Description

SUBLIME VANILLE is the first fragrance in the Creed Royal Exclusives line. The fragrance is presented in an ornately carved, hand-blown Pochet glass bottle etched with the Creed family crest and topped with a cut-glass stopper.

Sublime Vanille celebrates one of perfumery’s most enduring and beloved ingredients—vanilla.

The fragrance is hand-made with vanilla-rich climbing orchids of Tahiti and heady Bourbon vanilla of South America. Tonka bean, bergamot orange, Calabrian lemon and rare musk in the hands of Olivier CREED become a fragrance as richly reassuring as family tradition itself.

Sublime Vanille was launched in 2009. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Creed Sixth Generation.

Sublime!! Blended to perfection and in summer it shines. A bit weak and feminine for a guy to wear but who cares. This is beautiful. I cant stop sniffing my wrist. Very expensive yes but its almost worth the money. Almost. 9/10

I lucked out and bought a partial bottle for a ridiculously low price. I adore this light lemony vanilla perfume. It lasts on my skin, and just when I think it’s gone the scent reappears. Unlike any other vanilla scent I’ve tried, sadly. Sparkles in the summertime, which is when I used up my bottle last year! The price is insane, which is why I’ll never purchase a full bottle. One of my favorite scents, but I’ll stick with samples or cross my fingers to luck out on another partial.
Edit add: I tried out Alexandria Fragrances Sublime clone scent called Splendid Vanille. It opens louder, and doesn’t linger as long as Sublime… but does smell surprisingly close enough to please those like me who can’t or won’t pay the retail price for Sublime.

I’m usually very picky when it comes to vanilla fragrances. They can be too sweet, too headache-y, too gourmand, too intense and so on.
This one is just perfect if you actually like vanilla but tend to stay away from everything that is overblown, too sweet or too intense.
The blend is just perfect. It’s almost too easy, too simple, but it works perfectly.
The vanilla and lemon create a fresh and not too sweet scent that is so feminine, so elegant.. you can’t help but like it.
It is cozy but doesn’t clog your nostrils with sugar, it’s fresh but doesn’t sting your nose with synthetic toilet cleanser smell.
It makes you feel like a queen without being too “in your face”. Sillage is on the moderate side.
Even if I don’t wear or don’t want to wear this every day, it is great to have in my collection.

It’s a very soft, non-sweet vanilla extract mixed with a huge lemon drop candy. It’s not sugary sweet, just a little sweet. I also get some smokiness in the mix. I’m reminded of the dry down in Shalimar Cologne (the new one) a little but much lighter. It’s so extremely light wearing that I have to press my nose to my wrist to get a hint of it. Very airy, clean and fresh. Borders on lemon floor polish a little for me. The floor polish vibe disappears though once it has dried down. It becomes very comforting but much too light to warrant those Creed prices I think.

Hmm maybe I got a bad sample. Smells 100% like play dough on my skin. I have a toddler. I am all tooooo familiar with Eau de play dough lol… not for me especially at this price point.

A fresh vanilla. Definitely an interesting take on vanilla that is usually gourmandish, sweet, heavy or floral. I quite like this light lemon vanilla.
The scent is luxurious, smooth, and expertly blended, the quality that is known from Creed.
My friend owns this and says it works magically in warmer summer months.
I only have a sample and plan to save it for the summer months to test this scent in the heat, before purchasing a full bottle.

For those who like Shalimar by Guerlain, this would be a great summertime option. It’s lighter, less complex, more linear, lacks any animalistic or smoky notes, and the lemon notes are more prominent.
However, while Sublime Vanilla does have a beautiful vanilla bean scent, there are plenty of better or equally wonderful vanilla fragrances out there for a fraction of the price. Shalimar Eau de Cologne or Eau de Toilette are wonderful, lighter vanilla scents for instance.

Smelled this for the first time today. Not for me, but I can’t imagine anything sexier on a woman.

I’m amazed that Creed can get away with their prices, let alone the hype. I’ve yet to find a modern Creed creation with the longevity or sillage to match their price. Imperatrice Eugenie being the exception, but it’s not a modern fragrance. It could be my skin chemistry, but this has the worst sillage. Also I can barely detect the vanilla, I love vanilla but it’s drowning in citrus. This should be called Sublime Lemon! I would not recommend a blind buy on this one. This is distinctly ‘Meh’ for me, there are many cheaper and better blended creations out there.

i am totally in love with this sensual, sexy, warm scent with top quality natural orchid Vanilla! It is not this nauseous artificial vanilla, but increadible natural one…
Longevity is awsome! Getting a lot of compliments bei wearing it…

This is my second review of this perfume. When I tried it at a store I was amazed by it. It smelled great and it lasted for a long time. I bought it from the Creed website. The perfume that came smells great but it does not last at all and there is zero projection. I am dissapointed. I can not believe the difference.

This smells great….for 1 hour and than its gone. Bergamote comes trough in the beginning followed by vanilla. Very nice vanilla. Projection is non existent. Performance is terrible. Top 3 weakest fragrance i have ever tested.

  13. :

    4 out of 5

I like that this perfume is natural. The smell is sensational. I am also amazed by longevity. I sampled it at a store and could smell it the next day after several showers. I ended it up buying it. Can’t wait to receive it in mail.

This frag is sheer deliciousness. Very summery and very elegant, gourmand but powdery, fresh but noble. Can be worn with a formal attire or relaxed summer slacks and crisp shirt as well. Perfect union of tonka and vanilla beans.
    Scent: 9/10
    Longevity: 7/10
    Sillage: 7/10
    Cost ratio: 6/10
    Overall: 7.24/10
This vanilla is indeed sublime. Highly recommended for vanilla lovers.

Would be a great vanilla if it sold at the same price as a Shalimar flanker. But is costs a fortune and doesn’t get close to bettering Guerlain’s superb effort with Spirituese Double Vanille, which swaps the citrus opening for a boozy opening and settles on a more mature take on vanilla. Head over to the Guerlain counter and buy the only vanilla fragrance you’ll ever need.

  16. :

A nice sweet, light citrus-vanilla, except it doesn’t last long. 2 hours at most. I’m glad I only have a decant, as it’s really not worth the money for a FB. Try one of the “smell-alikes” instead. I like it, but the longevity is a deal-breaker.

Aww this is lovely. A soft blend of vanilla and lemon. Very innocent and fresh smell. It reminds me a bit of the Ranita Kids perfume which is marketed as a fragrance for little ones. I simply cannot imagine anyone disliking this. It’s so nice. When I smell this, I get images in my mind of freshly washed luxury bed sheets and cute baby girl clothes. This is a great scent for hot weather – it will immediately freshen and energise you. If I could, I would like to pour the entire bottle over myself on a hot sunny day. Crazy as that sounds, I am just explaining how this lovely scent makes me feel. If you like it, treat yourself to a bottle. I also adore the packaging..such an elegant and beautiful bottle!

The more I wear it, the more I love it!
When I first got this beauty, I thought she was average and I couldn’t smell her much at all to be honest, but now I’m half way through a 10ml decant, Its a smell I adore and it long lasting on me.
For me its a massive love and Id love very much to own a big bottle one day.
    A BIG LOVE FOR ME!!!!

Such a pretty citrus top, too bad the moment is so fleeting. Creed should be ashamed at this price point.

  20. :

    5 out of 5

Smells like vanilla extract and sugar (syrup). Performs amazingly well for a light fragrance; lasts all day for me. I find it too feminine for me to wear, but wouldn’t mind smelling it on my wife. Now on to the real elephant in the room… $700 for a bottle of this stuff is absolute insanity. The fact that people seem willing to pay that tells me that rich people are no smarter than the rest of us, they just have more money.

  21. :

I don’t get Shalimar, or Obsession, & I have never smelled the other above. I get the sexiest Skin Scent Vanilla with a tiny hint of Lime, not Lemon in it. I think the Vanilla is so creamy it leads people to think that citrus is Lemon, but it is definately a sweet hint of Lime & it is AMAZING! I love this Perfume. Until I found this one Virgin Island Water was my favorite. They are also good mixed. Just when you think you can’t smell it, someone will ask you what you are wearing. I want to sit in a bath of this & soak. I wish there was a matching lotion. I have never heard of one. If you wanted a really good lotion to layer, Pacifica Island Vanilla is awesome. So is the perfume, but this Creed is in a world of it’s own to me. I want a gallon a year, I would never get tired of it.

  22. :

    5 out of 5

The name is fitting…it’s absolutely a sublime vanilla! Sweet, almost sugary lemon is present from the start, along with vanilla, but it complements rather than overshadows. The vanilla isn’t woody, or boozy, or dusty, or plasticky…just a perfect true soft vanilla note. At certain points early on, I kept thinking I was also smelling a little heliotrope, but it must be the tonka-vanilla-orchid combination. The musk is light and clean. I detected no lime. It stayed fairly linear on me, but delightful and comforting all the way. Totally a skin scent, I expected longevity to be poor as well, but no…longevity was good for me, and I can still smell it on my clothing 12 hours later. I also kept getting wafts of it every time I moved, and when my clothing shifted a little, so I could still enjoy it even though it didn’t seem to leave a trail. I was gifted a large sample of this by a dear and very generous friend, but if I had a bottle, I would spray myself with reckless hedonistic abandon, regardless of the insane price. It’s just THAT good for me.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

Reminds me of cough syrup or some other medicine or vitamins or something i can’t exactly remember from when i was a kid. very light and a somewhat floral. not much projection or longevity on my skin and cant quite smell it unless i put my nose to it. drydown becomes better and creamy but still very faint on my skin.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

That’s an interesting blend of vanilla and citrus! I expected this perfume to be very sweet, but thanks to citrus notes the sweetness is handled well bringing the best of vanilla out.
Unfortunately, doesn’t stay on my skin for long.

  25. :

    Thumbs up for the flavour.
This opens like the highest quality Vanilla Italian Gelato scented with superior Lemon.
Drys down gently, to a beautiful non fatty, cream musk and powder.
Later on whispers of unlit pipe tobacco.
Thumbs down for the dinars asked.
Reminds me… really need to get some of Mario’s
best Ice together with some really nice pipe
    tobacco for the Cave.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

Really gorgeous, natural, vanilla. But it dries down to an old fashioned orange cream popsicle. Same citrus notes used in Bois De Cedrat. Not for me.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

I just received my second small decant of this. At first I didn’t understand what the fuss was – it was so light and airy, and didn’t hang around for long at all.
But by the time I got to the end of my first decant, I had well and truly fallen in love. Sublime Vanille is a subtle, exquisite and quiet beauty. Her scent is creamy and pure; the vanilla is divine, and her body fills out with a squeeze of lemon and lime.
Unfortunately, it has very poor longevity on skin (say one hour). So having a small decant in your bag to re-apply works well. Spray on your skin for that rich creamy dry down, but also spray on your clothes – longevity seems to be better on material.

  28. :

    3 out of 5

It’s a light natural smelling vanilla fragrance. There’s a little citrus but it’s mostly just vanilla. Smooth, not cloying or super-sweet at all. Very simplistic ; lazy design in my opinion. It’s versatile, unisex, good for any season, but it has weak projection.
It’s pleasant, but $700 a bottle? No chance in hell!

  29. :

    5 out of 5

Aptly named, Creed’s Sublime Vanille is a subtle vanilla scent that is dominated by the eponymous note but has contributions from tonka, musk, and lemon.
I rarely think of vanilla fragrances as having warm-weather applicability, but this is certainly an exception, striking me immediately as being able to be worn year-round. It leans casual but is sophisticated enough to be worn out at night, as well, though I imagine many men would find it too feminine.
I liken it to Dame Perfumery’s Black Flower Mexican Vanilla, though that is characterized by more of a mix with floral notes that Sublime Vanille does not incorporate.
Being on the more exclusive / expensive end of Creed, Sublime Vanille will only offend in its price, so if price were object, this would be a must-buy, but otherwise, I’d simply insist that fans of vanilla try this one out, as it should not disappoint.

OK so I officially am making a rule now that I will never EVER go out of my way to buy a creed fragrance ever again.
I know people hate batch variation stuff but BOTH the biggest variations I have smelled in their fragrances have somehow just by luck also been with their most expensive stuff. Like Jardin d’Amalfi and Sublime vanille.
So for one variation(and the one I was hoping I was getting)is one ive smelled at nemian marcus when ever ive been there, and one that ive also had a sample/decant of.
Pretty simple, citrus, with vanilla. Not a lot going on, but the dry down is almost snuggly and quite enjoyable. Its a very classic sorta vanilla smell that I think we think of when we are kids. Not this vanilla extract, or all this boozy vanilla buisness that you hear thrown around all the time once you get into fragrances. Simple and ya overpriced probably when it comes down to it, but it smells nice.
Now this second variation and what I sadly apparently bought is much different. At the top we have a very spicy basically citrus. Like theres a actual kick to the fragrance that does not exist in the other batchs. There is also waaaaay more tonka bean adding that depending on how you feel that day either a funk/anmalisticness to it, or again a more sweet delicious sorta aspect.
Whatever the case in this the vanilla is waaaay toned down, and the tonka bean is more apparent. The fragrance is still very light like the original which makes it unpleasant almost to me because the only thing tingling your nose is this spicy(almost woody)kick to it, and the tonka bean wiffs. Its not creamy, and theres no snuggle factor to it.
So batch one.. whatever its number was.. lots of citrus, vanilla…
Batch 2.. Lots of bergamot, citrus, tonka bean, musk then vanilla
Absolutely furious. Ive smelled some batch variations here and there of creed frags but most are generally pretty light to the point that I tell myself maybe its placebo effect. But for both Sublime vanille and Jardin d’amalfi even for me, whos nose is nothing special there is a noticable undeniable difference in some of the batchs. Cant believe it. I feel tricked out of my money honestly. What a joke.
For what its worth now that my intial frustrations have died down.. I would just like to say I do not HATE this other batch. It smells fine for what it is, but at the end of the day when you are paying that much money for something id hope I get what I thought I was getting if that makes sense.

Ok so hyper-expensive Creed No2, after Original Cologne.
Since not even Semi-Enthusiasts are really gonna lay a hand on this scent at $300 a 50ml decant, expect review to be not as harsh.
I thought the ‘lemon’ in here was a little on the bergamot side right at first, a little too much – and somehow not too well blended into the mixture(!)
I picked out citrus (more like the generic ‘citrus’ than lemon ) from the vanilla. Not lime, it is clearly a bergamot.
Now, whether this is intended or not, the natural ‘sourness’ and acidity of begamot in scents over standard lemons normally in perfumes gives this Opening a pretty awkward theme.
Think a simpler Le Labo Bergamot 22 with a generous helpings of vanilla.
It’s still too simple, not sweet enough at first, nor cosy, thick, luscious, not very ‘inviting’ and certainly not intoxicating or even alluring.
Yep, most of you probably guessed I’m making a direct reference to Guerlain’s Vanillic scents.
This Creed for me doesn’t make the cut, falling sort of a Gourmandy allure off the 1st spray, falling short of even say Chanel’s Allure Blanche albeit becoming sweeter and richer and gaining over it in Quality in the drydown.
Now, correct me if wrong but this is really not acceptable at these Outrageous asking prices; there’s absolutely nothing here to even have me remotely considering trading scents such as SDV, Roja’s Enigma or even T Ford’s TV.
So yea, pretty shocking; a Creed disappoints on the Quality front!
And yet again, Creed fail to push the boat a little. This is a $400, 2 note scent; it’s not nearly good enough.
Why not have used different varieties of sweeter vanilla for the intro or a dash of quince or toffee to mellow out the starting sourness?
Notes like caramel or tagetes that other Niche houses use for almost $200 less are simply not present here.
Anyway, enough bashing. It does as mentioned just above quickly mellow and become sweeter but never quite shakes off that bergamot peel/rindy bitter splash.
Even if they’re aim is to be minimal, there could be so much more as I feel both the vanilla and lemon are not as absolutely stunning as they should be for this price.
The sweet powdery tonka doesn’t really appear till late, although it is nice here if barely noticeable under the not-nearly-as-good vanilla.
My rating: 6/10. (Knock off 2 points for the price Creed charge)
    Quality: 7/10.
Just avoid yourself a big disservice and save for or stick to your SDV!

this potion is divine. the price is divine also.
I can hardly think of a man wearing it. it’s so sweet, calming, creamy and sexy that fits perfectly in women body. imagine of a classy lady (not girl) with excellent manners to sits besides you. the perfume stays close to the skin. when you talk to her something hits your nose. you approach her more and more to smell her. this scent is so so so classy and sexy. it drives me mad when i smell this on a lady. the only thing I want is to huge her and definitely go to bed with her. this is the best smell a lady’s body can get. it’s like a woman’s aura drives out of the skin and hits your brain.
I think that Creed created this scent with such a small sillage because of this sexy effect. ladies what’s out with this fragrance. men get crazy.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

I am VERY torn on this one, it is a beautiful scent, lemony and powdery vanilla. BUT, it is way too expensive considering its weak sillage and even poorer longevity. I am glad I bought it but will not repurchase.

Only had a sample of this, very light smell, originally the sample was for my wife…. I soon took it off her as she found it too vanilla.. I really loved it.. but .. unsure if id pay the full price for it

  35. :

This smells…exactly like Creed doing a vanilla scent! Regal and delicious, unisex bliss, and exclusive as all hell.
Pros: Quite possibly the most cozy, heavenly vanilla/lemon scent you’ll ever smell. Yellow spongecake, fluffy feather-light lemon, creamy tonka-bean, and a hug from a familiar friend; but a this-costs-almost-800$ hug! Slightly powdery in the dry-down – reminiscent of the sweet-powdery-gourmand drydown of Shalimar Parfum Initial, but much softer. I have officially made an association between Sublime Vanille and beach-vacations/boardwalks, though I can make no legitimate ties there except the “carefree” & uplifting atmosphere of both.
Cons: Less than adequate projection, slow but steady longevity, fizzles out pretty quickly, in about 3-4 hours, it’s undetectable. Also you have to sell your kidneys for a bottle, there’s that too. Still one of my favorite SCENTS of all time… too bad about the performance issues.

Let me preface this review by saying, I am not a fan of very sweet Vanilla fragrances. I have bought (to my wallet’s lament) many Guerlain fragrances blind that nearly made me nauseous. Everyone is different. It is just my preference. This however, is a whole other animal all together. I Love this Fragrance. No, on second thought, I ADORE this Fragrance. It is Vanilla perfection. It is light, airy, with slight Citrus and in NO WAY cloying or extremely sweet. I have found that when I wear this Fragrance I probably receive those compliments from women and men alike, second only to Creed ANGELIQUE Encens. It is not dry or woody but “fluffy” and somewhat ethereal. I never tire of it and although my collection is considerable, I reach for often. I would have never though I would have sprung for the whole Flacon, but I did. It’s THAT Amazing.
    10/10

Wow – this was a nice try !
As not beeing a gourmand vanilla lover, mixed with lemons tonka and musk- this really worked on me !
The fresh feel added and very subdued and soft aprouch on my body .
Vanilla tend to be very sweet gourmandish or mixed with resins and booze to a harsch or sweet mess I can’t stand!
This is a gorgeous vanilla and I will someday get a full bottle!
As someone else also mentioned…like the subtleness of Jersey
but with vanilla instead of lavender.
Thanks Deefit for great decant !

Oh, this is lovely! A fragrant gentle vanilla and feve tonka with a nice accord of lemon. So nice! It’s a very comfortable yet not edible vanilla-scent. I like this kind of vanilla that it’s not the usual head hummering factory candy vanilla around.
This is very sweet yet not cloying. It doesn’t last very long. It’s more of a skin scent, but it’s not lingering for hours.
I like a few of the Creed scents, but I don’t buy them, because they are not lasting ones, way too pretentious, all the fake stories about nobility…
and perfumes are so watered down at that price!
It has something in common with Chanel Jersey, less the lavender.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

Sublime Vanille is very nice, but somehow not what I was expecting since the vanilla is not upfront on my skin. Rather Sublime Vanille is creamy aldehydic fragrance with a touch of iso e super and citrus. The overall effect is soft, powdery and slightly citrusy. It reminds me a bit of Chanel Eau Premiere with a woody base and better projection.
Important note for gourmand enthusiasts: this is not foody at all IMO.

  40. :

    3 out of 5

Sublime Vanille is a shy and proper scent for a lady who is soft and feminine. It starts off a little harsh like air freshner but settles down and covers your skin in a lovely and subtle way. It is very clean in a way of fresh cotton & vanilla, very light and airy. Very smooth and luxurious feel to it, but that’s about it. I would recommend this fragrance to someone who doesn’t like loud and heavy scents, someone who works close contact with other people as it wears quite close to the skin, so they don’t have to worry about offending anyone because they won’t. I have a large decant of this but won’t be purchasing a full bottle. It is nice to have a small amount but I can’t see myself craving a lot of this scent.

  41. :

I wanted to love this- to adore it- but I can’t really smell it. There is a slight hazy sweetness that fades away to a smooth powdery scent with a bit of an acidic freshness. My husband says it smells strong and my adolescent son smells sweetness.
    Then it’s gone. sniff…
I’m trying a variety of vanilla niche perfumes and this was included.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

Well. This scent is nice. It is quite straightforwardly exactly what the notes suggest, soft bright citrus and sweet vanilla. It just doesn’t wow me. It just needs something else going on, IMO. For the luxury price I guess I want to smell something a little more unique. Plus it is quite ephemeral and not very lasting. Honestly it reminds me a lot of Ava-Luxe’s Citrine, which is lovely and a bit more complex.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

Sublime Vanille is my signature fragrance. It’s just what I like.
It’s a modern classic, graceful and subtle.
It wraps close to my body and stays descreetly close, yet the scent gets many compliments.
The fragrance is a sophisticated vanilla with fine citrus and orchid, very natural-smelling… heavenly… delicious.

I’m glad I tried this in the summer, because if I tried this in the winter I’d write it off as just another vanilla and stick to my spicier, darker vanillas. But there’s something special about this, and that is how refreshing and warm weather appropriate this vanilla perfume is. I’m a vanilla fiend, it’s one of my favorite notes, actually it probably IS my favorite note. Both as a supporting note and the main player. I just love how sweet and creamy it is. That said, it’s usually a lot better in colder weather, and most vanilla-citrus combos smell strange and cloying to me. Not so with this one! It’s 80 degrees where I am right now, and this is perfect for the hot weather. It has that musky-citrus accord that is present in so many Creeds, and it works surprisingly well with vanilla. I really like this one and could see myself wearing it a lot now that it’s warm, I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

not sure who will buy the large 250ml though… I don’t like using same perfume- need to have at least 2,3-10 different perfumes. And I don’t wear it all the time..
250ml will last more than ten years for me, in which the perfume will expire anyways.

This is a very subtle vanilla/citrus scent. It does live up to its name “sublime” but alas, no staying power at all. I sprayed my wrist and cannot detect it anymore in 20 minutes. So disappointing. Since I was looking for a high quality vanilla, i ended up with Guerlain Double Vanille instead. It’s spicier but a complex vanilla which stays.

I am really enjoying this fragrance – a wonderful balance of sweet, a little sour, and a lot of powder. Unfortunately doesn’t seem to be staying long – 20-30 minutes is the most I get out of it… For those who like the powdery dry down, Prada’s Infusion d’Iris is a good alternative.

Incredible fragrance. Loved it immediately. Problem:: the Creed fragrances I am loving do not have longevity. The seem to fade immediately once applied. For the price point of these fragrances they need to last more than a couple of hours. I love the design of Creed fragrances: Love In White, White Flowers, Himalaya and White Mountain Water, but I’m annoyed that I must reapply these throughout the day to smell them myself. Too expensive for that. Fragrance gets 4 stars. It’s perfect. The product gets 2 – needs to last longer.

    Delicate-sweet/ modest sillage/ vanilla harmony
I usually do not like vanilla in fragrances at all, but this one has a nice lemon note in it that almost gives it a lemon chiffon feel. Out of the 5 Royals, this one has the longest wear.
The Royal Exclusives are like the diamonds of the Creed Fragrances. They come in a 1.oz or a gigunda-sized bottle 8.4 fl oz bottle-
*Here’s where I want to know who was high when they decided on how the bottles should be made.*
Apparently woman have “delicate hands” and should not have to lift the bottle to spray it. In saying so, Vanillas Sublime, White Flowers, and Jardin d’ Almalfi DO NOT HAVE ATOMIZERS. They are decant. and any Creed specialist is going to reccomend spending even more money on top of your 650$+ you just dropped on buying one- for an atomizer. (granted they are beautiful and very well made… c’mon Creed)
Neiman’s and maybe boutiques(?) will carry the 1.oz versions of these if you actually want it without spending so much. But try these on before you buy at the counter, the longevity is very iffy with almost all of them especially if you drop fragrances off of your body fast.
Made from the best stuff.. but technically not exactly the best all-around.

Feel good, uplifting fragrance. I rather enjoy the unobtrusiveness as it can be worn to work. The combination of vanilla and tonka beans creates a rich texture, with high notes of citrus.

After wearing love in white for such a long time and knowing Creed’s quality I had no concerns in blind purchasing Sublime Vanille direct from Creed.
I had high expectation of something totally vanilla like, conforting and sweet.
I am afraid this isn’t fot me. Not only increadible weak but the combination of vanilla and lemon/lime is not nice on my skin. it all turns sour
The good thing is I have learned a lesson: No matter how good are the reviews and reliable the perfume house is,I now always sample it specially if it is expensive.

I Have a sample of this one and really like it. BUT I can’t believe how weak it is for the price??? It’s barely there . I then transferred the juice into a spray tester to see if the application was the problem and still. ,,,nothing! I sprayed the entire tester at once all over me. Like ten sprayes. And it was great I loved it. But how fast would I be going through a 30 ml. Bottle??? OMG would be gone in a month. This reminds me of Duelle by Diotique. But Diptyque is much stronger. And some already say Diptyque isn’t strong for them.
It has the same natural Vanille raw effect with just a little natural sweetness and a citrusy top note. Quite natural and realistic. High quality if it was only stronger.
Update , i bought it. I have this a lot weaker in memory. I put two sprayes on and I could smell it for hours. Odd. I am convinced I was so into heavy vanilla scents back then that I thought this was weak. Now I am not into vanilla so much anymore and wow , 2 sprays was all I needed.

Took this on a test drive at Neiman’s. The extremely snooty saleswoman told me it was the best vanilla scent there was. After browsing for a bit all I smelled was harsh citrus on me.
Ms. Snooty informed me that was not possible, smelled me, the checked the ingredients.
Aha, there it was bergamot. 3 hours later and there is no scent left on me.

    So disappointing.
I went to the store prepared to love this fragrance and maybe even buy a small bottle.
Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. The scent was faint and much sweeter than I thought it would be. The sugary smell lingered throughout the day, but faded from syrupy vanilla to primarily tonka bean and bergamot.
I concluded that I’d only like this scent if I used it to layer. But for $225 for one ounce, forget it.
Sadly, I’ll pass on this one.

    Absolutely no staying power.
Even though I find the fragrance nice, I feel cheated by the price. I am going through this at a fast rate. If it was 20.00 a bottle not 500.00 I would love it, but for the price I give it a thumbs way down. No silage, no projection. I can’t even say it stays close to the body which would be fine, but it cannot even be detected at all 2 hours later. Boo.

Initially there is a beautiful blending of bright citrus and heady vanilla, evoking a gourmand quality (imagine fresh vanilla bean ice cream next to a slice of lemon chess pie). The lemon soon dissipates, leaving behind a one note vanilla scent to me. This vanilla is a definite departure from other vanilla-based scents I have experienced in the past. Gone is the highly synthetic/artificial vanilla note seen in drug store bought perfumes and lotions. In its place an organic almost earthy vanilla (perhaps thanks to the inclusion of tonka bean which grounds the scent). Although listed as a unisex scent, I feel this is better suited for the ladies.
