Old school classy fragrance.
I have the complete line (except deodorant stick/spray which they don’t seem to make) and it is great for times when you want something quite elegant and discrete.
One thing I am really impressed with the Bronnley line (check “English Fern” too) is how they have that connection with nature, they smell really natural, like someone picked herbs and mixed them with oils. .
I could see James Bond rocking this during his visit to the scottish highlands in Skyfall 🙂

Reviews here and elsewhere, including YouTube, variously describe Gentlemen and its repackaged/rebranded versions Body Care and Original (all supposedly the same thing!) as reminiscent of 4711, Aqua di Parma, dry green florals from yesteryear, and barbershop muskiness.
I can’t see the connection with any of those descriptions. I confess, I only own the soap, but it registers as something vaguely like Versace’s Dreamer with a somewhat lime-like top note.
It’s nice, but nothing like I expected based on reviews. I’m a little disappointed, but it will get used for sure.

Love this stuff for the summer, orange and citrus with oakmoss & cedar undertones, no great projection, but great sillage & just fresh and clean, just what is needed in an English summer, in between the rain ! A classy, understated, English fragrance, from an old established company, well done Bronnley.
