Blind bought after searching by notes for “cola,” if there’s such a thing as guilty pleasure fragrances this is the one. Definitely cola and citrus, the ginger isn’t as strong as I’d expect and I can’t tell if I’m just imagining the floral notes just because it says they’re there. It starts off with some spice but goes away after 10-30 minutes and leaves a great sweet smell that I’m currently finding perfect for spring, especially if you aren’t into floral forward fragrances.
It’s a super fun one for spring/summer, preferably morning/midday but would fit well if you go out drinking at night too. I think I’m probably gonna order some more right away since it only comes in 1.7oz bottles.

I agree with fsulka, this is a great bargain and a very nice, sweet scent but one that reduces to a skin scent within an hour. The top notes are all cola goodness, with sweet gingery-citrus notes that persist through to the delicate, powdery floral dry-down.
This requires hot weather for any slight projection beyond that point.
This will be one of my small collection of “mood-boosters” I’ll keep for primarily home/casual application – and we all need scents like that in the wardrobe anyway.

This is available for sale in a tester bottle on beautyspin.com for $10 plus shipping.
Update: The fragrance arrived. It absolutely smells like cola and it is a great smell. Unfortunately it is pretty much a skin scent in minutes. I was actually amazed at how quickly the sillage disappeared. This is a fun fragrance though and I’ll have to try it out in warmer weather to see if that kicks it up a bit. All and all I am glad that I added it to my collection.

I bought this fragrance from the website StrawberryNet (thanks Jent). I am currently looking for a fresh and attractive daytime scent and this came close to being it (also tried Nautica Voyage, Bleu De Chanel, Paul Smith Extreme Sport and Givenchy Play). Also I specifically wanted a fragrance which smells like Coca-Cola.
The aim of this fragrance is to energise/invigorate the wearer, specifically first thing in the morning. The subtitle of this fragrance, as stated on the box is ‘Rough Morning’. The pick-me-up property of this fragrance is further advertised by the description written on the box, as well as the fully-charged battery logo. The box is beautifully designed with a glittery 3D textured pattern effect, and bright green text against a black background. It looks great when stood next to the box of CK One Shock. I originally believed this to be a Japanese fragrance based on the brand name Samourai and the ‘Engrish’ product description. However, the box clearly states ‘Made in France’ in two places. The bottle itself is nicely compact, modern in appearance, and it has a decent atomiser.
Onto the scent itself… I like it. Depending on the day I predominantly get a lemon or lime note, with a background of Coca-Cola. I do not detect the various other notes which are supposedly present, but then again I am far from an expert when it comes to analysis of fragrances. The scent is linear, which is what I would want from a fresh scent (the idea is to stay fresh). It is a scent I would certainly wear on morning shifts at work or morning gym sessions after waking up. However, the reason I cannot do so is this fragrance suffers from very poor projection and longevity. The product becomes a skin scent within an hour of application before vanishing completely. I should mention that the majority of fragrances I have tried project poorly on my skin, but this one seems to be especially weak. You may still want to try it for yourself, as you may achieve a better performance. The fragrance costs less than many others so you can afford to re-apply it more often. The search for my fresh daytime scent is on-going, but this is my favourite so far because I love the unique note of Coca-Cola.
Although advertised as one of the male fragrances from Samourai I see no reason why females cannot enjoy wearing it too. It is advertised as being suitable for warmer seasons which I would agree with due to the light, fresh scent. It is great for daytime use but when the evening comes you may want to switch to something with more depth. I personally like to transition to CK One Shock due to its energy drink/cherry cola quality.
Taking everything into account I am pleased to have this fun, quirky and well-presented fragrance in my collection. I will still endeavour to wear it from time to time for my personal enjoyment even if it does not reach others as much as I would like. I also hope to compare it to other cola fragrances such as Cola by Outremer.
