I ‘ve never been a big fan of lavender or green perfumes.
But in this perfume it blends well with the other fragrance notes. And it came out very lovely.
I was wearing this perfume on a sunny spring day. And it turned out as promised,a fresh green (but not to green) joyful and uplifting perfume.

The lime is very prominent in this-its lime zest, very fresh and bright. I got soapy notes in the dry down which were clean and crisp, but I didn’t get too much lavender at all. Towards the end there were musky and almost woody notes appearing. The sillage is very soft and longevity is moderate-it lasted about 3 hours on me. It was a light summer day fragrance to me, quite light hearted and fun rather than being seductive and slinky.

The perfumer describes this as “a lovely green delight that is fresh and inviting”
Indeed. If you’ve ever had a chance to smell pure verbena, then you’ll get the gist of this fragrance. I do get a a strong dose of lavender, and this I”m not pleased with, but the dry down returns to something more zesty and crisp. If you’re wondering by the notes if this is ‘too green’, your answer might be ‘yes’, but the over all blend renders it a ‘yellow green’ and not a ‘razor’s edge green’, if that makes sense.
Josephine is not very tenacious, wearing more as a skin scent, but not so much that you wonder where it went.
My parting thoughts: yes, a lovely green delight, but lavender needs to be a note you wear well in order to fall in love this submission.
