Description

Orange Exult reminds of tangy color of orange which was very trendy in the summer of 2001. Exult is vivacious, temperamental, with a certain sense of humor, just like Naomi Campbell, who graciously rules the runways. The unusual bottle- desings suggests fun, siestas and carefree mood. It opens with a lively pink pepper and mandarine duet. The heart note is dominated by the floral choir made of magnolia, freesia and jasmine smoothed by a dewy peach. The base is composed of sandalwood, musk, Tonka, vanilla, vetiver and benzoin. It was created by Ursula Wandel in 2001.

Got a tiny bottle as a gift years ago, probably because of my well known love for Naomi Campbell’ s Naomi Campbell. Wore it till the end and that’s the whole story to be honest. Liked it but don’t miss it much. Although It obviously made a mark in my mind as I can still remember single notes from it over the years.

Gorgeous bright cheerful, but also sensual and deep, oriental perfume. Lovely. Beautiful colour! So true to the opening, which is a very juicy and rich orange/peach and pink pepper. Very yum. Then the flowers, followed by the divine vetiver, tonka, vanilla, musk, sandalwood, benzoin base, which is just wonderful. I love this perfume. It is soft and creamy and very oriental – romantic and alluring, sensual and exotic. Very vivacious! Is very strong, and long lasting, which I love. I find it quite intoxicating!
    Fantastic bottle!!!

As for the scent, this is like an oriental orange. At times, the sweet peach comes through and I like it, other times the pink pepper and mandarin dominate and it’s almost too much for me. Pink pepper can be hit or miss for me, in the right dose it adds a touch of dry smooth mystery, in higher doses, and especially when combined with citrus, it can give off a slightly harsh oriental vibe that can annoy me. This borders on that line. I can see the slight resemblance to Chanel allure EDP, but that has other notes, mainly vanilla, in a strong enough dose to temper the pepperiness so it never annoys me. This is good but I won’t be killing myself to hunt a bottle.

Why is everyone complaining that this is hard to get/non-existant? There’s heaps of bottles on eBay, and whilst it’s not dirt-cheap, it’s not completely unaffordable either. Particularly if you love it, definitely within reach.

This was my go to perfume during my early teens, had it as a birthday gift, fell in love with it and used it to the last drop.
I did recommended it to a friend of mine but sadly we couldn’t find it anywhere.

Wow – very nice beginning – orange and peach with sweet vanilla and tonka bean.
Creamy but at the same time fresh and delightfull.
After drydown it is more woodsy and musky – a cuddly scent to hop into bed with a cold winternight.
As for the beginning it is a stroll on the beachpromenad a summerevening.

This was my first real fragrance, I was 12 at the time, it was my mother’s birthday and my dad asked to me go with him to help look for a present for her, after 5 hours of search I was rewarded for my patience, dad said I could choose any fragrance I wanted and I choose Exult. I still own the bottle with a couple of drops left in it and through all this years the scent has stayed the same woody, balmy & rich. Perfect balanced sweet notes, it lacks the usual tackiness celebrity fragrances have, you know most of them smell like fruit punch infused with cotton candy? Too bad it was discontinued and so far I was not able to find a dupe for it.

    Gorgeous! Fresh and clean!
The most prominent notes are pink pepper, mandarin, peach and subtle florals.
It is very well composed, well balanced without the notes screaming and being overpowering.
I agree it is not a typical floral fruity, I would class it more floral – for some reason it reminds me Lancome Miracle, it is that ”fresh linen” feeling!
Universal, can be worn at any ocassion, whether romantic or formal.
It will not make your work colleagues open the windows but it is not to say it is sheer – it has just the right sillage.
It is such a shame it is so rare and should you finally find a bottle, it will certainly be quite expensive!
Get it while you can 🙂
Highly recommended for fresh floral lovers!

This is a very strange perfume….But that’s why I like it! Don’t let the orange color fool you, this is not a “warm weather” type of fragrance. I wore it a few times this past Summer- and let me tell you it was way too strong in the heat.
I wouldn’t call this “fruity” at all. Exult is more of a floral/oriental type of perfume. I can smell a little bit of the peach note, and definately the pink pepper, but that’s about all.
Exult smells like a mixture of the original Naomi Campbell with a Coty perfume I used to wear back in 2001 called “American Original”. Funny, this one came out the same year….I wonder, which one was copying which?
I don’t know why but when I put this on, EXULT makes me feel like this would be something a robot would wear (haha). Maybe because it’s a tiny bit synthetic, hard to explain. Just smells sort of futuristic to me. Oh, and I just wanted to add that the bottle is adorable.

A cheerful, fruity, really “orange-coloured” fragrance. I had it and loved it.The bottle like a cartoon figure…

In my opinion, this is very similar to Allure-Chanel.
