Honey myrrh, ambergris, & red roses.
It begins medicinal for few seconds then rests salty, peppery, and sharp roses. I can detect the red roses, the ambergris, salt, & myrrh.
Later i can detect some medicinal incense again. Very interesting & it does smell like “Amber Fetiche” by Annick Goutal..
The colder it goes, the henna note starts to show clear.
Edit (26th Oct 2018) This is an extreme spicy blend with ambergris, myrrh, and herbal. I does have roses but kept to minimal. It’s more of spices with hints of ambergris. Henna indeed is there hen it dries down. Interesting.

I sampled it 2 years ago at Jovoy Paris but to my disappointment they ran out of it.
This year I was back to Europe and it was my goal to hunt it down and get it. So I did. It still is as amazing as I remember it. Dark, sexy, syrupy without being sickly sweet, smokey concoction. I’m not getting a whole lot of rose here…Just dark, heavy amber. Sexy AF.

A bombastic balsamic amber with a dry character and a remarkable resin-y / incensey presence. Compared to other more popular ambers, Harem Soiree feels overall less sugary and probably a tad rougher with an almost sulphurous quality. All aspects that play in the fragrance’s favor. Simple and with a clear artisanal vibe, thick and potent. Probably not groundbreaking but if you’re into resinous stuff, give this a chance as this probably one of the most powerful ambers available in the westerner market.
