Soft and uplifting warm Lily of the Valley and Tuberose cloud of fragrance. Very pleasing easy to wear and like other reviewers, I find this great for layering and also perfect on its own. Looking forward to this in the coming Autumnal days.
Fantastic price point. Wonderful very old New Orleans perfume house. And if you ask them to label the products as oil samples with a dollar value of no more than 35 dollars, you avoid Customs charges here in the UK. The word perfume seems to trigger restrictions and charges for overseas customs. Just a tip

High quality, soft and gentle charmer.
I would classify this as an elegant version of J Lo Glow. It is really quite similar, as if a traditional perfumery had done their own take on a popular scent and won first prize! Musk is the dominant note – clean and dreamy and lily leaning.
For those unfamiliar with Bourbon French, they are a historic New Orleans perfumery with an online web page – so that now we do not have to travel the miles to shop the quality! They offer fragrances in many sizes and products, from bath powder to travel size roll ons. The price point of the roll ons is quite reasonable, meaning that anyone can have a bit of New Orleans in their wardrobe. 😀
La Pluie means ‘The Rain’, and it could not be more appropriately named.

I found this a very lovely and versatile scent for day or night. On me it became a gently radiating skin scent after about three hours. This is a perfect one to keep in the purse for any time and great for layering as the white musk is very complimentary to other fragrances. It reminds me very much of a “China Rain/China Musk” fragrance, but the tuberose gives it a bit of a kick. I could wear this every day. Just beautiful. 🙂
