Description

You can not only listen to Mariah Carey, but also smell her first fragrance. Our fragrance always reveals our desires and thoughts better than words. This oriental fragrance by Mariah Carey, named M, is captured in a very romantic and delicate bottle, designed by Jean Antretter. It was designed by two perfumers – Carlos Benaim and Loc Dong.

Mariah comments on her first fragrance: “For me, creating this scent was like creating a song – it takes many notes to compose a fragrance. It’s like a beautiful melody.”

Its opening is unusual, judging by its composition: it is a combination of sweet marshmallow and fresh sea notes. A heart unites sweet Tiare flower and gardenia. The oriental character is growing stronger with time and a drydown reveals amber, patchouli and Morocco incense.

The fragrance comes as 15ml parfum, 30m, 50ml and 100ml eau de parfum, accompanied with a matching body lotion. A beautiful set of miniatures which includes three gracious small flacons with charming butterflies has been available since October 2008 for 35 dollars. Purple, pink and golden butterflies contain 0.16 fl.oz (5 ml)of fragrant fluid each and are a real treat.
M was launched in 2007.

It’s an interesting opening. Burnt marshmallows and incense. Gradually the incense fades and its tiare flowers with sugar. It’s not awful but it smells way to girly for my taste.
I’m not sure what happened to the patch and aquatic notes. The gardenia is very low key if at all The amber adds a resinous base.
For most of the timeline it’s powdery tiare. Fluffy marshmallows in the sky.
Moderate longevity and sillage. A nice perfume for a teenager.

I haven’t worn M in months, maybe even a year. I wore it last night after washing and wearing my favorite white robe. Ooh, goodness! This stuff is heavenly! I woke up this morning and put on my robe. I had this this amazing scent wafting around me. I completely forgot I had sprayed M before bed. Goodness, this stuff is great! While I wear it to bed, I think it would be a truly sexy scent to wear on a 2nd or 3rd date!
I wrote a real, in-depth review in May of 2017. I just wanted to touch base that this thing is so close to an ethereal experience.

Absolutely beautiful, luxurious, very long lasting. It gets better as time goes by, I sprayed this before bed and could still smell it in the morning and it was just as beautiful 🙂 love getting a hit, whiff of this throughout the day when I wear it. Soooo good.

@ladyjm89 Thanks for the kindly heads-up! I too had no idea that was against the rules!
I think your review is spot-on about this fragrance! It’s yummy and marshmallowy, but not sickly sweet, I am loving the amber and aquatic notes in the drydown! Honestly I didn’t think Mariah would take fragrance making seriously but it seems a good deal of thought went into this! Maybe not a safe blind-buy, but I don’t see it really offending anyone unless you don’t care for the smoky notes. But they are well-blended imo, not harsh at all.

    The bottle:
It’s looks like all of her other ones. It’s cute looks like a flower and the cap is Mariah Carey signature butterfly. Doesn’t capture the look of what the perfume would be like but its still a nice bottle.
    Inside the bottle:
Sweet,Woody,Unique. When sprayed you smell the marshmallow, florals and incense. When dried you can smell the patchouli, and other notes pop up. Longevity is very good can last for the whole day.
    Overall:
This perfume is great for someone who loves sweet and woody scent. This perfume reminds me of roasting marshmallow on a campfire. Great for when the weather is colder or in the summer at night.

Invites to swap run rampant in the reviews section. They are literally EVERYWHERE. I honestly had no idea that this was against the rules as no joke, everyone is doing it! I was reported to an admin the first time I offered to swap. However, the admin kindly explained to me that there is a section in the forums for this, and it’s not to be done anywhere else because it distracts from the actual purpose of the reviews section. Understandable! But I don’t get my jollies from policing and reporting others, so this is just a friendly fyi for those like me who may not have known.
Onto the perfume: I’m very much in love with this, in fact it may even be my new fall time favorite! It opens with a smooth sticky marshmallow, almost like a toasted mallow with the slight smokiness, and dries down to sea notes and gardenia. I’m not getting much Tiare, just aquatic gardenia atop a gentle base of ambery patch. The marshmallow notes linger throughout, although they are much softer towards the drydown. To me this smells like a perfect getaway scent, a beach campfire and salty sea breeze!
    Scent 8/10
    Sillage 6/10
    Longevity 7/10

Don’t try to swap with Ihm below. She tried to get me to send $80 worth of perfumes for that little mini she supposedly has of M. I’m glad someone else has called her out for seeming scammy.
That being said, If you like smoky, incense-y perfumes, you might like this.

This is beautiful perfume to me, every note is discernible and I really appreciate Mariah for having the taste and the very good technical skill of the “nose” she worked with to create this lovely scent in an inviting bottle.
From the onset I get this beautiful medley, the lovely marshmallow combined with that sea water note, heading down into winsome florals and finally, that wonderful musky, incense and patchouli. This is very pretty, sweet, floral and when you think it’s just the notes you smell, there it goes twisting and turning into something with more depths created by its interplay with my chemistry.
Just wonderful, I’ve wanted “M” for a long time and on Monday I got myself the 100mL bottle and hide it in my closet, only taking it out to spritz when I am by myself. A very balanced, womanly scent, not too sweet – never too smokey and wholesomely good on me. Thank you Mariah co!

Out of all the perfumes I have tried and bought, I always return to this one. I love the opening sea water note combined with the Moroccan incense climbing in the background of the gardenia and tiare flower. I’ve bought more than one for my beautiful home so I am in love once more. Thanks for creating such a wonderful fragrance.

I repurchased this one, just in a little 30ml and its a recent one, its clear not the dark ambery brown of the one i sold…its nowhere near as potent, and its missing a lot if the amber and incense from the older bottle 🙁 This is a scent that gets better with age; a trait thst isnt common with modern fragrances so the quality is very good.
I still like it a lot, ill probably burn thriugh this little bottle and get one from the sight i got my first one from and hopefully it’ll be a bit older

I’m hooked on this perfume. I’ve tried a few others in Mariah’s line and I thought those were fair. It’s not like they smelled unappealing to me that I ended up giving them away or mixing them with something else. They were usable, I just didn’t have the desire to buy new bottles when the old bottles were empty. This perfume is the exception. I had a smaller bottle of this when it was first released and I loved it then. Couldn’t find it anymore around me when the bottle ran out, it was a perfume that always stuck in the back of my mind when it concerned getting another bottle if I ever saw it again. I started buying fragrances online and this ended up being a bottle I bought. And I already bought another bottle because that bottle was starting to get low!
I love the sweetness of the fragrance. And this perfume really packs a punch when it concerns lasting power! This is a perfume worth spraying on yourself before going to bed and you’ll still smell faint traces of it days later on your sheets/pillow cases. That seems like a worthy trait if you like this perfume and might not be that hot if you’re somebody that downright hates the perfume!
I must admit the bottle itself confuses me. All the bottles I have are a pretty purple color with the purple butterfly on top. But I see a picture on this page that shows a clear strip going down the bottle? What’s up with that?

I ended up selling my bottle of this because times were hard and we needed cash fast, so all the fragrances in my collection that i hardly wear these days wnded up going:( i havent missed any of them EXCEPT this one.
That smoky incense note was really prominent in mine as it was an older ambery coloured bottle.
It reminded me a little of the old chanel no5 drydown, but still a completely different scent.
Im scared if i buy another now that it’ll be a newer bottle with clear liquid, i smelled that one at Priceline and it was all marshmallow and hardly any incense.
I think this one is a diamond in the rough of cheapceleb scents.

    Okay, story time!
So I went to Ross today because it’s the only good perfume shopping in my small town, and I needed a new bottle of Fantasy.. well no dice, I couldn’t find Fantasy but there were a billion bottles of M by Mariah and I’m a big Mariah fan and yet never tried this perfume.. the price was right ($10!) so I thought, eh why not?
Well, this was a slam dunk! I sprayed it on when I got to my car and oh my goodness, what a lovely surprise!! Thick, sweet incense and musk. A syrupy celeb scent but atypical in that it doesn’t just veer off into candyfloss territory–the incense really adds a sense of sensuous mystery and complexity.
I’ve only been wearing it a couple hours so time will tell as far as longevity goes, I have high hopes for this one though. After about 3 hours it’s going strong and that’s generally a good sign for perfumes with me. They either disappear in 30 mins or last all day, no real in-between for my finicky skin.
All in all, this is a fantastic celeb fragrance and a safe blind buy if you love sweet and incense and are craving both of those things in one. I can’t say I have any other perfumes that smell like this, and I have a good collection of both sweet celeb scents and classic orientals.. this is like the perfect marriage between those two genres. Perfect!
As a side note, I’ve been listening to vintage 90s Mariah all afternoon thanks to being so inspired by this fragrance 😉

This smells perfumey. Sweet marshmallow perfumey smell with a hint of incense that also conjures up heat radiating off warm oil. Long lasting but I really expected more incense. It’s a different smell from other sweet celebrities offerings and I like it.

no fruits listed in the notes but this is a sweet, fruity fragrance in the top with a combo of marshmallow to sweeten it but not a gourman and tiare flower with patchouli and amber; as it dries down the florals become more prominent along with a sharp salty note though it is NOT aquatic, the base becomes a bit of a sugary poopy smell on me that passes quickly and goes back to the fruity patchouli top; reminds me of a muskier, more patchouli La Petite Robe Noire for a fraction of the cost

I think this perfume has been reformulated, My mom has used it many times but the scent of the last bottle that I bought her does not smell like the old bottles, the sillage is not the same and the longevity is not the usual. This is bad because it was the main fragrance on my mom until now…
In other hand, I cant deny this perfume is so so so delicious, warming and sexy…

I hate celebrity scents basically as a rule, but there’s always an exception to the rule and this is actually awesome. Back in the day when it was first released, they actually sold it at Nordstrom, but it didn’t smell out of place at all amongst the other designer and niche perfumes. I liked it a lot then and I have ever since. I get mainly big, fluffy, REAL marshmallows and a beautiful incense note that isn’t too smoky, like incense sticks still in the box rather than lit incense. It actually reminds me of these gourmand incense sticks I had once, it’s not sugary sweet or anything like most current gourmands, it’s actually a refined and photorealistic foody marshmallow mixed with beautiful oriental notes, not what you’d expect if you just judged it by the designer and bottle (I actually love the purple bottle, just not really the plastic butterfly cap. The bottle is a beautiful ultraviolet shade of purple and is made of weighty glass, feels great to hold and resembles a certain Alexander McQueen bottle but is even nicer). The supporting notes really add a lot to this too, mainly tiare + a meaty, almost mushroomy gardenia and oceanic notes. The tiare is rich, creamy, quality, natural smelling-it adds a beautiful tropical vibe, and the marine notes keep it fresh. The whole thing makes me imagine eating marshmallows over a fire in Bali, surrounded by incense, Polynesian blossoms and the seashore. While this is suitable for teenagers, this is also a gourmand that’s perfectly adult. It’s more of a casual scent as an adult, whereas in high school I wore this for formal occasions, but it’s suitable for all ages and smells more expensive than it is. Anyone who likes marshmallow notes but not cloyingly sweet perfumes should try this, or any gourmand lover for that matter. Even if, like me, you dislike Mariah’s other perfumes and flankers, the OG M is totally different. Before gourmands were really trendy there were a handful of gems, usually at lower pricepoints too, and this is one of them.

I have an original bottle almost full. I wore it a few times 10 years ago. Tried to give it to my niece who didn’t want it, tried to give it to my tween daughter who never touched it, and so back to my collection it went. Untouched for years, today I picked it up and took a few deep sniffs. I can’t wait to wear it. I hope the weather out my way stays cool because this weekend M is going to be in full effect. It smells so wonderful now, not at all what I remembered when I first received it as a gift 10 years ago. I read this was reformulated so happy to have this original gem. Deep incense and amber sweet.

I had been eyeing this one for quite some time. The whole composition seemed very attractive to me, except for the marshmellows. Generally speaking, I’m not a fan of gourmands/candy notes, they’re simply just too sweet imo. However, when I saw that this one was discontinued/reformulated, I decided to search for a cheap bottle of M. Luckily, I was able to find a ‘vintage’ formulation 30 ml of this one for quite cheap, so I bought it.
It opens up intensely sweet. The marshmellows arrive in full force and have a powdery aspect, but luckily, these are balanced by the oceanic note (thank god). The oceanic note adds a crisp, fresh feeling – it prevents the marshmellows from turning into a sweet mess. It’s a bit too saccharine for me at this point. Luckily I don’t have to wait long before I can smell the gardenia and tiare. These aren’t of the indolic kind; they’re rather creamy and slightly floral, not sharp at all. They give the marshmellow note a creamy aspect, which is quite lovely. Within 20-30 minutes, the marhsmellows seem to diminish in strength and the tropical flowers gain momentum. I like it a lot better now.
After about 45 minutes I can smell the incense creeping in, along with the amber and patchouli. The basenotes temper the sweetness and give it a slightly spicy, resinous touch. The amber and patchouli work wonderfully together; patchouli adding that ‘dark’, cool aspect and the amber gives a cuddly, powdery but grounding sweetness. The fragrance remains quite sweet, however. You are left with a very nice gardenia/tiare: tropical, creamy, sweet but tempered by whispers of airy incense and the amber/patchouli.
M is a very nice creation, especially for a celebrity fragrance. The opening is too much for me, but I’m quite fond of the drydown actually. I’m very glad I was able to find the original formulation and now I also want to test the current formulation and the pure perfume (I don’t think I will ever find the latter though….). Sillage seems average on my skin, which is completely fine by me; can’t comment on the longevity. Recommended to test if you like (sweet) linear florientals.

This is the maybe best of Mariah’s fragrances in my opinion but I agree it has been reformulated. I regrettably sold the bottle I bought when this first came out and recently bought it again. It is quite different from how I remember it. The original was a very sweet and intense marshmallow scent with even perhaps a licorice element (but it worked well). The current release is a lot softer and when sprayed I was hit with a blast of alcohol that took a long time to fade. I think it’s spicier now than before as well as lighter on the sweetness. If you can get the original I would grab that. I like it though even with the reformulation.

I was so prepared to be disappointed and did not have much expectation prior to trying this.
But man, M by Mariah Carey is good. It certainly surpasses my expectation.
Yes, it is sweet, but the quality is there. The fact that the original clear juice turns into ambery brown is a sign that parts of it use natural oils – I think it is the patchouli. There are many vintages in which its color darkens over time – but when they are kept well, they age nice and beautifully, only adding more depths.
The opening of M is a burst of sweetness, like the caramel icing on a cupcake. After 1-2 minutes, the icing disappears and here comes the sweet and creamy, thick and bouncy layer of the cake. The incense kicks in and this is the peak of its sweetness. After some 30 minutes or so, you are left with beautiful tiara flower base.
It is quite an amazing development, considering it is a celebrity fragrance and its low price. It really could have been a niche perfume.
2-4 sprays are good enough for 8-10 hours. The projection is moderate-strong and it is very, very, long lasting.

Today’s fragrance is M by Mariah Carey.
Unlike its creator, it is subtle, sensual, and highly feminine.
Not at all screechy and obnoxious.
It is cheap, though, so there’s a similarity for you..

I mentioned in my reveiw that my bottle came as that dark amber colour; well thismorning in priceline i saw they had a bottle of M as a tester, i wouldnt have thought anything of it since i alrrady own it. But i noticed it had completely clear liquid inside so i gave it a spray on my hhand. Its the same as mine only slightly weaker, with more marshmallow and flowers and less insence. I find the projection with the one i have is better too.

I bought the original M by Mariah Carey back in 2008, so I know for a fact this was reformulated. The original was a lot more creamier and the marshmallow was more prominent. The sea accord was more acidic. The new formula still smells wonderful, though. It kind of reminds me of Fantasy which isn’t a bad thing. It’s very sweet and I always get compliments on this. However, if you’re buying M hoping for the original and a walk down memory lane, this will disappoint you.

  28. :

All I get out of this is incense(not good incense at that) and gardenia. I received this as a gift and I detest this scent. This smells cloying and a lot like the inside of a mother’s purse. I just can’t….. I cannot stand this on me. I cannot stand this when I test on a tissue. I think the tiare flower is just as bad as the gardenia and patchouli has been grossly abused. This one is going in the trash.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

Well I must have “lucked out” and gotten a “vintage” version of this, as some reviewers seem to think this has been reformulated…This is heavy on the incense and the patchouli for me. Then the amber, then the sweet/marshmallow, then the white floral..barely. The water note I guess is there, balancing things out, but I do not detect a water note.
Not sure how I feel about this one. Incense can hit my nose in a bad way if too heavy, and at times the incense is too heavy here for me. But then other times the marshmallow is loud and proud. I’m thinking the two “main” notes, the marshmallow and the incense, come off to me/my nose as weird. I can see maybe where they were going with this, a toasted marshmallow scent, perhaps..? Or perhaps trying to copy the popular Bath and Body Works Marshmallow Fireside candle..? But to me, the two main notes here (the incense and the marshmallow) just don’t jive well for me; they seem to be competing, rather than playing nicely together. But the times that the incense peeks through (which is quite often for me) is nearly suffocating for me. Same for the marshmallow. Gosh I shudder to think what others must smell when I have this on. But at any rate, this one is a pass for me.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

This is not the same “M” as before. It definitely has been reformulated or watered down. Before this was a creamy, smokey incense, sweet marshmallow with patchouli. Now I basically just smell the gardenia and very little marshmallow. It doesn’t last or project as before. I still enjoy it, but I wish they would stop changing the recipes on fragrances(as if we couldn’t tell.)

Just have to add another note here abput the longevity on this bad boy; i put it on my neck ( and so probably a bolit on my shirt) last night after a shower at about 5.30-6pm.All night and still This morning im getting big wafts of sweet marshmallow everytime i move. The incense amber ness is pretty much gone but i bought it purely because i love the marshmallow anyway. This was so worth the 35 dollars i payed for it man, one of the cheapest i own yet lasts the longest

Columbo Fan, you are right, i thought of chanel no5 also. Only with a sweeter softer note to it; would be the marshmallw im guessing.
Ive already reviewed this but everytime i use it i get a different result, the first time it was marshmallow and incense, then the next day it was nust full blast patchouli and amber with nothing else. Then today i used it and got everything lol; marshmallow, incense, and a crisp beach breeze note. Im not in any way a fan of mariah carey and i know im a bit late in the game with her perfume range bit if i had have known how different to every other ceb scent this one was ide have git it a lot sooner

I just bought a bottle of this and being 2017, by now its that dark amber colour people are talking about. Its not one to rave about but it is a nice scent; i did find i had to give it an hour to feel its full potential. On first spray it was sweet floral with a bit of marshmallw, then after 20 mins or so it was pure incense, very warm amber and patchouli, then after an hour or so i could get more marshmallow with the incense so it softened it a bit. Its quite bold and oy one spray is neede but its still a pretty ”safe’ fragrance; nothing thats gonna blow people over. I do think that for a celeb perfume though its pretty unique, its not your usu al sweet gourmand sugar scent. And its a more mature celeb scent; more suited to a woman in her late 20s to 30s, not really one for an 18 year old girl. Im only really dwarn to celeb fragrances when they are different and have something more to offer than just sickly sweet sugar water and this ticked the box. Its not really my favoroute out of everything ive got but its a pleasant smell. One i think ill wear on cold days rather than on a night out.

I know that this is incense and marshmallows but it smells licorishy to me, with a pleasant “modern vintage” vibe to it. Modern vintage as in how Britney Spears Circus Fantasy makes me think of the 1930s or 40s but it does not actually smell like fragrances from that time would. This is kinda the same thing for me, I must be talking crazy.
Anyways, this is a nice candy fragrance and it’s pretty cheap to experience.

NoirEternal, I have noticed this trick you have mentioned quite recently in my bottle of M. When I first bought M it was very, very strong. I got very intense pachouli and marshmallow. My bottle weirdly also has the sea-breeze note very strong in it too. I’ve owned my bottle for a year and a half now and its more subtle. The marshmallow note is far more prominent whereas the pachouli to me was more intense when I first purchased. The liquid in my bottle of M however has always been yellow…I am pretty sure it has always been as this is my second bottle. Thank you for the tip, very helpful :))

To anyone who owns a bottle of this fragrance should keep this in stock
This fragrance does a little trick!!!
Over time of you owning this bottle the liquid will change from clear to a light brownish color this is something not to be afraid of rather embrace it
As the color changes so does the scent ….. When I first bought M it was incense, patchouli & marshmallows
Over time as the color darkened the gardenias in the fragrance became more present / richer allowing the fragrance to become more floral even the sweetness is more from the flowers rather the marshmallow notes at this point
My bottle is two years old
    Longevity Now: 8h – 12h
    Sillage: strong
    Time / occasion: evening wear
The longer you have this bottle the richer it becomes over time

  41. :

M is a very incense heavy fragrance with clean, white florals and a sweetness far off in the background trying its hardest to keep up with the incense and white florals. There’s almost a boozy, mentholated accord in M that truly surprises me. It’s overall very soft and creamy. I love to wear this shortly before bed. It’s slightly intoxicating and very warm.
I get no marshmallows (which I would have loved). My juice has changed colors from clear to that deep caramel brown.
This isn’t your typical fruity-floral-candy-bomb of modern celebrity fragrances. M is a very adult smelling celebrity fragrance…. a scent that is comfortably between late 20s and older.
A very nice thumbs up in my book. 🙂

It’s a sexy perfume, sweet and smoky – just what I expected. The gardenia and patch are very prominent on me. It’s reminds me of Chopard’s Wish, but more balsamic and floral. I like the fact that two different gardenia flowers are incorporated here. Unfortunately I don’t get the sea note, but the rest is there. Definitely not a girly stuff, it smells mature and seducting. Silage and longevity are pretty good too.

M is a sweet scent, sweet but not too sweet. It is comforting and warm. It has soft sillage on me, and longevity average, around 2-3 hours.
Its got that sweet almond milk scent, its very feminine…

when i first tried this i was like whatever,,,,but after agreeing to put this up for swap i decided to just take a whiff for one last time…and its pretty nice, i like this vibe. it is not something i would reach for everyday but maybe on a lazy laid back weekend i would wear this…its a pleasant relaxing scent its not something i would want to wear out in public tho..its very powdery, slightly Smokey and a lovely Marshmallow trail.

The old formulation of this has more marshmellow and sea notes and it smells amazing to me. The new one is just patchouli and sweetness to me I don’t get any marshmellow anymore 🙁 but I don’t totally hate the new one. I’ll still wear it sometimes.

I don’t smell marshmellows. It smells sweet but not a marshmellow kind of sweet. The drydown is mature with a lot of white florals.

This fragrance reminds me so much of Queen of Hearts by Queen latifah. The incense, amber and patchouli kind of over powers the whole fragrance which does not smell bad at all but I already own queen of Hearts and it has the same opening sort of but with fruit notes and you can actually smell the floral notes. Plus it has an amazing dry down. But all I get from this fragrance is Incense, Patchouli and amber. No floral notes or marshmallow. If you own QOH then you already have an idea of what this will smell like. I’ll probably give it away. I don’t like to own fragrances that smell too similar.

Marshmallows and incense. I had to try this, obviously. It’s mostly a creamy white floral to my nose, not overly sweet, I get a lot of tiare and gardenia. I don’t sense a lot of the marshmallow note, but if I really stick my nose in there and sniff, I see where it’s coming from. Patchouli adds depth and there is indeed something marine going on in it as well. Certainly interesting, particularly for a celebrity offering (if I am allowed to be a bit prejudiced). I’m not sure if it will stick around in my wardrobe but definitely worth a smell, particularly for the price.

After reading the reviews I was expecting something a little more exotic and smokey. I do enjoy the smell and I like wearing it but it smells more powdery, musky and a little floral and sweet. I guess that must be the marshmallow scent. It lasts a long time and is quite strong yet not overpowering. A more mature scent but still has a sweet youthfulness to it. I really like it 🙂

Definitely one of my favourite Mariah Carey scents. As soon as you spray it you can smell the Marshmallow accords. After about 5-10 minutes, You can slightly smell the sea notes. For the first few hours you can only smell the top notes. Within wearing the fragrance for 2 and a half – 2 hours, the top notes start to be replaced by the middle notes. However, you can slightly still smell the Marshmallow. The Gardenia is a pretty strong smell and out beats the Tiare flower. After about 3 – 4 hours the base notes aren’t that strong but the Patchouli and Amber can be smelt…

I was really hoping for marshmallow and incense.
Sadly, not what I got. Just bought a bottle (2016) so this is likely the reformulated version. I get floral with a background of light incense smoke and perhaps some gentle patch that comes across as vaguely musky. That’s it. It is sweet so I suppose we could call that the marshmallows but there isn’t the powdery confectionary smell of marshmallow candy, just flowers and light incense. Perfectly pretty and very inoffensive. For $11 I can’t be disappointed.

Sweet but with a character, my first impression is lou-lou, not at all the same, just a same feeling I’m
getting wearing it, it has been done before, many similar ones out there, but it is lovely, such a shame it lasts only about two hours on me 🙁

All I get from this is patchouli + sugar. So it’s like a minimalist version of Angel. Or Flowerbomb without the flowers. It cost me 10 bucks to find out that the common factor in many perfumes that don’t appeal to me is strong patchouli + lots of sugar and I’m ok with that. There’s a noticeable salt note too but when my genetics dictate that patchouli smells like sweaty pits to me then adding salt doesn’t help that at all haha. Wish I wasn’t hypersensitive to patchouli so I could get the toasted marshmallow effect other people perceive.
Check out the Donald Trump cameo in the commercial. Hawking his ties lmao.

Gave it to my sis cause I thought it was too strong but now I regret doing that cause in retrospect it is really a unique delicious fun fragrance. It reminds one of roasting marshmallows on a beach. The only off-putting aspect is the intense sweetness.

EdP, first impression: They only had 100ml bottles for a good price so I blind bought a big bottle and thought it wouldn’t be worth it but it was..!
This is the 5th Mariah Carey scent that I’ve tried and it’s definately among my top favourites – both out of her fragrances (the ones I’ve tried) but also out of all the other fragrances from other brands that I’ve tried.
I’ve got a perfume called something with “Noir” which
