa. I like the scent enough, but would never pay the price point for it. I would much rather have a bottle of Lipstick On, By the Fireplace, or Tea Escape.
I don’t really imagine a situation or place where this would be my go-to fragrance… maybe if I was a spa manager…?

Having just received a sample of this from a gorgeous and generous fellow Fragrantican today, this is another – at least, at first impression – immediate LOVE. Eliciting an emotional response (I teared up), she’s on the list for “to buy in 2018” and I mean a full bottle.
Maison Martin Margiela Replica is two for two with me so far; I adore this house and line.
Again, this isn’t a thorough review, but as a first impression it’s powerful enough that I had to mention these things immediately.
    Edit, the next day:
Well, she opened up with unparalleled beauty but within an hour, something in the composition turned screechy on me and that didn’t leave until I washed it off. Pity.
I’ll have to test it again another time and see if things are any different. So, quickly moved this from the “to buy” to the “to retest” list.

In the beginning, I really liked the fresh scent of this. It smelt amazing, but after only 1 hour, all I could smell was ROSE. And not fresh rose, no old lady rose. It just wasn’t a flattering or intriguing perfume anymore. It wasn’t awful, but it was also just roses, and I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be able to decipher my perfumes to one note only…
It has an okay staying power, but the rose scent just ruins the whole concept of this fragrance. It’s not lazy morning in bed, it’s just roses and maybe the tiniest bit of musk and lily of the valley.
Not for me, but if you like roses, you will love this!

You know those newly washed towels they give you in spas, you take it in the sauna with you and in there, with that dry dry heat and the smell of hot wooden benches, that towels scent transforms into something clean but warm, somehow reminiscent of sunkissed bare skin.. This perfume is the closest it gets to that. It does ressemble Narciso For Her yes but Narciso’s peach keeps it from being laundry kind of fresh/warm/new. So I’m guessing it’s the lack of fruitiness, plus the aldehydes that makes this smell like a sun or heat dried towel.. just perfect.

    mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm this smells sO LOVELY!!!
But sillage is nOTHING!! I sprayed 10-15x! Then again
that may just be part of the charm. On the offset I get
ROSE, but nothing jammy or floral. There’s green. It’s
mixed really well. I’d also describe it as CREAM. Um…
uni? I don’t think so. FEMME, this is. wearing at night
and it’s raining… the perfect occasion <3 in the fall <3
actually sillage IS there! I wore this beatch 3 days in a
row and it DOES last. Word is this is good for when u
want to smell good but not smell like perfume. YEP !
Appropriate to wear anywhere, yes there’s a hint of
linen in there. Sillage is just APPROPRIATE ntmntl

Clean, fresh, and way more floral on my skin than what I smell in the bottle. My skin also projects the sweetness of the florals, so it doesn’t smell like something my partner would want to wear at all. A nice perfume when I have the rare day where I don’t want to smell like perfume.

If you bother to create a concept for a fragrance, such as a particular time and place, even a particular year, especially if you name the fragrance “REPLICA” in big letters, you should at least appear to have known a little bit about the atmosphere you seek to replicate.
Florence in 2003, on a sunday morning. That year was the hottest year on record at the time, and waking up from your Florentine bed you would normally be sweaty and covered in mosquito bites (Florence is particularly plagued by them). On a sunday morning, there is ALWAYS the smell of coffee in Italy. Always. No coffee on this perfume, which I think it’s a major missed opportunity (lily of the valley and coffee might make an interesting combination).
Other smells from Florence, especially in 2003, pre-social media:
    – printed books, some with mould in them (Florence is also a humid place, and in the summer is hot-humid)
    – pastries
-wisteria, which pervades all Florentine gardens
None of these is there and it’s a shame.
This is a clean lily of the valley innocuous scent, not particularly interesting or memorable.

Smells like fresh laundry and powdery florals. A nice smell but heading into headache territory so not for me

  28. :

    4 out of 5

The top notes are fruity fresh. The middle notes have iris that smells of dirty powder, kind of like in Prada’s infusion d’iris. The musk in the base turns kind of sour, which is what Narciso Rodriguez for her does on my skin. Overall, the top and mids are nice but doesn’t stand out very much. The base notes doesn’t work with my skin. It has a relaxed attitude. Good for pretty much any daytime occasion.

  29. :

    4 out of 5

Pleasant fragrance with a bit of sharpness in the opening with the aldehydes, mid-phase is a warm clean skin scent to my nose but the drydown is too musky for my taste. Folks who love musk and powder with a bit of florals will love this one. I agree with the comparisons to the Narciso Rodriguez fragrances. Again, pleasant but nothing I want to buy.

I just got this a few days ago and I so am smitten. Not sure about this being a Lazy Sunday Morning fragrance, I will wear this all day every day. I got a sample at Sephora on a whim and ended up going back the same day and purchasing the full size bottle I was so obsessed. my only complaint is that I wish it lasted a bit longer, but honestly I have dry skin and live in AZ so my skin eats up most fragrances. Longevity on me is about 3-4 hours. I will still continue to re-apply because I love it that much. Total sucker for this packaging and the bottle too. This is my JAM.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

Really isn’t all that bad. I, too, am a sucker for the advertising of this line. Musky, as everyone says, misses the sort of universal idea of what a Lazy Sunday Morning in bed would smell like. Not fresh, not getting any real cottony smells, perhaps a more realistic rendition but unfortunately doesn’t conjure those ideas. More skin and musky rose. 7/10, good none the less. Simple and warm.

Lazy Sunday Morning by Maison Martin Margiela immediately reminded me of Narciso Rodriguez for Her EDT given the generous dose of slightly animalic, fruity musk. However, once one zooms in for a closer look, it is clear that the two compositions are very different. Both open with fruit and musk: LSM presents a large dose of aldehydes, while NR for Her has just a pinch of shimmer that quickly dissolves into the bold fruit (peach accord). Next, it becomes clear that the main floral note in LSM is not orange blossom, but in NR for Her it sticks around until the end. The floral note in LSM simultaneously melds with the sharp-edged aldehydes and the snuggly musk. To me this is what makes the fragrance brilliant—it lifts off the skin while For Her forms an amalgam with skin and hair. LSM has a subtle salt accord (feminine sweat) that slowly evolves within the folds of musk—it IS the skin wearing perfume.
How does one choose between the two? I think the aldehydes offer a big enough punch to be off-putting for aldehyde wimps (like me), but LSM almost makes For Her feel like the pretty, polite younger sister.
Maybe I’m a sucker for the marketing.
    4.5/5

From the description, I had very high hopes for this perfume. Lazy Sunday Morning should smell of fresh linen, cozy and warm bed. Maybe some flowers by the bedside, but light and aromatic. However, the true representation of this perfume is different from its title. It mainly smells of roses and a sharp musk that never softens. I’m not sure why musk was used here at all. It reminds me of one of Narciso Rodriguez fragrances that are known for being musky floral. Please don’t let the titlle fool you. This is not a fresh linen kind of smell like the Clean perfumes. It’s a heavy musky rose that represents a cold fall or winter day vs a lazy casual Sunday morning in bed.

So this is a very pretty, cozy sent – at first it reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez for her – and then sort of morphs to Ralph Lauren Romance – it’s a pretty scent, since I already have the above referenced perfumes but I won’t be purchasing a bottle.

    Sour sweet roses.
Airy fresh sweet roses. It’s not really a lazy sunday rather than beautiful Sunday! it has that happy notes like a good news feeling u just heard! or fresh flowers you received (Not roses).
Pears, lily of the valley, neroli, slight roses, and a bit iris. No patchouli, no musk mellow, & no musk.
    Fair after all.

  36. :

At first I smell musk, rose, pear, lily of the valley, and iris. Its all very fresh and juicy, it’s youthful but not girly. But an hour later the drydown matures and becomes more sophisticated now smelling mostly of clean musk and rose. Its actually pretty nice and it depicts its name perfectly being very relaxed, down to earth and easy going. Its nothing deep or complex but it’s easy to enjoy.

  37. :

Do I love it? Yes. Is it for me? No.
I love the feelings evoked…lazy sunday morning…sunlight peeping through the blinds, listening to the coffee maker going, while I snuggle next to hubby for a few more moments. Crisp, white linens, the body heat of your loved one besides you.
Soft, soapy, ever so slightly floral. Very clean, soft musk. So beautiful, casual, but somehow sophisticated and elegant.

  38. :

Not impressed with this one at all, especially for the price. Although it is nicely blended and has a smoother feel to it than many of the Clean scents, you could definitely get the same effect with one of them for a fraction of the price. There are many to choose from – I really like Clean Skin – it’s not screechy or smelling of detergent or fabric softener. Just soft and clean. That’s what I use for those days when I just need something fresh and clean so this one is a definite pass for me.

  39. :

    3 out of 5

    Musk and rose, that all.
To my nose this is not a well blended perfume. The musk and roses are just here without any “composition”.
For a better rose musk try Arden’s Sunflowers Dream Petals.

(Got this as a sample when I bought a perfume from Nordstrom.) When sprayed on clothes or in the air, this gives the impression of fresh linens — but not in an oceanic sort of way — I hate ocean scents, so it is good that there’s none of that going on here. Just fresh & slightly soapy.
When sprayed on the skin, two words: ROSE MUSK. It is a lovely sort of rose; it’s not too sweet and not too green — I think this is !truly! the only fragrance that captures a wild Rose’s fragrance. It’s perfectly balanced. If you are someone who’s body chemistry loves musks and Orientals, this will work for you , although — I have to say, this lovely fragrance fits into neither of those categories. This is in its own element of clean, musk-rose innocence
You could wear this to school or work and you wouldn’t offend anyone, it’s subtle enough, but it stays like a soft cloud (close to your skin) throughout the day. And you will probably get several compliments. If you’ve been unable to wear rose scents due to body chemistry conflicts (like I have), and you’ve been searching for a delicate not-overly-intrusive rose fragrance, this is it.
Lazy Sunday Morning dries down to a soft, (yet energizing?) musk with wild roses in the background. Clean, safe, wearable, and noticeable. Not my signature scent, but I could see owning this and wearing it when I want a bit of springtime in November. What else can I say? This is spring in a bottle! And it is very lovely.

Love this one ! Fresh soapy , super musky and yes very similar to lovely by SJP and the pink EDP by NR , and even more similar to Blanche by Byredo , because of the addition of aldehydes. the drydown is what I like about this the best, it’s clean and fresh and powdery in the drydown. Like drier sheets or bedsheets I suppose. Pleasant and fresh ! This is my new clean scent perfume , in love ! It’s elegant yet cozy , and super versatile because of that. You can wear this to any function and always be apropriate. I believe this will gather tones of compliments.
Best review I read on this is by BOIS DE JASMIN , spot on. So if you have to blind buy it read her review and you will know exactly what it smells like.
Also these scents aren’t too expensive as some say. Don’t forget it’s 100 ml so it’s same prices as Most perfumes for 100ml. Just a shame that they aren’t sold in 50 ml I guess. At least there is the rollerball option.

  43. :

The rose, lily of the valley, and musk are the strongest notes for me. If this is a lazy Sunday morning, it is one where I am eating breakfast on my deck in early June, with the flowers in bloom and dew on the grass. I don’t get the sense of being in bed at all. I really love this scent. It is a little reminiscent of Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, but with more sillage and longevity.

  44. :

    3 out of 5

If this is a lazy Sunday morning, it’s a lazy Sunday morning in the late summer after a rainy night. You’re freshly showered and smell like soap and lotion and warm body. The windows are open, and there’s a welcome cool breeze, bringing with it the smell of the wet roses and late blooming irises outside. This Sunday morning is the first cool morning after a long, hot summer – it’s crisp and refreshing, rosy and vegetal, but with a hint of remaining warmth in the musk.
For me, the rose and patchouli make Lazy Sunday Morning a bit sharper than I like. My skin can amp both notes in not very pleasant ways, so the opening was quite sharp and made my nose run. After about an hour, the sharpness died down a bit and I was left with a pleasant, cool, clean scent. About an hour later, it was mostly gone. If I could hold onto that hour or two of clean, crisp, rose and iris, I would consider a full bottle.

I bought the 100ml bottle of this perfume at the KaDeWe in Berlin during my travels after a series of grueling auditions for graduate schools and as a reward to myself for getting into one of these schools. I bought it for the USD equivalent of $100, tax included; personally thought that was a steal since I would have had to pay $125+tax in the US to get it at Sephora.
I had actually gone into the department store with the full intention of buying the V&R Bonbon Hair Mist, a totally different kind of scent… but I saw the full display of Maison Martin Margielas and just had to wander over and give everything a sniff. I had already smelled the whole line at Sephora before and wasn’t impressed the first time around, but the packaging is just too pretty for me to resist picking up the bottles and re-sniffing them every time I see them.
Out of all the MMM scents, the only other one that I liked enough to try on skin was Tea Escape. That day, I picked up Lazy Sunday Morning and sprayed it on my arm on a whim. My boyfriend, who usually just says everything smells good to him and doesn’t really discern between scents, instantly said that he really, really liked the smell of this perfume. He convinced me to buy Lazy Sunday Morning instead of Bonbon Hair Mist and it turned out to be a great decision!
Lily of the valley has always worked well with my skin, and the drydown proved to be an absolutely warm and lovely cloud. It smells natural and clean, like freshly laundered clothes over just-bathed skin, and the patchouli is not offensive or loud at all. I’ve been wearing this scent often for the last two months and absolutely love it! I’ve received compliments on it when I wore it layered lightly over Nirvana White too, so that may be a combo you may want to try too!

  46. :

Without looking at the notes ahead of time, I spritzed on Lazy Sunday Morning and smelled musk, sweet roses, a hint of iris that smelled waxy like old soap (and soon faded), fruit, and lily of the valley, and I see that I got the bulk of the notes right.
I think it’s a nice perfume if you are into musky florals. I would put it into the same category as Chloe Intense–dewy, fresh roses and white musk. But Lazy Sunday Morning is a bit more perky due to the green lily of the valley. I’m not sure I understand the “Lazy” part about it. To me it smells bright and energetic. Roses remind me of walking in the rose gardens or maybe strolling through a open air market. Maybe a lazy stroll?
Sillage and longevity are excellent, and that is something I appreciate about it. So far, I really like this house and find their perfumes to be easy to like.

Originally I was standing in the middle of Sephora when a bowl of roller balls caught my eye, and lo and behold that’s when I found Lazy Sunday Morning. I opened the roller ball, smelled it and then applied it and went on my way. It wasn’t anything special, it smelled nice and seemed easy to wear. Boy was I wrong. Honestly? This is down right ADDICTING. I kept on smelling my wrist during work and ended up falling head over heels for it. a little bit musky, floral and just all around clean smelling, it’s not mind breaking or original, but god does it smell good. I ended up caving and buying the roller ball because I didn’t wanna commit to a full size but really, this fragrance makes for a good, easy to wear day time scent with it leaning more towards spring or summer.

This smells like hope. I find LSM easy to wear, but still very interesting. For me it’s a very beautiful, glowing orange blossom fragrance. It is more like a bright, hopeful sunny morning – you wake up feeling fresh and alive with memories of the delightful night before (whatever that entailed)..it was an indulgent night but somehow you feel healthy and excited, not wrecked.
It seems the orange blossom florals evokes this happy glow of morning light, grounded with iris, and musky hair and sheets, comfort and beauty rolled into one.
I have a rollerball, so I haven’t sprayed this scent. Although the opening is glorious it becomes a close to the skin scent, and it is pricey, but I think I need a bottle. I was happy to see that Victoria of Bois de Jasmin gave Lazy Sunday Morning four stars, her description is beautiful, but the quick summary is a champagne breakfast in bed, lovely!

I love clean, crisp, scents and anything rose, so I was excited to sample this. I am very disappointed. On my skin, it is a heavy, dated, white musk. The silage is poor, but considering I don’t care for the scent, that is fine. I do not pick up any scent but musk. This is one of the only musk scents that doesn’t also have a pepper scent, so if you want a “softer” musk, then this is for you. I will be giving the rest of the sample to my husband to try.
ETA: I gave it to my husband, and it was a hit. I might request him wear this one often!

It is exactly what it says it is… and that is perfect. This is my “I feel a little blue today” scent. It lifts me up and takes me to a lazy Sunday morning at grandmas house. The instant I smelled this scent the memories it brought back where so strong it made me tear up a little. I couldn’t ask for anything better in a scent that is meant to evoke a specific place and time.

After a year of wanting this I finally broke down and bought it. This whole line is overpriced IMO, but this one in particular I just can’t get out of my head.
It’s such a clean and classy floral. The Rose and iris are not candied in the slightest. . This has an astringent quality. I actually smell like bleach to be honest. But very expensive at the same time.
It’s a definite laundry scent but a far cry from clean warm cotton.
And this one my husband likes as well– which is odd bc he very rarely likes any perfume enough to comment.
Last summer I went through 3 sample vials, and just couldn’t justify the price… Then this year rolled around. And realizing how I find most of the citrus/fresh/fraiche/fruity floral selections of spring and summer to be pretty gross, I realized I actually need this fragrance in my life.
I think this will serve as a spring and summer staple in my arsenal.
I honestly cannot think of a single dupe of this fragrance. If I could I probably would have bought that instead. Because again, I find this whole line overpriced.

This definitely smells like Sarah Jessica Parker’s Lovely. For me it is more wearable though because it’s lacking the pepper note which I under appreciate. It feels a bit lighter and brighter than lovely. However given the price difference I’d be willing to stomach the pepper.

I love everything about this. It has immense appeal to me with its no frills print style bottle that reminds me of library cards to its simple composition.
It smell like irises and roses, mostly moist beautiful roses. I’m a bit sad the Rose doesn’t stick around longer as on me it plays second fiddle within the first 5 minutes to a powdery musk and wood. It’s still completely lithe and relaxing, like that first stretch in the morning before you slump back down into the pillows and sheets.

I should admit first of all that I first smelled this in a delirious state; I had just inhaled a long list of perfume testers at Saks. The first whiff didn’t make much of an impression–it brought to mind the faint smell of gauzy curtains with sun’s rays falling on them.
I did take a tester paper home with me and found in the dry-down that it smells exactly of walking into a second-hand clothing store, of Salvation Army laundered clothes–lingering harsh medicinal detergent mingled with throngs of long-ago wearers’ body scents. Not a pleasant association for me.

A really interesting scent on me. The opening is stunningly well-composed and slightly addictive. It’s somewhere between a clean and a dirty musk – I would call it a slept-in musk. That plus the cozy feeling of clean sheets or a freshly washed bathrobe makes me feel like I’m sitting in a sunny bedroom by the beach. There’s the tiniest hint of a marine element, perhaps from one of the woodsy notes.
Sadly, as the perfumes develops on my skin it becomes a little less lovable and certainly less unique. It becomes increasingly floral, with the rose becoming quite dominant. It’s a soft and musky rose, but it has that slightly “old school” rose scent to it. The combination of notes could almost be mistaken for citrus in nature, it’s quite odd.
If I could encapsulate the first hour of this it would be a “love” but the drydown just isn’t for me.

I too was also expecting a crisp cottony and/or light musk scent. However, I got completely overwhelmed by the strong and heavy woods and musk. While the sample card said Lazy Sunday Morning was for women, I think it would be better on men, lightly applied.

I was hoping to get the soft. light, clean sheets type of scent that others describe, but what I got was a screaming floral horror. It reminds me of Ralph Lauren’s Romance, which has a bright, screechy note that makes me want to stick my head in a Port-a-Potty for relief. On me this is like a harsh, chemical concoction of “florals” that hits a high note in a few minutes and never changes. Never got a hint of powder to soften it. It sounded so nice, but definitely doesn’t work for me.

Surprised to see the negative reviews !
I find Lazy Sunday Morning to be a beautiful, fresh, soft and clean scent. I think he implication is a “sleeping in, in freshly laundered sheets” vibe. Definitely a clean bed linens scent.
This also reminds me of a productive Saturday morning, bringing in clothesline linens that smell like sunshine and fabric softener and fresh air.
I find this quite lovely, and each time I spray it, my family expresses their love for this pretty, sunny scent !

The second I sprayed this on myself it immediately reminded me of my grandmother. It’s not a bad scent, but definitely more mature than what I prefer to wear as someone under the age of 30. It smells very floral, clean, comforting, and pleasant but is a step or two away from cloying. For me, the silage is low to moderate but longevity is moderate to long-lasting (6+ hours). I agree with Rowena in that I see this as a cooler weather fragrance and it is “thick” – one spritz was plenty for me. This is a scent to wear to church or a low-key family get together, definitely not a nighttime fragranc
