Finest cloud of oud, jasmine, geranium und rose on a musky-tonka-vanilla base.
„A midsummer night‘s dream“ A lovely Jasmine in full bloom all around me… The drydown is musc and sandal wood
Edit: the reviews seem so different, I take that this oil is depending a lot on the skin chemistry.

This unusual to say the least. In your face blast of citrusy juice. Took 3 or 4 try’s before I started to actually like it. Suits warmer weather where it can waft and open up the layers of its composition. Not for everyone but for the person with the right skin chemistry it offers something different from the rest.

    based on a sample,
i got a mixture from all kind of smells in my nose, it starts off citrus, after that it becomes a dark deep, not pleasant for my nose scent, than slowly i smell lily of the valley, geranium, flowers, it stay for a long time, than suddenly i smell the sandalwood, and slowly a vanilla smell come,
it is very soft on the skin, i have to put my nose close to it, to capture the fragrance, i smell some wife if i wave my arm, on my skin it is a mix of all kind of notes, flowery, oriental, soft, fresh and also warm, powdery and fresh, woody it change all the time, like all the notes come and goes, it stay for a long time on the skin, also a skin sent,
i will keep the sample as a little treasure, i like it

In the little sample bottle this smells amazing and I couldn’t wait to try it out. The sample vial smelled rich, exotic, deep, softly spiced with a rich floral, I even thought it smelled a little like Black Afgano in the bottle.
When initially dabbed onto the skin I got a lovely multilayered citrus note, with hints of musk, geranium and something light, salty – possibly the ambergris. I was suprised at how bright and citrus cologne type smell it was, as from the bottle I was expecting something much richer and deeper. I was not overly impressed by the scent at this stage, possibly because it was so different from my expectations, maybe because I do like bright cologne type smells but prefer them to be clean and refreshing whereas the salty grey note in this prevented it from feeling luminous or airy.
After about 45 minutes the citrus note begins to dissipate and this is where my real disappointment comes. All I am left with is a really strong musk, it isn’t a soft, sensual musk, and it isn’t a dirty sexy animalic musk, instead it just smells more like the musky smell of not having washed very recently and trying to mask it with a cheap white musk spray. The ambergris note lingers, making this feel gravelly to my nose. I imagine that people who love ambergris and white musks, and who’s skin chemistry matches will find this a lovely scent – it has good tenacity lasting several hours, and despite being dabbed on had good projection too. But this is not a scent for me and i find it slightly unsettling though I cannot figure out why.
